I completely missed all these games somehow as a kid, so it's nice to see what they were like through your videos. I do have sympathy for the writers of the Samurai Jack games since their hands were tied with the conclusion of the story. You did unlock the memory of the frustration of the jump good episode ending so thanks for that 🤣

Shame that this is the one of the only & last times we hear Aku being voiced by Mako in a Samurai Jack video game. Honestly, this is one of the few CN games that seems very enjoable to play, compared to many others.
Good to see you again. Loving your licensed video game reviews you've done so far. Hope to see more of those, like Billy & Mandy, Kids Next Door, Johnny Bravo, Foster's, Camp Lazlo and the remaining ones from Dexter and PPG. I'm also kinda curious what you'd say about the Nicktoons Unite games.
Another solid PS2 Cartoon Network game is Codename Kids Next Door: Operation Videogame. Solid control, decent level design, and some well done gameplay variety.
If you can, I recommend a channel named Cartoon Review. It's a channel that has reviewed practically every single Cartoon Network game, and is doing the same for Nickelodeon games. You two would honestly make for a good collaboration video.
so uh. i think the possibility of a dimensions pc port has opened again. recently. a vid called "a lot of games just leaked. A LOT" you can see lego dimensions listed alongside other leaked games.
Do you plan on doing a review of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time? I think everyone will agree that BTT is one of the greatest Samurai Jack games ever! ^^
@@ShadowStreak That's not dissimilar to the problem I had with the time slowing mechanic in Samus Returns- I'd mentally cast it off as a "Oh, this is just for making things easier, it's either not important or a crutch", so when the game designed mechanics around it more than the short semi-tutorial time after getting it... I just got annoyed at them instead of figuring them out.
After looking at the graphics for this game, wouldn't it have been interesting if there was an episode of the show where Jack entered some CGI world (a la 'Homer^3 from "The Simpsons"') to battle some random villain? Just a random idea I thought of. Can't wait to hear about those "Danny Phantom" games, though.
I thought the game was too easy even on max difficulty, also there was an annoying trick to the last 2 fights. Throughout the game, you get upgrades to your sword to do more damage, but for some reason the fight against Mad Jack and the fight against Aku are barely affected by the upgraded Swords, you have to use the base form Sword to do damage- which the game doesn't tell you, you just have to figure it out.

Oh you're very welcome!
What's even more impressive with Samurai Jack is that the characters don't even have outlines.
They do have outlines. They just aren't colored black.
Oh my god
I just noticed

9:13 "The game essentially goes into a Slowdown sequence"

Oh snap well that answers that question lmao
That really is a bruh moment right there. 😂

yeah and i think its canon to the show while its lackluster for its story the gameplay is good
can't wait for the danny phantom video. the ultimate enemy for the gba has a surprising amount of history behind it
They really replicated the artstyle on a different medium which is a great feat
Hell yeah Danny Phantom!!! and perfect timing as well! I could never beat Urban Jungle lol

This game was the last time Mako voice Aku.😢

Great suggestion! I've heard of that one before, been meaning to check it out. I plan to make a video on it at some point!

thats so Sega.....
Sega publishing a Samurai Jack game is so totally a Sega move
I'm pizza while watching and It's fine "Thiccness" yet🍕
Oh THAT episode 🤣 isn’t that a meme now?
I'm interested in seeing what Urban Jungle was like since I've never played it. I really enjoy Ultimate Enemy and still play it occasionally.
The reverse it true for me. Played Urban Jungle and beat it. Never played Ultimate Enemy. It'll be interesting.

Are you gonna do Battle through time, the most recent Jack game
He addresses that in the video
@@TheLadyLiddell oh sorry
@@EggFighterXB- you're good lol I know it's tempting to skip the ending conclusions of videos, but this is why sometimes you shouldn't.
@@TheLadyLiddell I kinda commented a little early
Well that's a title
...Were you supposed to use the time slowing thing on the chompy doors?
Yeah, I think I was in retrospect

Now we just need battle through time to tie it all together
yeah im still stuck but ive heard the ending is worth it
@@Ncholasbloom mmm I need to get the full ending
@@gracekim25 this ganes fun but im still stuck
You should review PPG: Chemical X-Traction next.
Thoughts on Samurai jack finale
I played that on GameCube
Oh I think I bought this game 🤔 haven’t tried it yet😅

To be fair, many Samurai Jack episodes are essentially fetch quests as well
yeah and i think this game is canon cuz of the character references like mad jack and scotsman
Honestly, I think Battle Through Time feels like a fully realized version of this game.
yeah im wondering what kind of review he's gonna give it

Oh definitely! I'm sure the team behind Samurai Jack could've pulled off something great with a concept like that
The whole "downward aerial attack being universally OP" holds true in Elden Ring. Jump attacking is broken.
Not gonna lie, The downward slash move reminds me of Ratchet's downward wrench attack move from the Ratchet and Clank games.

yeah the ending should of been a celebration
lesgo another banger episode :D
at least Battle Through Time had a better ending
yeah
im curious what his reaction will be it clearly was fanservice but good fanservice
