    Lestat got Akasha's blood right before he came to New Orleans. Magnus, his maker, was an ancient vampire but several thousand years younger than Akasha - who was the first vampire. Louis & Claudia were much more powerful than any of them realized. It's why it took her so long to die by sunlight. Akasha's blood is the only reason why he was able to survive his "murder." Lestat was incredibly weakened from his murder, so, he didn't have the strength to go against the coven. And why he only had the strength to save one of them.
    You've got to remember that the show is based off of the entire Vampire chronicles - 13 books. So although it's true to the essence of all the books, it won't be true to each individual book because so many of the stories overlap in time and fill in missing gaps. Focus on the first 3 books - "Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat & The Queen of the Damned", then the book "The Vampire Armand".
    Also something to think about - Armand said he preserved Louis happiness. Daniel made Louis happy. Maybe his turning Daniel wasn't fully out of spite. Perhaps it was as apology gift to Louis. Perhaps it's because Armand finally found someone who could best him & hold his own against him. And by being his maker - he would always have someone he couldn't read and would therefore be a match for his own mind. Or perhaps Daniel wanted the gift. We'll see in season three perhaps.

      Ah, so I'm going to run with that, meaning the fight in season one was closer to what Lestat said happened in the trial 😆. I know the fight wasn't in the books, but Louis should be a lot more powerful than he showed in season 1.
      I was just watching Kawaii Bri 123 episode 8 break down, and something they said made me remember that in episode 5, Louis wanted Armand to spare Daniel as a testament to Louis and Armand's love. That part makes me think Armand did it out of spite. Like now that their love is over no need to spare Daniel, but as you said, maybe we'll get more info in either the Talamasca series or season 3. 🤞🏾

    Do you remember in Season 1 Episode 6, Lestat was monologuing while on the piano 🎹 about hotsprings, Greece, and 'Those Who Must Be Kept' before quickly changing the subject. So Lestat was already in Greece, where he met the caretaker of Enkil and Akasha who goes by the name of Marius de Romanus a 2000 year old vampire who befriends Lestat. This is where Lestat with Akasha's permission feeds on her much to the chagrin of her consort Enkil who attacked Lestat but was rebuffed for doing so.

      Right! OK. So 🤦🏾‍♀ The "Trial" just left that out? I thought it was weird that Lestat says he woke up from his 100-year nap in 1908, but he didn't meet Louis until 1910. I know travel took a long time back then, but dang.

      I'm biased toward Sam Reid, but they all are absolutely phenomenal!
      I wanted to believe Lestat saved Louis, but I just knew I was reaching.
      I don't think Armand was demoted, either! I think it was all a part of the play! SMH, Armand may not have dropped Louis from the sky, but that was still jacked up!
      This was such a beautiful ending to the season! 🥹

    Hey Friend! I loved the season finale, but I'm really upset that it's over for now. You were wondering about the group on top of the Eiffel Tower, chanting. That was the coven contacting Lestat about the play/trial. I wasn't surprised by how things ended with Armand. He's such an insecure, love starved excuse for a vamp! He kept mentioning the 77 years because he's trying to get one up on Lestat. I don't think that Louis was ever in love with Armand like he was with Lestat, and it's not because Lestat was his maker. I'm glad that Louis realizes that the "dark gift" is just that, a gift. I mean, who wouldn't want to be beautiful, young, and powerful forever?
    The scene that you mentioned with Lestat asking if Louis hurt himself, really got to me. The heartbreak in Lestat's voice, and the storm raging outside was the best scene! I don't know what happened to Armand, but now he has his own fledgling with Daniel, which he turned out of spite after Louis threatened him. I don't think I remember a scene where Armand looked so weak and defeated as this scene was. I mean, Armand is an ancient vampire who can walk in the sun, and doesn't have to feed as much, and has amazing abilities. I never thought I would see a scene like that!
    I felt so bad for Lestat. He's dining on rats with an idiot fledgling. It makes me wonder if he just turned that fledgling because of his loneliness? Btw, I'm pursuing different people who have had real experiences with real vampires in New Orleans. I found one lady who has lots of stories, and she is being honest. You can tell when someone is telling you a story that isn't true. The fear in her eyes really let me know that I'm talking to real "victim" of a true vamp. In her case, it was a female vampire who didn't keep her identity a secret. How did you like Lestat's living conditions, and fake piano? LOL! I think that he is punishing himself because of what happened to Claudia. I think that he didn't realize that seeing Claudia burn was really seeing his child pass away violently in front of him. He is truly sorry for what happened.
    I think we will see Armand again, but not sure in what capacity.

      OMG THAT'S RIGHT! I remember them showing Santiago and the other 2 during the play, but I did not connect those dots at all! OMG, Thank you, friend!
      Now, I can't remember if I took it out of one of my videos or not, but I said some think, like Louis, doesn't look at Armand with love in his eye the way he did with Lestat. So I definitely agree with you! I have always wondered why Louis hated Lestat so much; now we see that it was because he had a problem with himself.
      YES! The entire episode has me weak, but that part with Lestat particularly hit me. Sam Reid! Armand seems mentally stuck as Arun 🤔. At least Daniel knows most of the rules since he did the interview 🤷🏾‍♀️.
      On X, someone said that Louis and Lestat kind of swapped roles. I can see that since Louis was the main one wanting rats. I hope Lestat didn't waste all of his money! I also hate his fledgling 😆. I wonder why Lestat picked him! I also wonder if we'll see DreamClaudia haunting Lestat in season 3. Half of Lestat's life was spent underground. It kinda makes sense that he forgot about family.
      I hope Armand is a supervillain! I haven't read the books, but that would be cool to me 😆.
      Thank you for all your comments!! 🥰

      @@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews You're right, there is no love in Louis' eyes when he looked at Armand. How can Armand ever compete with Lestat? He's not as charming, or as romantic as Lestat is. Louis and Lestat definitely swapped places, and I honestly cannot figure out why Lestat made that fledgling! Wouldn't you want to make someone who can understand you, and be a proper companion? That guy (rat catcher) is none of those things. I wonder if Lestat made others beside the rat catcher? When I saw the stat of the house, and the wooden keyboard, I couldn't believe it. Lestat was always such a gentleman, and now, he looks like he's been doing meth for the past 20 years, LOL!
      I think that Armand is probably thinking of revenge. His trauma as both Arun, and Amadeo does not leave him. He says that time heals, but in his case, time did not heal him. The books are way different from the series, but also, similar in some aspects of the story. I didn't understand why Daniel was left with Armand. If I was Daniel, I'd say, the hell with my laptop, and notes, and just gotten out of there. I know that Armand turned Daniel as a way to get back at Louis, but it didn't really work. I think that being a vamp makes Daniel happy. He's no longer sick, and you can see his confidence is off the charts, now.

    • @LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews
      @LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews  5 днів тому +2

      💀 not doing meth! 🤣😂🤣😂 That's too funny!
      Lestat had to have been desperate. Louis already told him no pale proxy could replace him.
      $10mil! I would have left with just the clothes on my back! Now that I think about it, they never said when Daniel was turned. Maybe Arun snuck up on him in his house months later 🤷🏾‍♀️?
      In season one, when Louis said he would turn Daniel now, Armand did not like that. Then he goes and turns him 🤦🏾‍♀️.

      My brain must still be on fire from the episode cuz I meant to ask you what you thought about the tree getting removed! And I'm glad you're interviewing a person who has seen a vampire and not a vampire. That seems a lot safer! Did you finish the other story already?

    • @ThatArabGirl10
      @ThatArabGirl10 4 дні тому

      @@LikeChattingWithAFriendReviews Hi again! The tree belonged to Armand, so it had to go along with whatever belongings he has. Personally, I was happy to see that Louis finally caught on to Armand's games. He is probably the worst character in the show! I liked how Louis brought back Claudia's dress and put it on the wall, and a picture of Paul. It seems like the Dubai place came alive after Armand left. No more drab colors, and too refined things. It was so pretentious, wasn't it?
      I wouldn't dare interview someone who is or just thinks they are a vampire. Susan Walsh didn't make it back when she went after them. Read the book by Aphrodite Jones, called "The Embrace: A True Vampire Story", it is about Susan Walsh's disappearance. The woman that I'm interviewing is a lady from New Orleans. She's African-American, highly intelligent, and she is telling the truth. I can tell when someone is lying to me, and she is not a liar. I just finished the second part of the story. Don't laugh, but it's about the Bigfoot legend and where it came from. Here is the link: hornellsun.com/2024/07/02/part-2-mysterious-creatures-of-western-new-york-from-european-folklore-to-modern-big-foot-legends/
      Who knows? Maybe you'd like allow me to interview you about your channel and your life? Thanks, Friend!
