Do you want to fix a broken iPhone 7 Plus? Well, you are in the right spot. Watch as I replace the screen on my broken iPhone 7 plus. The whole project will take an experienced tech about 30-45 minutes. If this is your first smartphone repair, you might want to set aside an hour or so to fix your phone. Make sure to keep your screws organized, so you dont lose any, or put the iPhone screws back in the wrong spot. That is dangerous.

Thanks Jerry! I was able to fix my 12 year old son’s hand-me-down phone screen thanks to this video. I had him play surgical nurse while I played surgeon. I hope he learned a little about repairing electronics in general, but most importantly that he can learn useful and valuable skills from UA-cam University. Our local phone repair place wanted $100 to do this job. The screen/digitizer/LCD kit was only $18 on eBay. He can afford $18, but would have had to wait months to save $100. Another valuable lesson.

Although this was uploaded 4 years ago, I used this video to replace the screen on my mother's iPhone 7+! I've never repaired or even taken apart a phone before, so it was pretty nerve-wracking. Unfortunately, I did tear the top ribbon cable, but luckily the screen I bought had it pre-installed, so I was able to swap it with the one in the original screen. Everything else went fine, and the phone works! Thank you, "Jerry!"
Also, my favorite flavor ice cream is mint chocolate chip.

Ps. I love strawberry ice cream. :) Thank you again.

Hi Jerry, great tutorial, almost worked for me. After the replacement everything worked except the ear speaker is no longer working.
From the research I did, it seems like some circuit on the flex cable got exposed because the glue sticker remained on the old screen without me noticing it.
Probably created a short circuit... I tried to put back the glue on the circuit but seems like the damage was already done. I would definitely point this out in your video as it is easy to miss this part and not pay attention to any exposed circuit...
    Anyways... pistachio for me :S

Butter Pecan! I had upgraded from an iPhone Xs Max to a 13. I then gave my Xs Max to my elderly mother. As I was prepping the Xs Max for my mom, she dropped her 7 Plus (also my old hand-me-down) and cracked the screen. Great timing mom. Your video really helped alot. I now have a backup for my mom, for when she inevitably loses or destroys another phone.

Thanks. I used your video as a supplement to the vague instructions that came with the replacement screen. I was able to get it all together except i lost one of those pentalobe screws😭. I found afterwards that the rear camera was completely black for some reason. The front facing camera worked, the speaker worked fine too, but the camera I didn’t even touch stopped working.

Just finished installing the I phone 7 plus screen. Thank you for the clear and concise directions. The hardest part of the install is those dang micro screws. I had to pull
