Which tomei are you running? I've been looking at tomei exhaust and the one I was looking at was the Tomei Ti. I have a Z1 single exit but I think the Z1 test pipes is what's causing the rasp from 2500-3000 RPMs. I also have a Nismo S-tune which sounds great actually. The Nismo gives my 350 the factory growl but deeper and louder than the stock exhaust.

In those comparison videos what else do those z's have exhaust wise? If they have different test pipes or headers or what not obviously thatl will have an effect on sound. But if there the same setup the 350z tomei sounds wayyyyy better imo

Art Test pipes and a motordyne shockwave is a purpose built tuned exhaust for g35 350z g37 370z. My personal favorite for G's and Z's
heard a 370z w a tomei yesterday and holy it is loud, video don't do it justice 😂. but its obnoxious and perfect loud for me lol

Sort of misleading to say you NEED the Rev-9 hangar. It bolts up fine without it.
