@@laughsandwich3842 if you got purchases on day 1 that’s a great sign. Just keep it running even if you got nothing on day 2. If still nothing on day 3, then dupe it to a fresh campaign and try 1 last day.
@@HiphopKim-l9u in most cases, it’s pretty easy to judge if an ad will do well at just $5 spent. If fb is giving a crazy high cpm and your cpc’s are too high, it’s unlikely it will get any better if you spend more.
@@taysthetic So, what you're saying is that the chances of a poorly performing CPM or CPC improving drastically are slim, and instead of expecting that, it’s better to test with $5 and move on to testing a different ad set?
@@HiphopKim-l9u a high CPM/CPC is in indicator that you need to test better creatives. So rather than just testing new adsets, you should test new creatives as well to try to improve it. in the day 2, you killed the adset 2 and 4. and in the day 3, you said to run all the adsets. Do you mean all the 5 adsets till the spend upto 30$ or just for the adset 1,3 and 5? (excluding the adset 2 and 4 that you killed in the day 2)
see 13:56 in the video. i explained that you wouldn't necessarily have all 5 adsets running on Day 2 and Day 3. only keep the adsets running that have survived based on the rules for each day. ex. you might have 3 adsets that run on Day 2 and only end up having 2 adsets running on Day 3. hope that makes sense.
I have a question what if the ad brings in a purchase on the first day? Should I scale it immediately, or wait until the third day and then scale it? Best regards, you make great videos, keep it up!
you should still wait at least 2-3 days to ensure you're still getting purchases. sometimes getting a purchase early on can be a fluke and you don't want to scale too quickly

Then on the third day its stops performing. Where 10 conversions comes on day one it goes 1 to 2 conversions on day third. I need a guide, if you are free, I'm interested in getting your insights. Would you be available for a consultation call?
Good video man. Please answer this for all the community: Wouldn't it be better to let the winning test ad running and just delete the adsets that didn't work, then increase budget and scale? Is there a reason for you to create a new campaign from scratch? I thought it takes 3 days for Meta to finish the learning phase... I am just a curious beginner what can you tell me
@@AydaCeron-yd2jd the learning phase is reached when you get 50 purchases a week - but that’s pretty impossible when you’re just starting. So don’t worry too much about that. Duplicating to a a fresh new campaign is just a principle i’ve always followed since i started in 2017. It’s usually better to start a fresh campaign at a higher budget rather than increasing the old testing ad set budget. Whenever you increase the budget of an existing adset by more than 20%, it will usually reset the learning anyway
Hey bro, thank you for all the wisdom. Just curious, is there a more efficient way that youd recommend for someone with more disposable capital? Would I be able to attain a larger audience reach with more starting capital for the test runs following the same protocol, or are there a few things that you would change?
@@ArifKhan-zb6fg i’d say even if you have the capital, i would still follow a simple low budget strategy like this just to avoid burning too much money for no reason. The key indicators i always look for when testing with fb ads are my CPM and CPC. If those are extremely high within just around $5 spent, I can almost guarantee that it will not improve and that i need to test better creatives or move onto another product. But if you really do want to spend more money to get data faster, then $20/day per adset is a good starting point. Or you can test with $10 with 10 adsets instead of 5 adsets as shown on this video
But this varies, right? If my product´s more expensive I have to increase my budget or wait 2-4 days before making the KILL or No-KILL decision? Please correct me @taysthetic!
yes, it is relative to the product price. but you can generally still follow the strategy of this video. whether you run $10/day or $20/day, you should let it spend 50% of it's budget before looking at ATC's and purchases on day 2 and day 3
if one of the ads in the adset has good metrics, then i might re launch another adset just with that ad to see if it can perform better according to my 3 day metric rules.
I lost like $40 dollars on the day 1 with Facebook ads. Then Facebook disabled my account because this was the daily spending limit. Now I have reduced the daily budget to $5 dollars. Do you think Facebook burns money if new ad account try to test aggressively?
You can do 5 ad groups on tiktok if you have the budget. I made 3 ad groups for the course video since the minimum budget is $20 for tiktok and i wanted to show a strategy for ppl with less budget.
@@erdemhanci75829 if you're talking about tiktok, then just do 3 broad ad groups for the first CBO. once you reach higher budgets, you can test 5 ad groups for the CBO. the amount of ads per ad group depends on which ones got the best results from the testing campaign. only use those ads for your scaling CBOs
it's most likely not ready for scaling and needs more data/purchases on the pixel at a lower budget. you might also need to test stronger creatives as well

What does it mean when you have 7 add to carts and 6 purchases on the first day from a total of 3 of the five adsets and the no ad to carts or purchases on the second day from those same three adsets
Edit: I ended up leaving them and got two purchases in the middle of the night..it was a bit hard to choose the ads that weren’t doing well because although we had no purchases the cpm was around $8 and CPC was less than .40
@@laughsandwich3842 if you got purchases on day 1 that’s a great sign. Just keep it running even if you got nothing on day 2. If still nothing on day 3, then dupe it to a fresh campaign and try 1 last day.
are you using manual or advantage plus shopping campaign for this test
Hello, I want to know how you know that your product has worked and is definitely selling in advertising and in the testing phase ?
Thanks brother it helps a lot
I have a question. Isn't it too early to judge only after spending $5?
@@HiphopKim-l9u in most cases, it’s pretty easy to judge if an ad will do well at just $5 spent. If fb is giving a crazy high cpm and your cpc’s are too high, it’s unlikely it will get any better if you spend more.
@@taysthetic So, what you're saying is that the chances of a poorly performing CPM or CPC improving drastically are slim, and instead of expecting that, it’s better to test with $5 and move on to testing a different ad set?
@@taysthetic And if the CPM or CPC results are poor after spending $5, you’re saying that spending more money won’t easily improve them. Am I right?
@@HiphopKim-l9u a high CPM/CPC is in indicator that you need to test better creatives. So rather than just testing new adsets, you should test new creatives as well to try to improve it.
And yes, if it’s super high within $5 spent, it usually will not get better (in my experience). Every winning product/ad i’ve ever scaled always had good CPC/CPM within just a few bucks spent - because that means my creative was strong enough even for a smaller audience.
@@taysthetic Hi Tay, thanks so much for your kind help! I'm currently outsourcing videos on Fiverr, and I'm only getting 3 videos per product. In this case, should I just test the 3 best videos I have and move on to the next product if they don't perform well?
Great video bro 🎉
Just a quick question: if you want to test a service should you follow the same steps and why not use TikTok as validation?
you can use tiktok for testing too! i have tutorials on that on my channel as well. see my latest 2 hour ecom course video
@@taysthetic thank you for your response ❤️
How do I add the comment bubble to my ads. It isnt something capcut offers I believe, which is the program I am making my ads with

Tay, I didn't got the part from 17:38
To the end of CBO . What I have to do? I didn't got it.Can you please explain?
Straight to the fucking point. New sub brother

13:23 testing new creatives on a new set of ads or duplicating one of the ones with bad/good metrics and just changing the creative?
one of best video i have ever seen on youtube bro. Thank you so much. Give you a subscribe
Your content is fantastic 🔥 Question: Do you ever scale up the budget of winning ad sets within your ABO testing campaign? Or do winners get turned off after being moved to the scaling campaign? Thanks man!
@@LeadTitanLLC-yx7rx i always keep old ad sets running as long as they are profitable. And yes, i will increase the budgets on them as well!
What’s ads objective for test
Hey brother! First of all really appreciate the content and I've been somewhat succesfully using your strategies for my own personal brand. Nothing major yet but hopefully it will snowball soon. I am using this strategy for my own brand of sportswear that I design and produce(overseas), so definitely different from dropshipping. I don't actually think there is any downsides of applying this strategy for dropshipping for a 'brand' but was wondering what your thoughts are?
Anyhow really love the content and thank you for helping the people out man!
Very good video 🤙🏾
appreciate it
I tried this out, but I don't think there was enough people seeing the videos for me, I was at $30 total and I only had a couple clicks
You have to spend atleast 3X your product, for example 50$ product 150$ ads in order to know if your product is a winning one or not 😀
Thank you for this valuable information! I really appreciate it! There is something I would love to know if you could provide us with it later, if you show us how do we find reliable suppliers ?
Amazing video ..can you make a video on zendrop ? Is it worth it? Have heard they have high shipping cost
Hey Tay! I really need some advice. I did exactly this and achieved my target cpa and a scaleable ROAS in 4 days. However since duplicating the campaign and putting more ads out to test I have received barely any sales. Why could this be?
Y make fb Ads Easy. Thanks for taking the time to explain us this
can i use 4 creatives instead of 3 for each ad set? or does it have to be 3.
@@broitsjose yes you can do 4 if you want
So it's not $50.00 total and you use 3 days to get a sale so it's around $150.00
@@nelsonflores5757 you gotta spend some to make some
@@taysthetic yes, don't get me wrong, your info is very valuable however it would be nice if you shared the whole picture, not a click bait saying it would take $50 only because it's not $50 only.
I love you bro. you are an angel
thank you
Would you have the same approach towards UK and other European countries? Or would you just do broad ?
@@paulius_ze i would go broad or stack multiple broad interests together for countries outside US. But broad is mainly fine
@@taysthetic Thanks. I was thinking maybe have a creative test ABO, where I test all the creatives on a broad audience, and then move the best performers to advantage plus shopping and increase the budget by 20% if profitable? Something like that
@@paulius_ze yes that’s a great strategy bro
hey buddy, thank you for your amazing informative video, In the end when we will create the CBO campaign then we have to close the previous campaign (with original audience with low budget), because they also getting the purchase, I have this confusion or If I can still run them and slightly also increasing there budgets, can you tell me please? I understood all but in the end lines I got confused
did you find the answer for this?
@ yes
CBO campaign must have 3 adsets?
What should you start with tt or FB ads
@@creativevisions5288 test both if you have the budget. if i had to choose one (as a beginner), it would probably be tiktok due to lower cpm’s
Bro my shopify payment payouts are showing next payouts 0:00 and all payment are pending for over 3 days and shopify support says is everything alright but I don't think so, did you also have something like this? 🤔
in the day 2, you killed the adset 2 and 4.
and in the day 3, you said to run all the adsets.
@@taysthetic Thanks a lot!

Where is your Ecom course where you mention how to use capcut?
You point towards it in the video but there’s no link?
go to my description and you'll see the video linked at the bottom. it's called "full dropshipping course for beginners (2+ hours)"
@@taysthetic thank you I see it 🙏🏻
I have a question what if the ad brings in a purchase on the first day? Should I scale it immediately, or wait until the third day and then scale it? Best regards, you make great videos, keep it up!
Scaling takes time, but why not
you should still wait at least 2-3 days to ensure you're still getting purchases. sometimes getting a purchase early on can be a fluke and you don't want to scale too quickly
For the ads 1,2 and 3 under every ad set, are they the same? Thanks!
Also, how would you break down into 5 ad sets? 1. phone accesories and?
@@AndrewPang-y1y yes all adsets have the same combo of 3 ads.
And i don’t quite understand your 2nd question.
hi really thank you very much for your videos you motivate me with each video you release however I have two questions
1st question I would like to know the products that you add to the site are found on default product, do you create the product page as you do when you create a template
@@AbdelAgboola i don’t create a template for every single product on the store. Only for the products that i am actually testing and running ads to.

@@taysthetic oh sorry i meant do you do image text, faq, reviews for filler products or lets say for filler products you just put a add to cart buttom?

@@viniciussmaniotto6590 yes definitely! you’re never restricted to just one product. You always want to have other products you can cross sell and upsell
Thanks. Which markets are these metrics suitable for? US, Uk, EU, AU or other countries?

@@travelwithbt i don’t think it makes a difference if it’s enabled or not
I notice a few subtle difference with budgeting and metrics you look for compared to TikTok ads? Is there a difference, or is this an updated method you stand by?
@@JimbopsChannel tiktok and facebook are different, especially CPM’s. But yes, this video is more up to date and i give more room for a higher CPC and CPM than i did in my previous fb ads tutorial.
I tried the same strategy but having massive audience overlapping which lower adset performance after 2 days
@@Suefore-bl4ni audience overlap is not the issue if each adset is just at $10/day. It’s barely enough impressions for that to have an effect.
Keep testing more creatives or simply move on to another product
@@taysthetic Thanks for your reply.
I run ads in Asian countries with a budget of about $10 per adsets. The very day works well with 8 to 10 conversions, then the second day i usually get audience fragmentation recommendation from Facebook and that you should combine all the adsets together.
@@taysthetic Thanks for the reply, I'll give it a go
Hey bro, thank you for all the wisdom.
Please correct me @taysthetic!
yes, it is relative to the product price. but you can generally still follow the strategy of this video. whether you run $10/day or $20/day, you should let it spend 50% of it's budget before looking at ATC's and purchases on day 2 and day 3
Hey, facebook doesn't let me duplicate an ad set do you know why?
Do you kill the whole ad set even if there's a performing ads inside?
if one of the ads in the adset has good metrics, then i might re launch another adset just with that ad to see if it can perform better according to my 3 day metric rules.
You are amazing! Is everyone going to test this product now? Will this make the product saturated?
The product is already done, it was in trend a month ago and everyone and their grandma already done it. Not worth now.
I lost like $40 dollars on the day 1 with Facebook ads. Then Facebook disabled my account because this was the daily spending limit. Now I have reduced the daily budget to $5 dollars. Do you think Facebook burns money if new ad account try to test aggressively?
Hello are you into the ecommerce business
Do you recommend also to do 5 adgroups in tiktok or should we stick with 3 adgroups like your course on youtube
You can do 5 ad groups on tiktok if you have the budget.
I made 3 ad groups for the course video since the minimum budget is $20 for tiktok and i wanted to show a strategy for ppl with less budget.
@@taystheticAnd when starting scaling a cbo, also 5 addgroups? And 2 creatives or 3?
THANKS!!!
@@taystheticThankyou tay, much love bro👏🏼
Why is it that everytime I try scaling my ad sets stop performing all together until I decrease the budget again?
Are you increasing at a rate greater than 20% per day?
it's most likely not ready for scaling and needs more data/purchases on the pixel at a lower budget. you might also need to test stronger creatives as well
Also scaling too aggressively can impact performance negatively.
