This situation is so ridiculous that Nike is afraid to have Caitlin Clark be more popular than Aja. Its not just the WNBA that panders to the players. Intentional or not, I wouldn't feel right having her as a teammate next year when she went and posted such a video not long after the incident transpired. Any member of the team would likely still be feeling a bit down after losing that series, having made it into the post season for the franchise after such a long drought. Phil Jackson did it right when he treated Kobe Bryant with kid gloves, preventing any other players on the team from hazing him. You don't want to risk pissing off your meal ticket and having them consider other options.
