From 2 days I have watched all your Videos related to PLAB and all ... You have explained everything soo nicely .. like literally you motivated me to take PLAB .. Am final yr MBBS ryt now ... I'll start preparing for PLAB once I start my internship... Thanks a lot 😇😇
Congratulations on hitting 10k ! You deserve every bit of it ! Also, you're literally doing the same thing I want to do : being an img from India and doing psychiatry in UK. Thank you for helping us! ❤ And yes, make IMG faqs a series !
Hi Monisha ma'am. I just wanted to let you know that your UA-cam has been a huge factor in me finally deciding to give plab. I finished my internship in April this year & your videos have been of immense help and extremely informative. Thank you. Xx
Hi Dr Monisha I am a practicing physician from Fiji Isalnds and your videos have really motivated me to put a seal on my decision to join psychiatry. Thank you
Hi , in one of your videos you said ,"it's better to take coaching at London for plab2 " . So please make a video on, how to manage our stay , accommodation in London while taking coaching classes. Is hostel facility available for medical students as it is in india?
Do you think prepladder/ marrow would be necessary to get a better understanding of the subjects in order to crack UKMLA ( I am in my 3rd year, won't be graduating before 2024) or reading books and plab study material during my internship would be enough. Can I pass my MBBS solely depending on books? I know you can't give a specific answers to these questions but a generalized idea would be enough. I am quite uncertain on these matters and sometimes it makes me scared. And also congratulations on getting 10k subs ❤️🎉.
Best would be to make proper concepts of all clinical subject with help of Marrow or prep. This will help u in prof, NExT(which is required for getting liscence as well) as well as for PLAB/UKMLA. Then after final year get Plabable, plab1 keys etc( acc to ur convenience). U will be easily completion all Qbanks if u have proper understanding(possible thru a source like marrow or prep)
Hi 👋 If possible please make a video on eligibility criteria for plab. Because your videos are very nice and I am very happy to find your channel, which helps me a lot.

What all do we need to do during mbbs if I'm planning to enter training in uk through plab? I've heard that research experience helps . Is there anything else like teaching experience which we should be doing during mbbs, apart from preparation from plab exams?
Thank you for the information. Sorry I would like to ask a question. I am a little bit confused with UKMLA. So there will be UKMLA in 2024. Does UKMLA 1 & 2 will replace PLAB 1 & 2? Or IMG needs to do both? I am planning to do PLAB in 2023 (if things going well). I will repeat watching this video later. Thank you.

Hello mam, i m in 3rd first right now...i will be finishing my internship in 2023....so should i target PLAB or UKMLA.....? And if UKMLA.....can u give bit of information about UKMLA ?
Won’t there be a problem with my visa? Wont my validity expire by the time I’m done with 1yr of non training and 2 yrs of FY, 3 CT and 4yrs ST? Can I do only non-training job till my visa expires?
Hi mam What if i do mbbs from india and want to specialize in ortho from uk How much time will it take apprx after completing mbbs from india? Plz tell!
In simple words.. in training you progress to become a consultant at some point. In non training, that’s not the case. Like I’ve said in my video.. I’ll explain it properly in another video. Cheers!!
Hey doc, can you please comment if research work like case reports etc, done during your med school or before giving plab counts much for getting into your specialty training. Cause I don't have any such things on my CV and am worried if it'll be detrimental in this path ?
I didn’t do any research myself. So, don’t stress about it if you haven’t done any. And if you have the opportunity then do it with the intention of learning something more than adding it as a feather to your cap.

Hey, loved your videos. I just want to ask one question that what will be the whole process to become a consultant in uk for surgeon from non- trainee to consultant you can share your psychiatry pathway please Better if from plab to consultant with non trainee with all the exams like mrcp too.
I completed mbbs 2yrs ago...still a GP in Bangladesh... Didn’t get into any post graduation training but interested in psychiatry and want to be settled down in UK.... So in which pathway i should go through now! I am not telling u to give a decision..i just want u to give a suggestion or guideline...should i try for a post-graduation training in psychiatry in my country and then seat for mrcppsych or should i try for plab??...i mean which one will be a good, easier and less time consuming way!....
PLAB would be good and easier. Plus you would do your core training in Psychiatry in the U.K. and get to learn ropes here, which would in turn help you settle in better into NHS and help you with speciality training as well. I can not comment on “less time” as the pandemic has changed a lot of things with regards to slots being available for the exams. Hope this helps.
To become a consultant you would need to clear royal college exams and then apply/finish speciality training. So, yes royal college exams are mandatory.
I have heard Nhs have lots of workload, difficult exams, continue assessment training and documentation work. Despite of that pay is not so good in long-term. Is it true Mam??
Yeah that's basically true but with pay - what kind of money do you want? Consultants earn a base salary of 82k after full qualification - this is for 40hrs a week I believe.
Most of my friends parents who are IMGs, say they would earn much more using their consultant knowledge back in India or Pakistan as there's more private work.
Well, if it’s money you are chasing then USA is the place to be. Everybody has different goals and everybody’s circumstances and priorities are different. I want a good work life balance first which I can’t have in India or USA. Hence, I am here. You should evaluate your own situation individually. Hope that helps!
