They don’t need to retire the women’s tag title, they just need to book the few teams they have strong and still bring a women’s mid card title
It’s kinda crazy that NXT got a midcard Women’s Championship before the main roster. I really want them to bring in a Women’s US or IC title and just ditch the Tag Team titles

I don’t think it’s crazy they got it first. I think it was very purposeful. Using NXT as a place to experiment with new ideas like that BEFORE bringing it to the main roster. We’ll just have to see how it goes from here on out.

I've heard a really cool idea that the tag champs should split up without dropping the tag titles, then have a match to unite the titles into one belt, therefore creating a women's midcard title.
That time when Randy lost the WWE title to the GOAT Jinder. Those few months Jinder was champ, he brought back the prestige to title.

Jinder was just a failed marketing move trying to get market in India. Whoever decided having them watch WWE would be a good idea. They usually dont fare good around women.

9:15 Nope when I think of great cruiserweight title match I think of Rey vs Matt Hardy in 2003 when Rey won it on smackdown. That was one of my favorite matches. Rey and Tajiri was great to nothing to take away from it.

The European Championship At Least Had At Least Half A Dozen HOF In It's Lineage

One thing ima say is that if it was not for Alberto's run with it we wouldn't have enjoyed him and his announcer so much tbh his theme has to be up there for the best themes to play when you've won something it makes anything feel even greater what went bad for him imo was when they started giving him lackluster opponents like swagger then try to make amends quick by putting him up against cm punk but the gap between swagger and punk is too big so nobody was gonna see Alberto as a prominent guy to face punk even in the storyline with him punk was decimating him on the mic even though Alberto is decent on the mic too but for some reason when it came to punk they'd make it disappear for him and the matches were fine till they removed the slight cheating gimmick he had (if there was a moment to cheat he would take it 50% of the time) which used to add to the hype but they turned it into an "every time he tries to cheat it backfires on him and he loses"
The Women’s Tag titles better be on this list because they don’t mean shit

The first title I thought of was European Title. How Shawn Michaels really didn't care to have it & just gave it to HHH in the most DX way lol.
Triple H sold when he unifed the nxt womens tag team championship with the ones on the main roster. Generally, the teams just have been put together. Having the nxt womens tag championships would devolop great tag teams to invest in. Like alba Fire and isla dawn, who were the tag teams champs and was worth looking into since they were an actual tag team
You never want to unify titles for a weak division and then take a title away from the division whi generates future stars
The issue with the Women's Tag Titles is simply that all the women who hold it (outside of maybe Katana Chance and Kayden Carter) are just makeshift Tag Teams. The women's division doesn't have a lineage of legitimate women's Tag Teams for it to feel like it's an actual division that's doing more than just putting two singles wrestlers together. The wrestling business as a whole needs to put more focus on women who actually become and team and work that way for most of their career...build actual Women's Tag Teams.

I disagree with the WWE title being on this list. Jinder didn’t remove the prestige of the title. The title only elevated Jinder but it couldn’t elevate him to its level because there was not enough work done prior to the reign. No one thought it was unbelievable and criminal that Jinder picked up the US title after it happened. That is testament to it elevating him, and losing any rub.
I'm surprised they didn't bring up WWE'S ECW title.
Idk bout yall but i liked the cw championship. I still remember Noble, Helms, Tajiri and V1 Matt Hardys run with it. The fueds Chavo and Rey used to have... It brought us some good stuff. Then they started getting stupid 🤦🏿♂️

Think about this. What if Cody won the WWE title from Roman but he still holds the universal champion. That way when he comes back and still holds the belt he could jump passed Hogan and no one complaining that he's gone cause nobody knew the title got split again.
Sadly I remember when Hornswoggle won the cruiserweight belt.
The Universal Championship is still active Cody Rhodes is regonised as both WWE and Universal Chamion all they did was drop the name after WrestleMania
As for the women tag team title the WWE need to bring move diverse women talent light high flyers like hardys power houses like the brothers of destruction and etc
so basically they are kinda doing the same thing with solo. Just line mahal guy he did nothing but lose. Then all of a sudden they want you to look at him as if hes some unstoppable force. That shit is hard to pull off if they dont at least give them a couple really good match wins. Then make the transition. Think thats another reason people arent feeling solo right now, but after last nights smackdown he has some promise and he just needs to work on his talking cause I think hes getting there

Unpopular opinion. When Roman does return, I think it would be best if he went after the US, IC and tag titles for a bit.
He's a grand slam but these are titles he's not very memorable with and if you mix it into the bloodline feud... ohhhh it'll be something different.

This one of the things I hated that we would do. They will care more about pushing jokes or gimmicks than what made sense. Like they would have actual wrestlers who been with company for awhile and the fans loved but they would rarely or never get title shots.
I think a women's midcard title on the main roster is a bad idea, look how they treat the women's tag titles now it won't be any different with a midcard title for them, yeah it will be booked well for a while but it will fall off eventually. I'm all for a women's midcard title in NXT tho it will work best there which I think is a test to see if they want one on the main roster
They did not put the Women's Tag titles on Jade and Bianca to elevate the titles. It's just building to the break up. No One cares about those titles.
Speaking of which, Why hasn't WWE made a Women's US or IC Championship???

I thought bray with the universal title was pretty good, the matches with Bryan and when he beat seth for it was pretty cool, but Roman did make it a lot good since ole what's his face tried to bury almost anything about professional wrestling
They missed on the early days of the European Chip. HBK didn’t care about it. The hoax title match between him & HHH, while hilarious, was not a good look for that belt, imo.
Imo, wwe shoudnt just outright ditch the womens tag titles
They need to have and invest in a decent and strong womens tag division. Now that Jade and Bianca have the straps, hopefully they will pay more cate to that segment of the product

I disagree with the tag title take. Went on random people that never a team a month before winning or brought back as a team years later. the wrestlemania note, they were a team before, but as soon as the title reign was over, they were no longer a team period. Just like Awesome truth. Does anyone think they will be a team once their reign ends? Just hope A-Town Down last a good while.
