To be fair, when Lestat first started messing with Antoinette it was when Louis was eating rats only. Louis literally told Daniel his libido was low and he was too weak so he understood why Lestat started seeing Antoinette.

YES!!! Louis isn't putting Armand through half the mess he put Lestat through. (I'm just gonna leave out how it's Lestat's fault for turning him so fast 😆.)

I just found your channel and OMG! I agree with so many of your takes! Here are some of mine:
    1. I believe everything Lestat says when he gets wistful or goes off-script at the trial. The dialogue Sam wrote for him is probably false, esp. in the beginning when the coven is trying to make Louis sound like a violent stalker. Lestat probably had to go along at first to make the coven think he was onboard so that he could get away with his asides as the testimony went along.
    2. There seemed to be something going on with Lestat mentally. A couple of times he looked like he was nodding off in his chair, and he was swaying on his feet when Claudia was executed.
    3. Shut up, Claudia! She is so unrelentingly hateful to Lestat, it amazes me. Here she is on trial for her life, and she has to get a couple more digs in, always trying to drive a wedge between Lestat and Louis.
    4. Lestat’s apology to Louis was so beautiful! However, hasn’t he already apologized for this? I think that at this point, Louis and Claudia owe him an apology for poisoning him, slitting his throat, and leaving him out with the trash.
    5. I think Lestat’s version of Claudia’s turning and the fight are true in as far as they add context to Louis’/Claudia’s versions. For example, during the fight, we didn’t see what went on in the coffin room, but we heard Lestat telling Louis that he didn’t want to fight like this and he was trying to restrain himself. There was also a giant dent in the lid of Louis’ coffin after that episode.
    6. When Lestat gets back on script after his apology, there is a slide showing Santiago and his two girlfriends hanging off of the Eiffel Tower calling to Lestat to come to the trial

      Lol, welcome!
I was thinking about Sam’s script. I think it was more Armand trying to paint Louis as so nuts after seeing that Armand was down for Louis's death😡. I have to go back and see if I can zoom in to the first page of both versions of the script. But yeah, Lestat had to set the record straight a couple of times, and I believe those parts as well.
All season, Lestat had a sway to him. I first noticed it when he was Dreamstat and Armand was telling his back story. I think he had a ton of regret during the trial.
Honestly, hot take, I don’t understand why she hated Lestat so much! I really can’t stand book Claudia. 🤔 Real-time correction: She probably hated him because of the train jacking, but she hated him before that, and I don't get it.
Lestat apologized in seasons 1 and 2! Louis and Claudia never apologized, and they tried to kill him! I was annoyed in episode 8 when Louis gave Lestat grief about going to Paris for the trial!
I missed the dent in the coffin! I’ll definitely be rewatching s1 soon.
I remember the slide, but I totally didn’t put 2 and 2 together-that was the news article they showed Daniel! 🤦🏾‍♀️😆

Hey Friend, that last episode was a trip! First of all, I agree with you. I think that Claudia should've just been quiet while Lestat was apologizing. I think she also wanted to believe Louis's version of events, but she wasn't in the room when Louis started to beat on Lestat, and what led to him being dropped from the stratosphere. Honestly, I'd have hit Louis, too. Not that I'm condoning this, it's just that he wouldn't listen when Lestat was begging him to stop because Lestat didn't know if he could restrain himself.
I thought that Lestat was really sorry for dropping him, and also sorry for what was happening to Claudia. Armand being in that little box being guarded by Sam (LOL!), was really an insult to everyone's intelligence! Really, what could Sam do if Armand was to use all of those ancient powers that he has? He COULD HAVE prevented all of this, but now we know that Armand had a hand in the suicide of Nicky. Lestat said that Nicky had "assistance" with ending himself. Armand is a jealous, and very vicious lover. He wants what he wants, and it doesn't matter who gets hurt. What did you think of the way Lestat handled that soldier who called them that homophobic slur? I thought it was great. The way he teleported to the back of the theater, and how no one questioned how he did it. I also liked when he held that audience member's hand, and made him feel his loneliness.
I don't know if I believe that Louis was "hunting" Lestat, but he could've been. I know I'd be hunting him, lol.

Hey girl, Hey! Exactly, Louis might have been the one really tripping, just like how he said he downplayed his role in changing Claudia! I wish I hadn't cut that out of my other video, but I didn't want to come off like I was victim-blaming.
      Armand is waaacccckkkkk!!!! 😂
That's why I'm like Armand is saying he couldn't prevent it. I want to hear the why! Armand Iscariot 😒 Louis was his 30 pieces of silver in exchange for Claudia.
Lestat handled that idiot soldier masterfully! Judge not lest ye be judged! That soldier messed around and found out!! I hope Lestat drains him later 🤷🏾‍♀.
I think they were haunting each other, but Lestat was probably going after Louis more than anything. Louis didn't even notice him at the brawl.
I'm so sad there's only one more episode!! 😩

@@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews I really wish that the seasons were longer, and now we have to wait til God knows when, to have a season 3. They still haven't announced if the series will continue. This is one of the best shows out now, and it isn't getting as much recognition as it should. I watched your video last week, btw, I was a little busy, and I didn't comment. I don't want you to think that I didn't watch. I had a deadline for a story. It's about the folklore of the area where I live. It's actually really dark, and some of it could be true. People always disregard things that seem impossible, but you never know.
Did you know that Assad Zaman watches the reaction channels on YT, and comments, too? I've seen him give interviews to other reactors, and he even watches the ladies on Strugglez Review. That doesn't mean we shouldn't criticize his character, Armand, though, lol. Remember when I told you about the painting in Louis and Armand's bedroom of Judas Iscariot and Jesus? I knew that Armand betrayed Louis, and I don't get how Louis is still with him, unless, he completely changed how Louis remembered the events in Paris.
Did you believe Lestat's apology? I thought it was sincere. Armand didn't seem too impressed with it. There's no way that anyone can make me believe that Armand couldn't prevent what was happening. First of all, he wasn't beaten like the others were. He looked fine to me, sitting there, and having Sam (LOL!) guard him. Secondly, he is an ancient vampire with amazing abilities. In the scene at the restaurant, where Louis attacked Santiago, Armand stopped time, and made all the vamps at the table, fall out. Don't tell me that he couldn't control a bunch of mortals, and the vamps on stage! He could've saved them all, if he wanted to.
Do you think that Armand was controlling Lestat on stage as well? Maybe preventing him from helping the accused three? Also, what's up with that tree in the rock garden? Is there significance to it? Another thing, why are the bookshelves so high up? Louis can't fly up there to look at anything, and is this another way to control Louis's knowledge of the world, and maybe even his knowledge of vampires, and their nature?
Sam Reid says that next week will be major plot twist, and I wonder what it will be? What do you think it is?

@@ThatArabGirl10 Guess what? They announced it's renewed for a third season!!🥳🎉
No worries, Friend! I hope you're taking some time for yourself. I know dark stories can linger.
LOL, I don't have to worry about Assad finding my channel. The YT algorithm will make sure he doesn't. I''m always shocked when I get any views!
I remember you saying that about the painting because my jaw hit the ground. It's still a bit sore 😩😆. The folks behind this show truly put so much thought and care into this series, and I love them for it!
I think Armand definitely did some flipping and reversing on Louis' brain!
Of course, I believe Lestat's apology! Do I think I'll regret it later, of course 😆!
I'm convinced Armand just didn't want Claudia as competition. I know it doesn't make sense because she was gone with Madeleine. Armand found Louis with his arm bloody because Louis couldn't feel Claudia; I know that had to make Armand feel some type of way, and the way everyone says Armand is the jealous type, I wouldn't put it past him to get Claudia out of the way so there's no chance for Louis to do what he did to Lestat which is turn inward 🤷🏾‍♀. That easily could have backfired, but Armand probably wouldn't care as long as Louis was crying on his shoulder.
Hum, I haven't considered Armand controlling Lestat. If anything, I think Armand is manipulating Louis' memory of how the trial went down. I partly think Lestat could have been the one to help Louis, but I doubt it.
In season one's "Fake Rashid" said the interior designer said they needed the tree for some life or something like that. I would have to go back. I think it was episode 4 because that was my least favorite episode, so I didn't watch as much.
I definitely think Armand is trying to prevent Louis from leaving by any means necessary, so if he has to hide information, he will. I want to know what gift Louis has. Can he stop time or do anything cool other than fire?
The only plot twist that would be dope to me is if Louis was actually saying, "I've come to kill you" to Armand. When I did the video, I said Santiago, but after thinking about it, the impact would be way harder if he was actually talking about Armand.
What's your take on the twist?

    • @ThatArabGirl10
      @ThatArabGirl10 25 днів тому +1

@@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews Yes, you're right. Dark stories do linger, and the kind of stories that I was after, were beyond disturbing. I asked for people to send me their UFO, vampire, and any paranormal true stories they may have. I got more than I bargained for, girl! You wouldn't believe how many people have had encounters with vampires. I know it sounds crazy, and they didn't want me to print their name, which I wouldn't do, of course. People that are visited by their vampire lovers, have been visited for decades, and other crazy things. These are not people on the fringes of society. They're people that are pillars of the community, and hold important positions. They're well educated, and have families. You know how you can tell when someone is lying to you? These people were truly scared, you could see it in their eyes, and they were not lying or trying to get attention. I had people pull out of the middle of interviews because they were afraid that their lover, or attacker, in some cases, would find out that they were talking to me. I told them that I understood. This show made me interested in the idea of real vampires. I mean, we just learned that there are aliens during the Congressional hearings, so why not other beings like a vampire? That tells you something about my life, lol.
Now that I think about it, I wonder if Louis was speaking to Armand when he was saying that he was there to kill him? It could be. However, Armand is really powerful, and like you mentioned, all we ever saw Louis do is the fire trick, and little else. He would have to really plan something big, just to get Armand. Armand also reads minds, and Louis isn't very good at closing his mind to other vamps. I'm also curious as to what Lestat is doing in 2022? In the books, he becomes a rock star, which I could see happening. Lestat is a rock star, with or without a band, in my opinion. I'm glad that they're going to do season 3, and I hope they continue with the series for a few more seasons. I'd be interested in the story of Armand, and the true history of Lestat, both as a mortal, and as a vampire.
It isn't fair that your channel hardly gets exposure. You have a great channel, and you're funny, and intelligent. I keep going back to that tree, for some reason. I feel like it holds some kind of secret because it's shown alot. Kind of like the "Tree of Knowledge" from the Garden of Eden, with the bookshelves being right there. I still don't understand the floating bookshelves! I really feel that Armand is controlling Louis' access to the truth. He definitely scrambled Louis' memories of what really happened. Were you surprised at how the fight really happened? Also, what did you think about how Claudia was turned? That means, Lestat DID tell him a little about the ancient laws, and Louis just didn't care. Louis is selfish in so many ways, and maybe he deserves what he gets from Armand. I really don't believe that Armand is the "love of his life", not after what was said in the San Francisco episode (the beige pillow comment, and how boring everything else, along with Armand being groomed to be a little b****, lol).

@@ThatArabGirl10 Oh wow! How could I read that article? That sounds... fascinating! To say the least!
If Lestat's version is to be believed 👀, Louis, even if he isn't all that powerful, will still try, kinda like a Chihuahua growling at a Rottweiler. I guess Louis hasn't messed around and found out enough yet. Pretty much like how you mentioned he went off on Armand in 1973! After that there's no telling what kind of foolishness Louis would do!
I don't imagine they would get another actor to be Lestat, but I don't want it if they did! I don't know why, but it is always a big fear of mine that he'll get replaced like Claudia or something. I don't want it 😩.
The tree and the whole room probably have significance. The showrunners planned everything, just like the painting you picked up on. We might not figure it out until season 4, though.
I'm probably cuckoo, but I still, deep down, think Lestat is Louis' true love. They are so toxic its hard to root for them.
#TeamLestat 😆 I believe him for the most part.
