Have you noticed any gains? At least something lol? I have everything stock besides an eBay axle back and I’m thinking getting the tomei and z1 Y pipe mainly for the sound but what do you think performance wise?
To be completely honest my butt dyno is not that reliable. But from what other tuners say, the tomei "straight pipe" design does remove the OEM Exhaust restrictions. So I'm sure there is performance benefits. Also, the tires I had for this video were not hooking at all. :(
@@KrisxYona ahh ok. Decided to sell the tomei and go down the dual exit route with high flow cats . I love the single exit but damn it’s too loud for me
Ultimately the Tomei is a track setup. I have the Tomei Y pipe as well and it honestly sounds very very similar. However at higher RPM it’s fucking LOUD.
Thank you for the video, this helped me decide on the exhaust for my Z
I can listen to the startup for days ❤
I see you're from htown, nice, same here.
Completely bone stock 370z, tomei cat back is the only thing I have on there and it's fuckin sauce lol
im back to say that im selling my tomei the police are bothering me too much :(

thank you bro i was going to get the y pipe as well but ill just save myself the extra 700 lol
It sounds perfectly fine with Stock Y-Pipe and Stock Cats to be completely honest. But buying the Y-Pipe will give you the performance benefits.
@@ftmanjo1613 Adding the larger y pipe can cause drone but you will see a huge jump in performance because the stock y pipe is so skinny.

seriously i would get tomei with a megen racing y pipe and stock cats until your getting a tune then get test pipes and headers if you want .
I will be uploading videos soon with a Y-Pipe and Test Pipes Installed.
You get pops with stock y-pipes and cats ? Or do you have a tune
no tune just bolt ons
Love this vid bro, are you tired of the Tomei loud sound yet? Sounds not to loud in the vid
How do you get the mid pipe to fit on the stock y pipe? My stock y pipe is a smaller diameter than the tomei mid pipe
the y pipe?
So having just the catback isn't too loud huh?
Nice vid!🔥🔥🔥👏👏
thanks :)

Get Motordyne xyz y pipe instead of z1

@@47tunes23 - nah get megan y pipe, tomei stock cats sounds hella fire
isnt the stock y pipe 2.5 inch? whereas the tomei cat back is 3 inch? i was wondering if you had any issue installing it?
no issues, just make sure you use the new hardware. Old hardware will cause issues
Yo fam, what kind of phone mount you got lol
I have a 2016 370z,and I wanna buy a Tomei. Shall I have to buy a aftermarket y pipe? Thank you
This is so fucking hot holy shit.
Watching this while my Tomei is lost because of FedEx just breaks my heart 💔
Where did you order from?
which year is your 370z
Everything’s stock you just have the tomei muffler ?
it’s a tomei exhaust without the y pipe, so muffler and piping before the y pipe
u didnt have a burble tune right?
I want the tomei so bad but I want to a have dual exhaust so I'm thinking of getting an invidia exhaust
There's a new dual tomei tho

There are only two scenarios where a tomie sounds good
1. Stock cats and Y pipe
2. Turboed
Any other scenario it sounds like amplified raspy ass
Very good point, unless you don't mind the raspy-ness and want those performance gains. Hey, go right ahead :D
