Erniebert is 90% responsible for this bad refereeing n. After the last 2 Fever versus aces games and the first Suns versus Fever playoff game, I knew the referees were compromised and definitely not afraid to show it. They had no fear of punishment from Erniebert. Even NBA players are calling this out. I've only seen lowlights of the playoffs after the first Suns/ Fever game because of the bad refereeing and it has only gottenm worse as the playoffs continued. Most leagues choose the best referees for the playoffs. If this is the best the WNBA has to offer, they all should be fired because it cannot get worse.

Nobody gave 2 shits about refereeing during the season when players were getting fouled and nothing was called. What changed for the finals: shitty refs are shitty refs, regular season, playoffs, or chsmpionship.
If the fans wanted 'physicality', they would watch rugby football. They want the league to draw more viewers, remove the 'physicality' by calling proper fouls and just let the players' skills rise to the top. That way you have a faster game with higher scores and only players with real skills will get to play.

the basic refs' game plan has been always the same all the season long, the team planned to loose heavily charged of fouls in the first quarter or half and negating them whistles to drive them crazy under the skin all the game. The WNBA has always had the worst Refs in the World. In any other league, they would not be able to officiate because they are so bad it's a disgrace to the game itself. Game 5 was won by the Refs, not by NY Liberty. It was a disgraceful performance by the Refs, and the WNBA needs to address this issue now and ensure that nothing like this happens again.
It happened all season. Kinda perfect that the season ended like this. Maybe the problem should have been fixed earlier.

the basic refs' game plan has been always the same all the season long, the team planned to loose heavily charged of fouls in the first quarter or half and negating them whistles to drive them crazy under the skin all the game. It has been repetitive against Fever's AB and then LH , obviously negating whistles to CC and worst, every time they played against Lynx and Sun. wnba is a bunch of woke snakes.
