I really appreciate that you showed how it is harvested. Such hard work! They were so expensive in Europe that people would rent them for parties!! I am always glad when Aunty Sobia enjoys the food of the day. And my favorite way to have pineapple is in stir fry.

Since I know they love mangos maybe you can make a pineapple/mango smoothie or something that has both together. It's a great combination!

Mango and pineapple go great together. Also, pineapple and mango taste great with ice cream *
And when you have a whole pineapple, you can twist the green top off, peel back a few bottom leaves and root it in water. You can then have your own pineapple producing plant
Make sure you get all the yellow off down to the white so it doesn't rot.
i travel a lot in southeast asia and i alway buy different tropical fruits & make a fruit salad. i love it..mango is king of fruit i agree

Pineapple and kiwi fruit both have enzymes which tenderise meat. Therefore a number of people become allergic to them. I'm one of them. I love both, but if I eat even a small amount now, it's like I drank boiling water and my mouth burns for several days. I can eat them cooked or dried as long as they are completely dry, as that destroys the enzymes. A very sweet pineapple - often the ones with rough (serrated) leaves - is a thing of joy. They are not as tart in flavour.
One of the few fruits that can be canned and retain much of their fresh quality.

No reason why they cannot grow pineapples in Pakistan.
It is a shame the fresh pineapple is not available there I only eat the canned form in salad... but it is nothing like she sharp fresh bite of fresh pineapple. The name pineapple is a bt of an outlier... most languages call it ananas
Were they served canned pineapple? The angle made it tough to tell but the bits looked too small and the color a bit off of most fresh sliced.

I have tried to grow several in arid Montana and have never been successful. I think you need humidity.
