#1- If the kids onstage are being recognized for their birthday, that little girl should have been in her seat. As parents its our job to make sure our kid's aren't bouncing around in the way and we explain to them that they will get a chance to have time with Chuck E on their birthday or once he is done with the birthday kids which obviously happened because she took a photo with him. As you can see there were no other children in the way being an interruption. #2- If you watch the video in slow motion you can tell that Chuck E could hardly see where the kid's hands were that were on stage. He is basically moving his hand along until they give him a high five and he stops when he feels no other hands. You can clearly see that he didn't give all the kids on stage a high five and they were Caucasian children. So why did he miss those kids????? Probably because they didn't give him a high five and probably because he was getting super close to the other employee which seems to be there as a guide. Nah, I have knowledge of Mascot training and how it's done in my prior career I've worked with them. The Mascot's "helper/Assistant" has the job of aiding the Mascot in acknowledging kids that you could miss due to visibility issues and is also the guardian of the Mascot to protect them from too much attention or nefarious people. The assistant would be in collusion ignoring the little girl. -The Psychology of a Mascot- Being a Mascot is a big part of the fantasy of small children as they actually believe you are really a cartoon character in real life, they don't distinguish yet a person dressed in a costume and a cartoon they see on tv, this could be pretty damaging to a child's childhood. On another note, I do want to know why the other little girls were up on the stage inline and the other little girl was on the floor dancing and jumping around though.
So many excuses. There was a lady who was right there and could have assisted Chuck E Cheese with seeing all of the kids if that was the issue. However, she just stood there. It is clear that the little girl was ignored by both parties.
No it is isn't clear. You PRETENDING to know what the person saw isn't rooted in reality. It's pure speculation coming from the mainstream media professional victims.
I do agree that the mother should have been more strict on her kid in terms of interrupting the party, but its not like she was being completely disruptive and acting crazy toward the group; she was just excited to see Chuck. He could have just given her a quick high-five and kept it moving. The mother was sort of in the wrong, but Chuck was being a real tool here. The comments Im reading here are just as disgusting.

Now for those of you who don't know, when you celebrate your birthday at Chuck E cheese's, YOU are the star of the show!" The actor is supposed to be addressing the children on the stage, the loudspeaker audio is addressed specifically to them, their parents paid to have the mascot interact with them and make them the focus of the event.

Money grab and the harsh lesson is teaching a child to think like this
#1- If the kids onstage are being recognized for their birthday, that little girl should have been in her seat. I'm a black woman with a black daughter and I think this is a bit of a reach. I think that girl should have been in a seat with her mom instead of being in the way. The Mascot's "helper/Assistant" has the job of aiding the Mascot in acknowledging kids that you could miss due to visibility issues and is also the guardian of the Mascot to protect them from too much attention or nefarious people. The assistant would be in collusion ignoring the little girl.
-The Psychology of a Mascot-
Being a Mascot is a big part of the fantasy of small children as they actually believe you are really a cartoon character in real life, they don't distinguish yet a person dressed in a costume and a cartoon they see on tv, this could be pretty damaging to a child's childhood.
On another note,
