That's where I purchased it. It is fully synthetic. Nice thing about it is that you can make most of the traditional sounds on it unlike other synthetic mridangas. The body is made out of fiberglass and the drumhead is vinyl.

A good clay drum will sound better for the first 1 year. But the sound won't last. This one will sound better than any clay drum after 1 year if you play a lot.

Hare krsna sabko , waste ye batay to mujhe beat mahut kafi time se aata hai , kyunki ye beat waise dholak per hota hai , per jab maridanga par bajaye to maja hi alag hai. Btw mai 14 years ka hoon but mujhe mridangam ke saath saath tabla , dholak , etc hand instruments aate hai because of hari kripa 🙂❤️
