    This is not only an impressive Lego Technic feat, but also a lesson in how a gearbox functions. I really love the two types of load-testing you have at the end and I appreciate how you collected data points and graphed them out. I think the only thing missing is a nice technic mount using rods and tires to hold the tachometer in place right next to the wheel so you don't have to hold it with your hand.

    • @michaelmullen3923
      @michaelmullen3923 Рік тому +1

      but how? its an electric motor, wouldn't it just top out at the same max speed than without the gearbox? the only thing it shows is every gear has a different rpm which uh... that doesn't really happen in a normal car so I don't think it's a good lesson on how a gearbox functions
      but it is pretty cool

    Nothing has ever helped me understand how gear shifting works in a car than this video, and it's made me understand why it's even called "gear shifting". And from a Lego video no less.

    Who would of thought that humans could develop the internet so we could have a full grown man playing with legos. It does have some educational value.

    This vid shows the importance of a clutch. In future it would be cool to see him rebuild this with a clutch system
