Ugh! I can still remember the scent a beautiful, elegant Russian young woman wore here in Cyprus. She was intimidating and aloof I just couldn't ask her. Her perfume was absolutely beautiful. I still regret not asking her.

Quelques fleurs actually means “some flowers” in French and that perfume was one of Princess Diana’s favourites that she wore on her wedding day.
Do not blind buy that! I did. It smelled like cat pee on dry flowers.

Here's the story. I smelled my cousin's wrist on her wedding day because she wants me to smell La vie est belle. It was great but I forgot about it. Fast forward to a month or so after, i was on this seminar in our school. 200 plus teacgers were divided and there was like 30 trachers in the room where i'm at. It was a really hot day so the ceiling fan was on (it's always hot everyday here in the Philippines). Everytime the wind/air from the fan hits me, i was hit with this wonderful smell. It was so amazing. I kept asking my co-teachers but no one knew. When we had our lunch break, i walked towards the gate to go home when I passed this teacher and I smelled her. It was her who was wearing the delicious scent. So i asked her what she was wearing.. She said she forgot. And in the back of my mind, something about the scent is familiar. And it just came out of my mouth, i asked her if it was la vie est velle anf she actually snapped her fingers and said yes.
We filipinos are not so into designer perfumes. It is kinda rare for us to buy them because they are so expensive here.
Example 100usd costs about 5100 philippine peso more or less. And we were not really exposed to designer perfumes. Those who can afford are the only ones exposed to it.

So happy you reviewed Bill blast nude. Bill blast himself gave me my first bottle and I was hooked. I still have the bottle he gave me but it has the very littlest tiny bit left. It's the only fragrance I wore after he gave me it and I used to get complimented all the time. My coworker said that his wife would wear it and he didn't like it on her and neither did she. But that on me it smells very good so I guess it doesn't differ per person. I still have two bottles because I went crazy thinking that I would never be able to buy another bottle when I heard it was getting discontinued. I hear that if you buy it on Amazon it smells weird so don't buy it on Amazon. Try to buy it from I don't know somebody else I guess. I still am very attached to Bill blass nude even though I don't wear perfume anymore but once in a while I spray it once and it lasts forever.

My grandmother had one of her friends over in 1990/91. I was 17 years old. Her fragrance enveloped the room in a hypnotizing way and lingered after she left. I asked her what she was wearing and she said it was it was from Paris... Samsara (Guerlain). I had a boyfriend at the time get it for me for my birthday. It became my signature scent when I was in college and it had the same (lingering) effect on others as it did me. Next it was Undeniable (Avon-discontinued), White Diamonds, Tuscany Per Donna (vintage -not the reformulated one), Jessica McClintock, Ed Hardy, Metro BCB Girl (discontinued)...I could do a video just like this and another on my most complimented scents. I enjoyed watching this!

You are the only fragrance reviewer that I've heard talk about Nude by Bill Blass. Someone gave me a used bottle many years ago, and I fell in love with it. Yes, it is a little dated, and I still love it. I'm amazed that it is still available. Great video! Keep up the good work!

I have both EROS EDP & EDT. I have only tested the EDP but not for the whole day. But you should definitely try EROS EDT, it is a whole 'nother level. Omg.....fresh and floral. I love it! I will wear the EDP soon. And Chanel Eau Tendre is my signature scent dispite having over 100 other perfumes. 🥰🥰🥰

So as a guy I must say that you don't run into a lot of other guys that are frag heads... Very nice video and started my day off right just browsing through fragrance videos reviews and whatnot... I think from a guy's perspective one sent that particularly hopped out at me and it has many flankers I believe now and that was Daisy by Marc Jacobs my ex-wife used to wear that and it was unbelievable and I think to a man it just has something sweet yet Perhaps innocent and sexy at the same time... I'm talking about the original Daisy has an awesome scent trail... Another fragrance that some women might not care for but I think many men just gravitate towards and find very sexy and alluring is the old Guerlain classic Samsara which incidentally I wear from time to time... I have definitely subscribed! keep up the videos!! thank you!

I just ordered nude by Bill blass just love it you describe it exactly to the T. I have design as well haven't worn in awhile I gave to revisit it. I've done the same as you with perfume when I smell something I ask what are you wearing. I remember years ago when I was traveling to Manhattan everyday for work... I kept smelling this fragrance everyday one day I asked this woman what fragrance are you wearing it was georgio by georgio Armani. That was the big scent back then I went out and bought it. I wore it all the time. I haven't smelled that in years ommg brings back memories. I like to buy a fragrance and do something special with that fragrance so I have a beautiful scent memory with that certain fragrance.. Another crazy perfume lady here 🙄

I work in an office and this new girl walks in and smelled so clean but mysterious mixed with a relaxing rose incense. I finally got the guts to ask her and it was Frederick Malle “portrait of a lady” and that is exactly what it smelled like. It’s amazing

in my mid 20's i was working at a tanning salon and a coworker smelled so good- I asked her what she was wearing and it was Still by JLo-bought it that week haha. loved that one.
Such a great video idea!! My first roommate in college wore Quelque Fleurs, and I had to buy it after smelling it on her- such a beautiful fragrance. Also, Chanel Allure was another one she wore that I purchased and still love to this day. I really struggled to like Light Blue for the longest time. I would smell it on others and love it, but it gave me a headache when I tried it myself. Now finally 15 years later I can wear it and enjoy it!

@@blueandlucky000 I still like the Allure edp. Although, I purchased a new bottle in December from Sephora and it doesn't smell as intense as I remember. I'm guessing it's been reformulated/made slightly weaker.
I’ve never heard of the one by Betsey Johnson. I had three of her other ones the most recent is betseyfied and it smells good

I wore Design and Casual for almost 20 years. I was constantly complimented and both of them became my signature scents. About 3 years ago it was time to repurchase which led to buying several bottles from different sellers. What happened? Both of these perfumes use to last until a shower. Casual was so oily you had to wait to get dressed. Not anymore. I was lucky to get them to last 30 minutes. I kept trying new places to buy from until I gave up after acquiring 6 bottles of each. They were all the same. I searched the internet for answers. I read that Elizabeth Arden purchased Paul Sebastian’s fragrances, reformulated them and watered them down. I had to face that my love affair with both fragrances was over. I’ve even been looking for vintage ones with no luck. I so wish I could still get them like they were originally😢😢Love your videos❤️❤️

I agree so much about smelling Versace Eros Pour Femme in the air. I don't love it on my skin as much, but I like spraying it on my shirt, and then hours later it wafts up into my nose and it smells great.
The only fragrance I bought from smelling it on someone else was the original Paris Hilton perfume. I smelled it on my friend at work, asked what she was wearing, rushed out after work and bought it. I still love that perfume, brings back sweet memories of my 20’s.
The black and pink bottle? That one is so good! I was very into the dark/goth aesthetic and liked deeper vanilla and amber scents in high school (still do lol) but I had a bottle of that Paris Hilton 😂 It's so good, I loved it! I should grab a bottle if they still make it

I stopped a woman leaving my Dr's office years ago, and found out she was wearing JESSICA MCLINTOCK. I bought it, wore almost exclusively for about a year. It was so different than the frag's I wore (namely YSL PARIS). I would wear it again. It does seem akward to stop someone, but it's a compliment.

On my Daughter smells beautiful ( On me as well , but it is her signature scent ! When I mis her sometimes ( when she is weekend away or something 🤔😄)- I use the Cloud 🤗🤗🤗❤️

Try layering light blue intense or even the original with a good vanilla lotion or body mist. I layer with VS bare vanilla mist. It is divine...

I had to buy Alien because of my daughter. We were sniffing the perfumes at the mall and she instantly fell in love. I gave her my samples because I just didn't care that much for it, but after smelling it on her multiple times, I had to give in! It has such a beautiful trail and comes alive in the warmer months.

Right now I am thinking about a guy I sat next to on a plane and he smelled incredible. I asked him what he was wearing and he was from Brazil so I couldn't quite understand his accent so I had him write it in my iphone's notes and he wrote "Aber Crombie", which shocked me because I associate that store with really cloying, nauseating cheap smells. I am now on fragrantica trying to narrow down which ones it could be.
Elizabeth Arden was made by a very famous perfumer - can't think if his name at the moment though but normally does high end. I'm picking up a green tea, I agree, so fresh and lovely after swimming in local pool
Its Francis Kurkdijian, you are right he has his own line called Maison Francis Kurkdijan but he also does designer perfumes like burberry her and my burberry. Green tea was one of my favourites as a teen, might have been my first or second perfume ever.

For Alien, if you still have the box you can tell if it’s reformulated or not. It the logo says thierry mugler it’s the original if it only says mugler it’s the reformulated version. At least that’s what I heard through the grapevine.. 💁🏼♂️😘
Oh my god the first one is my mom’s signature scent! She wears it when she’s on her way to work. When she wears it I know she has on her fav nude heels and pencil skirt and looking her best. It’s most def not a blind buy it’s very beautiful and classy.

Thank you for this video. D&G LB is my favorite fragrance. I’ve been wanting to smell the Intense version but my instinct told me it wouldn’t be the same. I just love how LIGHT and FRESH the original is. It’s such a SOFT scent. It seems like the Intense would be... well... too intense 😂. I’d still like to smell it. So I just got pink sugar today. I have bought it two other times and HATED it, years ago. I remember working at kohls when I was in college and a girl sprayed this at the makeup counter. I was like what the heck is that it smells SO good. And it was pink sugar. I finally decided to try it again and I am in love. Idk if I got a bad one or what but this one smells SO good
Kaleidoscope stopped me in my tracks as well and I bought the body spray. Design; I smelled it on a mother at my son's school and had to ask. She was happy to tell me and said it was all she wore and that it was inexpensive.
I have had people stop me for Fantasy by Britney Spears and Skin Musk.
Is the amazing grace the parfum or toilette? Maybe that’s why it doesn’t quite smell as strong as your friend. Makes me so mad they reformulated it. Also go to somethin special shop online and they made a scent called amazed that’s strong with a ton of reviews that say it’s exactly the same as philosophy amazing grace before reformulation. Prices are reasonable as well (less than 20 bucks). Worth trying out and would be a really fun video for you to compare it.

Typically when I am near elderly women in stores or wherever I smell a really beautiful powdery scented perfume. It seems like a lot of them wear it but I haven’t asked any of them what it is. Jenica Fajardo for myself I like another13 and for my husband I like the Santal33 I would not wear it personally but love to smell it on him. Another13 is great but is a close sitting scent I would wear it as an everyday scent but not for a night out. It does smell very good

My signature perfume was Burberry woman, withdrawn in the UK a few years ago. Happy to say back again, around last Autumn, but I feel that it is not as strong as previous version.

I smelled Design on my sister about 17 yrs ago when I was 16 and I bought it right after. Sadly it smells amazing on her but a bit grandma-ish on me lol.
HEY Amanda ...On a side note they have Not reformulated Alien ...I hear a lot of rubbish being said about it being reformulated...Mugler was owned by Clarins for Over twenty years, as an employee Seeing these comments I was not able to set the record straight NOW I can ....in Oct last year they sale agreed the Mugler brand to L’Oréal....the sale only completed last day of March ...Clarins Never reformulated Alien ..the ONLY reformulation Mugler ever did was on Aura, shortly after it launched to tone down the medical note in it.....Mugler however is now own by L’Oréal so who knows what if anything they will do with all the Mugler fragrances .....but to this point Alien Has NOT been reformulated cheers Girlie ...

Tresor by Lancome is a fragrance my mom wore a lot. I recently picked it up and I think it's been reformulated because I remember its was an oily formula and now it's more alcohol based. Still a lovely skin scent.

Amanda ! I too love perfume and books! I have been known as the “nose” among my friends and family since I was a teen but your knowledge certainly supersedes mine! I have not heard you talk about Chloe - not Chloe from 20 plus years ago but the more recent Chloe (I don’t like any of its flankers) but the original perfume - it is the most beautiful soft rose...I also love Antonia’s Flowers -Tempe Passat ...I have very little left in the bottle and am heartbroken the company is on an indefinite hiatus... just wondering if you have ever smelled that. I would venture to say it’s in my top three all time favorite perfumes.

One of my favorite summer scents is from 80's Jessica Mcclintock....so clean smelling get so many compliments. I worked with a girl that wore it... another one pure poison by Christian Dior. Smelled a lady in the mall had to ask went to macys that day and bought it. It's my absolute favorite.

Quelques Fleurs is Dita von Teese’s favorite perfume. It influenced her own 1st perfume with Luxess. My friend wore Christian Dior Poison edt and when I need confidence doing something difficult, I wear it to remind me of her.

You’re making me interested in trying the original Light Blue! I was a bit backwards & tried the Intense first based on it being recommended most, but I didn’t like it at all. I smelled the original briefly in Sephora and they smelled similar to me then, but I haven’t tried that one on skin

Green tea by E.A. gives a lot of compliments... you would never think it could. Im buying it for the summer for years. Its not much lasting, but no one minds if you splash yourself with it few times during the day :). As of the fragrance on others, for me it was Happy by Clinique. I had it once in the past, but I thought it smells like puke (must have been off), but then one colleague of mine walks arround the office and I jsut get a whiff of beautifull Lily of the Valley.... and that was it. Since then I bought it for the summer 3x.

If it’s a good one maybe you could save the real ones in your collection and still get to enjoy the smell..

I love how scents totally bring you back to specific people. My friend's older sister growing up who was also very punk rock had such an intoxicating scent every time I was around her and i ended up discovering that it was Le Feu d'Issey by Issey Miyake. My neighbor a couple years ago would smell soo good all the time, I could smell her scent like outside her apt, and I finally asked her what she was wearing and it was Comme de Garcons Incense Kyoto and I bought it immediately after! I also bought trish mcevoy sexy #9 after I smelled it on the lady cleaning my teeth haha
