Amazing work! How long did it take? This is the best routine I have found, been training with it for the last month or so and definitely seen a difference.
@@melissatranfield4054 I was quite close when I started and did it for a month around 4-5 times a week which was a bit too intense for me. I took a 2 weeks break and somehow got it on my first day trying again lol. I managed to do it another time but now I'm stuck again. Guess I still need a lot of work before I can do it consistently :)
@@Seiikyaphotoshop Yes, that is completely right. When you start getting your splts it come sin patches. One day you have then and then they re gone for a bit. Usually good days where you feel more flexible will be either after a break, on a hot day, in the evening and some women find they are more flexible while on their period. :)
Stumbled on this video because I needed something to switch up my stretching routine, and oh boy was this a fantastic find: a top-drawer stretching routine, science-based knowledge, timer on screen, cues for correct positioning, pleasant music (not too loud), and a friendly face to deliver it all! It has everything I was looking for (and need). It kicked my ass though!!! Such a long way to go for me, especially on my front splits. Thanks again for such high-quality content. You just got another subscriber. Much appreciated Aleks!
hey, I just did this routine and it felt great. I am a beginner in splits but I would love to sit on a split someday. is these routine targeting beginners as well, or is it more towards intermediate/advanced level of splits? thank you
Does working on your quads e.g leg extensions, squats, leg presses etc help with getting the splits as it increases leg strength in that area? Love this routine, thank you so much!
Thank you so Much for this routine! I have been trying to get my splits for over 2 years, and I have always been close, but then I overstretch. After doing this I already got very close, and I’m literally almost there. I also don’t feel like I’ve overstretched, which I often feel like I do, so that’s a BIG plus for me ;). It’s also perfect that we train both the middle and side splits in one video, cuz I always do that anyway. I will update on if I’m gonna get the splits. 👍
A very interesting routine. Extremely challenging, but also stimulating. I want to reach both my front split and middle split. I will repeat this Routine many times which I think is one of the best that I have been able to try on youtube. Thank you so much!!!!
@@stretchandtrain Thanks a lot for your interest. Unfortunately I'm still a long way from reaching my Middle Split. I have to proceed step by step with targeted exercises on opening the hips. With the Front Split they are in a greater state of progress. I am convinced that I can reach it by 2023. Especially with the left foot forward. Thank you so much!!!🙏
@@francescorossi1237 Amazing! Middle splits can be tough because of the way people's hips are structured. Really good to hear you are staying motivated though and taking it slow! Great front split info !! yay
@@stretchandtrain I don't know what my maximum reach from my Middle Split might be, but rest assured that I won't give up until I reach it. With moderation and calm, but also decisively and consistently.
For me getting my splits has been a journey. In the summer I stretched every day for three months, wasn’t making any progress, and finally barely got my splits. Then I gave up and lost them however I decided to stretch them again for summer intensive auditions and got my right split in just three days! Wow! I cannot believe it! This stretching routine is fantastic five stars! Lol Tysm!
I'm 52. Trying to get in shape. Just went through this video for the first time. Forgive me, but I thought this stretching would be easy for someone my age. I was wrong. I wasn't even close to the range of motion you have. So here begins the journey. See you tomorrow morning again.
This stretch feels great and effective. My right hamstring (i.e. right leg which is still trying to get to the floor) felt really stretched for the 1st time. I am 24years old, I took flexible stretches, stretching for front and middle splits seriously this year and I can't wait to see how much progress I will make after practicing with your stretches😊. Some days are stressful for me and I decide not to push it. I hope that's ok?
hi i already got my splits with the other one my aim is to get it on the one that is more painfull on not much but tysm for this tut and help hope evryoe is now motivated with there splits its relaxing when u go into them like if u agree and got them :)
Thank you. I have lots of stamina and strength and love Training that but stretching is more challenging for me. Really enjoyed this as much as I can enjoy stretching. Again thank you😊
Hi Clara, This is how I usually structure my own leg stretching workouts and it works like magic 💗 Update me sometime on how you go with this routine over time ☺️
@@stretchandtrain Still love it! I lost a bit of progress with my splits but with this routine I got it back. I never did much PNF stretching and I think that was my mistake. Especially the first hamstring stretch worked great for me. I also love the warmup for the specific muscles! I'm definitely gonna implement this into most of my stretching rounttines in the future
This is quite an intense routine so two times per week complemented with shorter 5-15 min gentle stretching is great for starts. After a while you can do this 3 times but would not recommend more than 4 as your legs need to rest to progress :) Let me know how you go
Ok I'm going to try to do this routine 2-3x/week! W1D1: wow this was hard!! Did it after a run so I didn't go super hard on the warmup, I appreciate it was in there tho. Currently am one squished squishmallow height off the ground in both front splits and one clothing bin off the ground for middle splits. I took loottttts of breaks in this one 😅
Most trainers just do explanations for the deepest stretch. I really like that you take a moment to talk through the proper form for people who are less advanced. I have an additional question though. If I wanted to make this more intense, would I just re-do your training without the warmups? Or should I be limiting the amount of stretching per day to just the 30 minutes?
