I held out for as long as I could, but it was that ONE line ("I will help you fight..............*long pause*.................. if you bend the knee." that pulled me out my illusion. 😭 The critics were right.
Bran is only like 15 years old.. so imagine having 12 ish years of Bran memories but hundreds of years of other memories. Bran becomes a minuscule part of his brain.
I remember this is when I really felt the show no longer following G. Martins realism. Jaime should’ve been smoked by that dragon and so should’ve Bron. Last thing we see of the Kingslayer are his ashes blowing away in the wind. The plot armor is strong!
You didn’t feel that way during Battle of the Bastards? 😂 that entire episode was just the cherry on the shit cake that we had coming for the rest of the show.
Aaron, you are absolutely right! When planning this scene for the Dothraki, they took inspiration from the Native Americans and how they used their horses in battle. Absolutely beautiful !
She wants him to bend the knee. "Bend the knee" could have more than one meaning, besides swearing fealty. If he proposed marriage, they could both rule.
Similarly, the free folk / wildlings mention several times that they do not kneel. Each time, the context seems to be saying that they do not swear fealty to a king... but they also mention at other times that they simply take their spouse, not kneel and propose. So I think there's an interesting double meaning in both cases.
“Bro, go drop dead already.” I feel this so much with Littlefinger. Meera is such a small character in the grand scheme of this show, but wow, her scene with Bran here was so emotional. I love the Stark sisters so much. Such a beautiful reunion that fits them well. Wow, Aaron. I never thought about the Spoils of War like that, but that’s such a great interpretation; the strained family relationships after a war that separated them. Brienne got me too, Aaron 😭 Not the Jurassic Park theme! Now I won’t be able to unhear it lmao!! What a cool little fight sequence between Arya and Brienne! Arya really has grown up and I think Sansa realized that as well. Like you said, that’s her baby sister. Last time she saw her, all the fighting Arya wanted to do was child’s play. But not anymore. That battle was so beautifully produced. Wow. I love seeing the dragons in action and I love feeling hesitant in who to root for because we’ve grown to love characters on all sides.
I took this as Bran is gone. Whoever is the three eyed raven is simply that, once the transformation is complete the person is just a vessel and it’s the new home for the three eyed raven. So I really would say that bran is gone And the part about Daenarys being taken out, if they hurt her Drogon would go absolutely nuts on them

He was the puppet master in season 1…it was him all along

wrong.. Dany did listen to Jon.. she didn’t melt castles or burn cities.. she went after the Lannister army that just slaughtered the Tyrells and stole everything
As Bran said “I remember so much else now”..it’s like ..imagine if the scope of your memories included that of everyone’s- your original ones become insignificant ..like 1% or the total memory storage to recall upon. Like imagine you live 300 years how seemingly insignificant a single day of that life would be..would you even remember? Makes it hard…makes his original identity hard to pick out of everything else taking up space in his mind, even down to emotions (since he’s experienced them all), which is why he seems so dull.

@@Nightmarigny Pretty hilarious way to look at it. The author of the books signed a contract with HBO for the next book to come out in time to where the show caught up to the end of his last books. What exactly became a more important priority for George to not finish his next book in 8-9 years, & since they started shooting the first episode? You have no clue on how a business runs. Do you not understand that HBO had hundreds of employees working on GOT, that their lives were in limbo, because George was a lazy toad? D&D made the right call, they had enough of waiting around for George, they took matters in their own hands & made their announcements that season 7 & 8 would be the last of the show, so that they & the rest of the people working on GOT can plan their future. The 20 best consecutive episodes of GOT started at the start of season 6, IMO. All episodes that had ZERO book material for it. 4 of the top 6 rated episodes on IMDB come from those seasons. 3 of the top 4 episodes that got the most amount of "10" of 10" were from season 6 & on. 1 from season 8. Haters still represent a small minority, sure are loud & go out of their way to criticize, but they are not in the quiet majority. A couple of episodes in season 8 does not represent the entirety of their work. Those 2 episodes do represent the platform that George built for where the train was to arrive to. On why he's taking another 4 years to rewrite his own ending. Plenty of stuff to dissect in the first 5 seasons, as in poorly written, that's if you're not a George Fanboy.
I think this episode set the record for most people being set in fire than any other show/movie. Could be wrong on that. Good review, and good reunion episode. The biggest “oh f###” moment for me was when Theon saw Jon, though.
Fun fact.. Maisie Williams is right handed, Arya Stark is left handed in the books.. when she got the part, Maisie was too young to read the books so her parents did & told her what she needed to know.. she decided to train left handed.. she was 12.
@@DukeJimbob the books are not exactly age appropriate for 12.. & I believe she was cast at 11.. I’m sure her reading & comprehension levels would have been more than adequate.. however, the WRITTEN subject matter..? Might be best to skip over the gory details that made grown adults shudder when it comes to children..
Don't forget, her first master was the first sword of bravos and her skills honed by the faceless men and she trained against Brienne to test her skills against the best knight trained fighter.
That, "Chaos is a ladder," line from Brann really struck Littlefinger to the core. It's what Littlefinger said to Varys in season 3 in the throne room: "But what do we have left once we abandon the lie? Chaos. A gaping pit waiting to swallow us all." "Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder." I think Littlefinger realizes right there that his little schemes are not going to work on Bran. And that Bran could be a serious threat to whatever he's trying to plot.
and yet, Littlefinger, who is supposed to be among the smartest characters, changes nothing about his course of action/plan, despite apparently realizing in that moment that Bran knows everything. So, there's that.
People think burning the supplies was dumb but the likelihood of them getting the caravan back to a stronghold to protect was low. It was easier to destroy it & not worry about Cersei coming after it. Yes a sacrifice but better than being focused on it vs the true 2 wars to come
People complaining really have never been in a river before. Not all shoreline is shallow. Grew up on a river & one side was shallow & had a bank in a few spots but all other edges were super deep & straight drop offs, no bank just cliff. (And surprise the cgi darkness fade out is too just add doubt if he survived or not OR could even be tied to Jaime losing consciousness/air like blue the screen went black when Tyrion was nearly drowned by the Stone Men. We never had a scene literally from a non wolf characters eyes but it was just for dramatic effect.) I don't think I'm a world with valarian steel & the craftsmanship of these suits of armor that clearly are way more mobile than our worlds (or their worlds armor for jousting for instance) that Bron plus Jaime kicking couldn't get him out. My husband loves medieval armor and weapons - you CAN swim in armor. Its not easy. But it's not as heavy as you would think. He says it's perfectly plausible Jaime couldn't gotten out ALONE so he def could have with Bron. Think about it this way. Jaime is healthy & lean. Does his armor plus him weigh more than Sam? How could Sam get out of the river then? But no one would question that.
That's actually a great theory I never heard before about Bran being one of Arya's dog's wolf pack or Nymeria herself because she did say "I'm going home to Winterfell... that's not you" and then Bran says in this episode "I thought you would have gone to King's Landing"

I held out for as long as I could, but it was that ONE line ("I will help you fight..............*long pause*.................. if you bend the knee." that pulled me out my illusion. 😭 The critics were right.
Tyrion has always been a cruel and bitter character he’s just got some humility and humor to buff it out
Bran is only like 15 years old.. so imagine having 12 ish years of Bran memories but hundreds of years of other memories. Bran becomes a minuscule part of his brain.
Been refreshing YT for a week waiting for this! Love you guys :)
Dickon is a Tarley (Sam's brother) and therefore not from Highgarden but Horn Hill.
the "Highgarden-Guy" is Dickon Tarly - Samwells brother and the older man before was their dad ;)
Good thing Daenerys discovered teleportation. Otherwise it would've taken her months to get to the Lannister army.
Like everyone in season 7
@@kathiamartinez2586 They have been teleporting since S1 lol
@18:26 I think that is only because he remembers what it feels like to be everyone including Brandon Stark.
Brienne got me too, Aaron 😭
Not the Jurassic Park theme!
"Not the _Jurassic Park_ theme!"
I knew it reminded me of something else!!! Thanks Aaron!!!!!
your wild speculation and predictions are hilarious, i love it 🤘😂
His wild take on Bran sending the wolves to Arya was kinda funny
I took this as Bran is gone. Whoever is the three eyed raven is simply that, once the transformation is complete the person is just a vessel and it’s the new home for the three eyed raven. So I really would say that bran is gone
And the part about Daenarys being taken out, if they hurt her Drogon would go absolutely nuts on them
yall keep saying cersei is one step ahead of dany alone, but it was tyrions ideas, hes her hand, an advisor and he keeps fucking upp, hope yall realize that
Can't believe he wanted Drogon dead SMH
You are nuts 😂 the only reactor I've ever seen to wish the dragon die! But cheer crazy Cersei on. You got it.
Dany definitively doesn't need to be humbled, on the contrary she should have ended everyone when She had the chance.
Facts 😂 the fact they wrote the Tarlys refusing to bend the knee pissed me off to no end. The Tarlys were Targaryen loyalists. 🤦🏻♀️ not to mention they seem to have forgotten that Dany isn’t actually truly a foreigner, she was born in Westeros.
@@daniig62 Dany barely spent a single day in Westeros the moment she was born, she grew up in Essos for the majority of her life and brought foreign armies. I guess you kinda forgot.
@@ianvera4299 I said what I said. It makes no sense that the Tarlys would be against her, the Tarlys were Targaryen loyalists. Guess you forgot that. Moron.
"YES BRON! GO! GO GO! Wait... NO! DANY!!! FIRE FIRE FIRE!!! WAIT! NO JAIME!" The agony and ecstasy of GoT. 🤣Imagine having to wait a WEEK to see how it turns out.
Was just wondering when you guys would upload! Just in time love it as always guys
You can throw any human in this entire show in front of any bus you'd like, but you start saying you'll let a dragon die just for Jamie to live, it's beef we got between us fam
xp sorry, I'm done now, how y'all doin
You missed this about baelish. It was his dagger. It was he who sent the assassin to kill Bran in season 1. And it was he who told starks the dagger belonged to tyrion. He killed Jon arryn too in season 1…with the help of Lysa…jon arryn’s wife and catelyn starks’ sister…He started the beef between lannisters and starks. He was the puppet master in season 1…it was him all along
I wait for these!!! The. Spoils. Of. War. One of my favorite episodes.
U all need to go back to the weekly release i can't wait for 2 weeks for every episode man
You guys have grown on me quite a bit. A perfect blend of class, intelligence and a little dash of street smarts. The chemistry of opinions and breaking things down with such a sunny disposition is amazing. It truly is entertaining to have you guys guess where thing are going with the show. I keep checking for the next video everyday. Cheers 🍻
One of the only reactors who appreciate the devastating reality of Brans scene was and “You died in that cave”
wrong.. Dany did listen to Jon.. she didn’t melt castles or burn cities.. she went after the Lannister army that just slaughtered the Tyrells and stole everything
Remember that look on Bran's face when he gives dagger to Arya
Trying to spoil without spoiling outright I see
They’ve watched to the end already! You won’t spoil them haha
The ‘we have glass’ song killed me 😂 This is one of my fav episodes of GOT, I have been waiting for you guys to get to it!
When a white wolf dies, the Stark dies. Or some Part of the person and the person changes. Check all the white wolves deaths.
i need a full version of sittin' on the dock of the bay like yesterday
As Bran said “I remember so much else now”..it’s like ..imagine if the scope of your memories included that of everyone’s- your original ones become insignificant ..like 1% or the total memory storage to recall upon. Like imagine you live 300 years how seemingly insignificant a single day of that life would be..would you even remember? Makes it hard…makes his original identity hard to pick out of everything else taking up space in his mind, even down to emotions (since he’s experienced them all), which is why he seems so dull.
Where the hell were you guys? 😡
Your predictions are just.... wild.
Damn, dude--you were putting some real stank on that Otis Redding! I'm a trained vocalist, and I'm not sure I could have done any better.
This guy is all conflicted shouting one thing half the video and then the opposite the other half. And Danny did listen to John.
Also just to let you know this epi was nominated for a bunch of filming emmys and i believe it won for this epi. I loved how they did this epi. and earlier on scaring the crap out of Balish.
Is it just me or does Arya look like the spitting image of Ned Stark at 28:56
Mike you have a good voice! I want to hear more! BUT you are really pissing me off with your love for Cersei and sayin that Dany should burn everyone alive! Are you nuts?!? We need to get rid of the tyrants NOT create more! lol…you nuts bro 😉
You really do have an amazing voice and you both sound really good together
I follow alot of reactors, when you were in season 6 they werte in season 5/6, they all finished the show, yall still chilling on season 7 😂 nonetheless love this channel
They are actually further on Patreon
@@HiThereLindsey yes of course, everyone who can afford should definitely support them.
Great episode, but they keep getting better so quickly. Don’t make me wait 2 weeks again mannnn
Keep doing what you’re doing, lads! Yours is probably the most entertaining reaction channel I have come across. I will never understand the love for Cersei, but love that you spend the time to try to connect the dots and do predictions before getting into each episode. One thing I want to mention though: The Wheel of Time series is NOT a George R.R. Martin story. It was written by Robert Jordon and has nothing to do with A Song of Ice and Fire (the book series that A Game of Thrones is based on). TWOT adaptation series can be seen on Prime Video and is just now promoting a second season. Cheers to you both!
Been waiting for this one!!!! Excited to watch this reaction!
18:26 Her meeting Nymeria in the forest before she got to winterfell was about her and Nymeria Bran had nothing to do with it.
I love how often y’all pause to throw out the random ass predictions or theories lol
ugh i need these faster i cant wait any longer!!!!
I know this fool didn’t just call sansa a cersei mini 💀
Bran finding & sending Nymeria to tug on Arya's heartstrings & get her to change course is a good call
I like bronn but at the end of the day if it's him or 1 of 3 dragons in the world Im sorry bronn get roasted don't care. especially drogon
I’m so happy
Been waiting for this 😭
Why are you two cheering for Drogon to get offed? She attacked enemy soldiers, which is perfectly fine in a war. What did they do to her allies?
Love your guy's reactions! Also, voice is on point.
This is what I’ve been waiting for this season my personal favourite episode of season 7.
Welcome back.
Ranked #5 on all time GOT episodes on IMDB by many thousands of votes cast. So much for the haters of season 7.
Aaron finally nailed a good take, on Bran being Professor X with the wheelchair, just in more ways then one.
Mike, you did much better in the prophesying of things.
well, it doesn't make any sense. there is enjoyment, and then there is critical thinking. two different things. this episode is where the writers abandoned their duties and started to work on Star Wars and other pitches. and it shows.
@@Steve-eh4db FACTS. I agree with everything you said.
I think this episode set the record for most people being set in fire than any other show/movie. Could be wrong on that.
Good review, and good reunion episode. The biggest “oh f###” moment for me was when Theon saw Jon, though.
Arya and Brienne fighting was always one of my fave scenes
Fun fact.. Maisie Williams is right handed, Arya Stark is left handed in the books.. when she got the part, Maisie was too young to read the books so her parents did & told her what she needed to know.. she decided to train left handed.. she was 12.
She couldn't read at 12???
@@DukeJimbob the books are not exactly age appropriate for 12.. & I believe she was cast at 11.. I’m sure her reading & comprehension levels would have been more than adequate.. however, the WRITTEN subject matter..? Might be best to skip over the gory details that made grown adults shudder when it comes to children..
I’ve been waiting for you guys to get to this episode🎉😊
Side note, not show related but you have such a beautiful voice, Mike! I Love to listen to you whenever you sing! 😊
I love the war strategy discussion before the episode
Morning fellas, miss ya faces! Love this episode let's get into it!
Don't forget, her first master was the first sword of bravos and her skills honed by the faceless men and she trained against Brienne to test her skills against the best knight trained fighter.
That, "Chaos is a ladder," line from Brann really struck Littlefinger to the core. It's what Littlefinger said to Varys in season 3 in the throne room:
"But what do we have left once we abandon the lie? Chaos. A gaping pit waiting to swallow us all."
"Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder."
I think Littlefinger realizes right there that his little schemes are not going to work on Bran. And that Bran could be a serious threat to whatever he's trying to plot.
*ladder
@@cerw1n_*laddah
and yet, Littlefinger, who is supposed to be among the smartest characters, changes nothing about his course of action/plan, despite apparently realizing in that moment that Bran knows everything.
What serendipity I just came from listening to The Boys soundtrack, We Didn't Start the Fire, to seeing this reaction posted
That's actually a great theory I never heard before about Bran being one of Arya's dog's wolf pack or Nymeria herself because she did say "I'm going home to Winterfell... that's not you" and then Bran says in this episode "I thought you would have gone to King's Landing"
lol. I have literally never seen anyone react to this show the way you guys do. It’s crazy. Everyone is usually more upset about something possibly happening to the dragon more than anyone else. I’m baffled 😂
You don't want magic to die from the world but Dany was not going to break the wheel, just reshape itc with her on top. So while sad dragons had to go.
Take as long as you guys need between uploads but keep up these banger intros! 🍻
*Good girl pets to Brooklyn*
Arya fought with her right hand behind her back. As masie Williams knew Arya is left handed so learned to fight left handed.
Arya doesn’t have a rapier. That’s an epee.
dany has been power hungry from the start , she told y’all that when she let daario go
These two said that burning them all would be the way the only way Dany would win - by force. But you won't have love so when you see her burn honorable people you do see the horror & why its not worth defending that path.
One of the top episodes of the series 🙏🏻
Aaron...really liked your thought on the Spoils...a long overdue reunion of siblings...very much a reward of it's own nature.🤗
I actually ship Bran and Meera
Meanwhile Jojen and Rickon were making out all the time off screen
@@bradcarver8127 yes, I know. I also remember seeing Sydney Sweeney pop up in the back as well.
littlefinger stayed too long in the South; he got comfortable, he got arrogant, he got sloppy. he's forgotten that in the North the game is played by very different rules. he should watch out for that.
seriously voice of an angel
Some Otis Redding to start the video is the way.
Here comes Drogon!!!
Great voice but really random song😂😂 cant wait to see your reaction to this and the end.
