Like the show in general and Season 2 in particular, the finale was amazing, from start to finish! It was full of great moments, whether it's the Loumand breakup, the Loustat reunion (in a hurricane, no less!), Louis' killing the coven, reading and killing Santiago, seeing the picture of Paul & Claudia's dress,all things Daniel, Louis' putting the other vamps on notice or name dropping Akasha. Speaking of which, since Season 3 will have Rock Star Lestat, as a way to summon Akasha & as a shout-out to the late, great Aaliyah, who played her in "Queen of the Damned," which IMO is by far the best non- musical thing about it, sing at least one Aaliyah song. Imagine hearing "Try Again," "One In A Million," "4 Page Letter," "We Need A Resolution," "Miss You" or "Rock the Boat" in Sam Reid's voice! Brains & hearts would explode in record time!
All of this! Back to back greatness from scene to scene. I would ABSOLUTELY love some kind of reference or callback to Aaliyah since she was the introduction to that character for so many. Great idea! 👏👏👏
Santiago forgot who he was dealing with when it comes to Louis! When he was runnin his mouth in the restaurant, and Louis had him by the tongue quicker than he could blink! That wasn't a clue that he was out matched!!!!!!!!! 😂
Louis can be ruthless and he made be the third most powerful vamp. But he doesn't have power to fly like Lestat and Armand. Also he can't stop time like Armand. Season 3 we could get a John Wick 4 style all out war where everyone hunts Louis.

We finally see the real Lestat's personality. 😭Not through someone else's perspective/memory. He did all those things to Louis and Claudia - but he always owned up to it and apologized, even when he knew he didn't deserve forgiveness and it was too late. He did it anyway because he knew people deserved apologies no matter what. I just realized yesterday that he's actually the only one who owns up to his mistakes, his abuse, his anger, and his failures. Every other person avoids looking at their mistakes. And he's punished every time. By others or himself.

You might try Belinda. It's one of the Rampling books. Set in modern(1990s) real world, it's tightly paced and a real insight to her feelings about sexuality.
It was an amazing season! When I started it, I was a little bit afraid that it won't be as good as the first. But it was excellent! So many good moments came out of this season. And I definitely like the changes they made so far

I literary cried when I saw Claudias dress. I think this season did such a good job portraying who Claudia could've been had she had the support and community she needed and it made me fall in love with her for different reasons than why I loved her character in season 1. and seeing her dress hung up there as a memento and that perticular dress really made me tear up.
Yes! Claudia was always the most intriguing part of the original film for me, so the fact that the series took that even further was wonderful. I understand! The dress was such an unexpected reveal, and for it to come at such a pivotal moment for Louis and close out the finale was just the icing on the cake. 🙏🙏🙏
I never trusted Armand and after last night, baby that sealed it for me! I loved seeing a softer side of Lestat. I loved the scene when Louie and Lestat reunited, I cried like a baby! Oh and the way it ended with Molloy, I’m dead! The ending with Louie sitting in his home with his brothers picture and Claudia’s dress on the wall while he was listening to other vampires thoughts and when he said what he said at the end…honey head my heart racing, let me be honest this entire episode had my emotions up, down and all around! I’m still feeling emotional after the finale and the entire season! I just pray and hope that we don’t have to wait 2 years for season 3! Love your reaction and feelings about this finale ❤

I think Louis felt so confident at the end for several reasons. He knew who he was in completion now. He's been gifted strains of very powerful blood. And he knows that one of the most powerful vampires on the face of the planet loves him - and even if they aren't together - Lestat will never let anything happen to him.

I had referenced the Akasha piece in the original cut of the video. However, I also saw where it was said that based on Lestat's vampire youth, as well as turning two other vampires before Louis, it made Louis subsequently weaker and the transference of Akasha's blood through him unlikely. So, I ended up cutting that part out for the sake of time.
I wonder if AMC+ would merge with Netflix in the future after seeing this show is going to be on Netflix. I know that it's not an AMC+ show but I believe that it could be good for the marketplace to merge the two of them because there's too much + services to pony up.
I could definitely see that happening! I love the Immortal Universe, but a lot of this will still hinge on subscriptions and viewing/streaming numbers. Anything that will help continue this universe (and hopefully without compromising its quality) is totally fine with me. 👏👏👏

This finale was as well written as the Peaky Blinders finale ..it answered so many questions and also left room for all future events
