Hi, Amanda! I don’t think Angel was a bomb at all or else they won’t still be selling it after all these years. It’s an acquired taste and it took me a long time to love it and my daughter was only 30 years old when she fell in love with it. I had gifted her Angel and she has gone through about 3-4 bottles in like 3 years
Chanel Eau Tendre is my signature scent, gets the most compliments. People have followed me just to ask what I'm wearing. It is beautiful and I have tried the EDP & EDT and the longevity is the same. So I opted for EDT for cost worthiness. 😁
Lalique Amethyst has another flanker called Eclat. The berries are prominent, but not overly sweet or cloying. I wore it in the summer and it was actually quite light on me with moderate projection but it still lasts like the original Amethyst. It's also very inexpensive (under $30 for 100ml) on most fragrance websites including Fragrance Net.

I buy small 🧴bottles of perfumes either 1 ounce or 1.7 ounce that I can put in my bag 👜 when I go out.
Chance Eau Tendre lasts about an hour on my skin and then it's gone. Too weak for me.

I tried la vie est Belle for the first time yesterday & found it very meh. Also tried SJP Lovely that I hear so much good about & didn't like it. I plan to get one of those Houbigant's you mentioned, which one do you think is the best?

Also have to add that Indult Tihota is my go to vanilla. Just ordered a sample of Vanilla Woods to compare because the price difference is huge. Would love to see a book and perfume combo video/s. Am a huge reader and interested in your taste in literature and favorite authors.

I get that way with Sophia Vegara’s Sophia. I just get overwhelmed by that fragrance even though it smells great. By the end of the day I’m over it and don’t want to smell it again for awhile.

A couple weeks ago I finally picked up a bottle of amethyst. I absolutely love it! It's so so so good!!!
I have a question for you. You mentioned the word Dusty a few times. I bought a bottle of first kiss from be Layered. It's supposed to be a dupe for parfums de marly delina. On my skin I get a very dusty smell from it. Do you have any idea what causes that?
BettyXO might be iris or some kind of powdery note - tonka bean can smell dusty- also sandlewood can smell dusty
I love channel chance en tendre but I wear strong perfumes but your right after a while its just too much! I have a Arabian perfume called pure musk it's so divine but it last 18 hours and projects but it smells like baby powder..its too much I over sprayed 6 sprays Is way too much.

And...I sprayed Kilian Love, Don’t be shy on my arm yesterday morning at Nords. Still smells strong on my arm. And delightful. What do you think if this scent? Any thoughts on Kilian?

No! Lol. ANGEL HAS ITS OWN AUDIENCE & Followers. This is such a beautiful perfume. U have to be sure about yourself . Not for the shy! Now Alien is a more modern sexy perfume. I just love THEIRY Mugler perfumes. They all last forever and a day.
