  • In this video, I show you how I make the seamless join when attaching amigurumi parts.
I hope this helps you with attaching amigurumi ears, arms, and legs.

    What we will go over-
-Start with inserting the yarn needle through one stitch of the head.
-Insert the needle through the single crochet post of the last round of the ear, parallel to the stitch made on the head.
-Continue around the entire ear, forming a series of stitches that look like a ladder.
-Every few stitches make sure to pull enough to hide the ladder-looking stitches, turning them into a seamless join.
-When finished, insert the needle to meet the other end of the yarn.
    -Secure with a knot.
-Use a crochet hook to weave the ends inside the head.

This is amazing! A very useful method with a very straight forward tutorial. I like that you used a project with chunky yarn so it's easy to see exactly what you're doing.

This was THE most helpful video I watched! A neighbor asked if I could crochet an amigurumi frog. She brought me the pattern but it gave some random pictures, which were of NO assistance to a first timer, neither were her pattern instructions elsewhere. I got more information from this video than any other video I watched do, thank you! Now if I could just find the same assistance in adding the smile & the 3 pearl ‘necklace’ to the project. 😂

Thank you for that video! I am just getting into making amigurumi. My first two are not gift worthy🤪. I lovingly refer to them as "Frankenstein babies". I am hoping this will help make my projects a little better.
