Many of these people probably do not operate machinery like this irl, so this is a welcome change of pace. Especially since any hiccups aren't relevant at all, like that truck failing to unload it's side-tilting bed because the little lego bits stacked too well.
I played with Lego kits since my early child days until I was about 11 or 12. I had many sets between 1988 and 1999. I built many of my own ideas too. Yet I'm still always amazed by how versatile this toy is.
I know. I'm in my 50's, LEGOs have changed so much in all these years, it's pretty amazing. But the one thing that hasn't changed is how expensive they are. Might as well be gold. LEGOs are are valuable, one of the most versatile building materials. That just adds to the inherent cost of the plastic. I don't know how these people afford these projects.
yes, it is expensive and the sets are more expensive each year. I buy only a few sets and always after 1-1.5 years after the release with big discounts. But it is still expensive.
This is what I would want from any Lego experience that I would go to. Forget Legoland, just give me an exhibit hall full of "rock" bricks and tons of construction equipment.
I'm surprised this still goes on, Glad to see leo creation still being shown. Wish they have that in the States.. but with so much happening I guess not. Awesome creation and models as well working lego models too.
This Lego stuff seems interesting. They seem to have room to improve but I imagine, if they keep at it, they could become a competition to Cobi, Cada or even Mould King.
Amazing!!! We had also a area for RC trucks and cranes on our expo Bricks-and-More in Geel (Belgium). Looking forward to meet new and other trucks and cranes next year. Good job Bricking Bavaria!!!!
Pretty cool, love the long hood ( Boot ? ) American/Australian style over the road tractors. That chemical tanker was cool, I used to pull one of those. The EPA dumb ass regulations got to be a pain in the butt. I got out of it and went back to bulk tanker hauling flour.
Funny to see @ 10:31 the Siemens Transformer. I worked there in Nuernberg, it was the 1100kv Record trafo. The Transport 1:1 as this Lego-Build. I checked my pictures.
I don't know whether it wa son purpose or not but it is difficult to build Amrican style dump trailer with working dump mechanism since these are usually longer and therefore harder to lift for LEGO motors.
31 years old and still like a little kid when I see this 😁👍🏻 A lot of oooooh's and aaaaaah's. Only no mommy to buy it for me 😂 Gotta buy it myself now🤣
Pretty neat. My only recommendation (coming from RC) would be to slow down your servos on the steering to make it look more realistic... twitchy wheel turns to full lock in 0.045 seconds looks... odd hehe, also a soft start ESC to bring the power on gently would improve acceleration in the same way.
hi, totally agree with you. Unfortunately, we don't have so nice radios as you have in RC. In LEGO it works with bluetooth and with camecontroller. We are allready happy if servo motors are available and work properly. Theoretical it should be programable what you mean. But this is out of reach with my coding skills ;)
@@functionalTechnic Ah I wondered about that. Your explanation makes sense. I was thinking one might be able to use common RC components and 3d print adapters to clip into Lego bricks, I've done that with Raspberry Pi components and it works great! But there might not be the space, idk...
@@ec5838 you can do alot custom stuff and i'm sure it would be possible to control the model with raido control but it would be alot of effort to make it for each model. But the control and range would be much better fore sure
@@ec5838 i have bit of experience with rc, lego and coding. The main issue is that there aren't many well-built _physical_ controllers that can interface by themselves with the lego receivers (transceivers, really). But! now that lego has given the specification for the bluetooth comm protocol, it is quite likely you will see diy radios that use sticks, instead of using a phone and its touchscreen. The difference in controllability between even a cheap electric rc and the best lego rc is night and day. The lego one is almost uncontrollable.
Unlike real dump trucks, these Lego Tehcnic dump trucks have real breaks that actually work instead of rear ending you while you are stopped at the red light

Hi, there will be another video which will show my model more on detail at the exhibition. But other than that the next video about LEGO exibition will follow next year at the same time. I can't wait for the next exhibition
@@functionalTechnic thanks for your time to answer my question but can you also tell where and when this next exhibition will take place? In order IF it still take place with all this Corona pandemic, but hey let’s stay positive and let’s hope there will be many more! 🦾💪🏻👍 thanks again.
In Germany, Switzerland and Austria there are several exhibitions. not for all the dates are published at the moment. But I will most likely join the Modellbaumesse Ried (www.modellbau-ried.at/) and Bricking Bavaria in Fürth next year (date not published at the moment).
there were a few official LEGO Technic sets on the area but most of the model are built from scratch or according to instructions of other model builder
no, most of the mocs in this video you cannot build from LEGO sets. But check this rebrickable.com/users/M_longer/mocs/ There you can find some well working alternate model you can build from lego sets
based on what i know from my builds i own how are there no bluetooth interferance from other peoples modles running also are these run on the standard lego batery pack or a power cell pack
I love how Germans chill and have fun at the same time it's still related to work and heavy machineries.
Many of these people probably do not operate machinery like this irl, so this is a welcome change of pace. Especially since any hiccups aren't relevant at all, like that truck failing to unload it's side-tilting bed because the little lego bits stacked too well.
Man Lego's have come a long way since I was a kid, all we had the option for back then was to build bricks. The technic functions are awesome as fuck.
I played with Lego kits since my early child days until I was about 11 or 12. I had many sets between 1988 and 1999. I built many of my own ideas too. Yet I'm still always amazed by how versatile this toy is.
Something about this is so adorable, all the cute little trucks just going around doing their thing
This is not lego. This is just talented engineers working with low tolerances and fewer specifications. Wonderful stuff.

This is a man's dream right here.. to be surrounded by living Legos. This is insane!
Wow. My kids and i would have a field day with all that lego. A lot of time and effort gone into building all those.
I love looking at the miniatures of these projects and vehicles
This place is amazing! The models look great and the fact they're motorized makes it even better!
Right about .5x playback speed seems like the sweet spot to make things flow at real time if it was all full size
there is not a place in the world more befitting this kind of horseplay than good ole workin' germany

This is what Legoland SHOULD look like
the original one in Billund is way bigger and more detailed, but with less technic. I think we rather need a Lego-Technic-Land.
