Nice report. I bought a cow cod at the 14. Good thing the boat owner had one of those depth release thingings. Have seen one since the mid 80’s when we used to fish them at 900’ with no electric reels lol. No hook limit too. They would float a 3’ sinker easy but we over fished them for sure.🎉
@@perhaps_not_ You can catch them but you cannot keep them. If you’re in a private boat you have to send them back down for release. Fishing 440’ you don’t really know what you’re gonna pull up.

I use the other windy app (it has a blue logo) to check weather stations. The wind forecast is less user friendly, but it shows weather stations along the beach and at the islands.
Was on Coral sea last Sunday All fish on Sardines, flukes,I got a limit of Calicos to 22 inch and a 23lb seabass on hookup baits

I got the battery on Amazon, its a 14.8V 5000mAh BM5000 Replace Electric Fishing Reel Battery. The rod is a Rainshadow RCLB80M

Nice clip...was the second bass the big follower? The following fish often seem to be the big one. How do you plan for and catch those?
When we fished tournaments we would keep a drop back bait ready for followers. Nowadays we just try to catch them on the next cast lol
