Mindblowing how many new and amazing features there are!
I just upgraded to Ableton Standard 11. The deal comes with the free upgrade to 12! Very exiting stuff. Stranjah your videos are always dope informative and raw. Truly grateful brother. Really getting my head in the game. Now to get to work. Got my eye on amazing sounding Deviant Audio sample packs.
12 is actually sick. Sure they missed a lot of stuff we've been asking for, but now that we know what 12 is, we have to accept it. With that said, im still hoping for some good updates between 12 and 13.
Also, i havnt seen to many people mixing the new generate tools with comping. I think that is where the real magic will come from.

Already seems like a better upgrade compared to 10->11. I just need to know if it's very heavy, as that was #1 complaint of 11 from what I've seen (I'm on 10, so a comparison with it would be perfect).

Amazing demo! First one that's actually inspired me.
That said, I can upgrade from Standard to Suite for the price of Bitwig... If I hurry. Not sure how i feel about this.
It's funny to me that AI enabled drumkit swapping is something i did with NI Battery for decades at this point. Instead of having AI choosing similar sounds i just set up sample folders that contained samples i selected for specific sub genres of DnB, selected the sample cells and hit swap. It's funny for me to see this beeing implemented now in Ableton, XO and the likes. 😄👍
There was a way to do this in ableton long time ago but workaround

Ryzen is faster, efficient by price than Intel. and no issue

But have they enabled automating the sample/loop start in Sampler? Despite being able to do it in Simpler for a long time now, as of Live 11, you still can't do this in Sampler.
That would be great but not yet from what I can see. Let me double check

It’s too bad it still has that weird playlist thing that vaguely resembles an arranger. That has always been the one thing keeping me from switching to FL.

If it's not too long ago you should be able to upgrade to 12 for free. Check with Ableton customer service
Another few upgrades and Live will be like Bitwig, welllll... almost ;)

I don’t like that they already give Live 12 out to plenty of select people, but not regular paying users yet. They should at least give us a beta to play around with.

The strumming feature is overrated. It doesn’t take long to just manually do that. I wish it actually made it sound like a guitar strumming.
You can if you spend more than five seconds on it. Work on each chord individually and pick when and where you wantthe down and up strum, it actually sounds pretty good once you figure it out
