Thank you for speaking up your mind. I know it takes a lot of courage and character to express your feeling about this in a public channel. I really like your guitar courses but now I like you more as a human being. 😆 👍
Great song and lesson, thank you! Not slamming your voice, but it just reminds me how amazing Dolores O'Riordan as an artist was. Rest easy Dolores you are missed.
Simple but stunningly beautiful song which carries a very powerful, topical and poignant message. Who knows, someday the world may listen. Great lesson, as ever.
Wow! What a great lesson. Such great examples of strumming variations to bring incredibly different sounds for these three simple chords. Thanks Justin, and also for your heartfelt introduction. Cheers.
Great tune and unfortunately relevant today. I actually learned to play with dynamics from this song. I set up my amp at the edge of breakup and let it rip on the chorus but pull way back for the verse. Just wanted to mention the original recording is about 20 cents sharp (A ≈ 445 Hz). There are some A = 440 Hz versions floating around UA-cam. 🇺🇸 🇺🇦
"That man's a F****r", love it, bravo Justin. Good effort with the vocal too, first time I've ever heard a male voice take it on. Keep up the good work.
@James Declerk I didn't make any comment about any of the leaders you mentioned. I happen to agree with your sentiments on Iraq, all war is wrong. All I did was congratulate Justin on his freedom of speech which is something everyone is entitled to. Perhaps you are not familiar with freedom of speech? Give my love to Vlad x
@James Declerk Mate, it's a guitar lesson channel, I think you'd be better off shouting at people on some other media outlet. I also think you need to have a think about who's the parrot, it works both ways you know. Say hi to Vlad x
@James Declerk perhaps you need to have a grown up discussion with Justin then? I'm just a crap guitar player who happens to like what was said. What I said earlier about freedom of speech still stands. You calling me stupid because I have a different view to you says more about you than it does about you. How come your account is entirely blank and was only created a month ago? Tell Vlad that I still have the negatives and Mrs Medvedev doesn't know anything about it 😉
@James Declerk Are you still here? Haven't you got anyone else to make assumptions about? You don't even know what democracy I'm in. Tell Vlad that Big Boncho is busy on Friday night and he says he's not doing 'that' again x 🌈
Love it Justin! I’ve been listening to this song quite a bit since Feb 24th. Appreciate you teaching us how to play it! Pls add Jack Johnson’s version of Imagine to your tutorial library. Thank you kind sir!

Some great advice there Justin! As you say this is an amazing song, and really easy to play ( but not sing in a high key) , but great advice on how to 'colour' a tune ! There is a little 'riff' in the song there that you may have missed! Many thanks dx
Really great, although , this was one of the songs i used learning guitar playing many many years ago . This version of urs reaaly makes it less boring. Thanx.
Absolutely love your videos, mate and I learn a lot of songs according to your lessons. Yesterday, as I listened to this song with my gf, I said, "I saw that Justin dropped a lesson on this song, but it's long. The song is just 4 chords of pumping 8s, soooooo boring - how will that make a good lesson? I guess I have something to look at tonight." Justin never fails to impress. Of course, you emphasized the dynamics!! Brilliant. And so wholeheartedly agree with your opening comments - my heart breaks for our war-torn world. You're a class act, Justin, an impressive human being!

Sound a bit like Disarm by The Smashing Pumpkins. Both are great sounds by the way.

Thank you from Ukraine for your kind words Justin. It's nice and refreshing to see a public persona not being scared of expressing his opinion.

Thank you so much, you just saved me from doing the same boring strum pattern throughout the whole song from other vids 😂😂
Just in time for the zombie holiday known as "easter." I see what you did here. Well played!

Amazing tutorial! Really appreciate your expressed support! Lots of love and gratitude from Ukraine
I’ve only seen Justin get angry 2 times: once on a live stream, when someone made a rude comment about disabled people, and here.
Great video but I'm still having trouble with the picking technique, do you have another video that explains this method in more detail? Thanks!
