Elden Ring genuinely changed my life. It completely rejuvenated my love for gaming, and led me to playing the Dark Souls trilogy. I've finally found my series
I get why people don’t like Elden Ring as much as the other games (Open worlds aren’t for everyone), but it’s is genuinely my favorite game of all time
My list with all dlcs and bosses beaten multiple times with multiple builds : 7 - Demons Souls 6 - Dark Souls 2 ( I played the Scholar version ) then a jump in quality DS1 another jump in quality all top 4 are games that feel more modern with less jank 4 - Dark Souls 3 ( biggest reason its not higher is because it doesn't feel innovative enough ) despite the amazing boss lineup 3 - Bloodborne ( a setting not often seen which I loved ) , the parry on the pistol and the rally mechanic really make this game standout , also the lore is right up my alley . 2 - Sekiro ( best combat for sure ) , the combat felt new and refreshing , I have never played a game like Sekiro before . 1 - With the expansion Elden Ring reigns supreme , not much to say , simply an amazing game with so much build variety it is insane
Good video and understandable points. My particular top is: 1. Dark souls 1 (atmosphere and immersion here can't be beat) 2. Elden ring 3. Dark souls 3 tied with bloodborne. If bloodborne wasn't a technical mess with 700p and drops to 20fps and lack of AA that makes the whole world barely making sense, it would be the 3rd alone. 4. Sekiro. It was the most addicting in the beginning but I didn't even had any desire to finish it. The game design demands a shorter campaign. 5. Dark souls 2. Has many flaws but it is a fun experience if you're not making a strength build 😅. 6. Demon souls. Make no mistake, it's a incredible game even tho it's in last place
yeah i wont argue with ds1s atsomphere and immersion i agree its unmatched from the start to end of anor londo but that 2nd half man i just couldnt put it any higher, i played bloodborne on ps5 so im pretty sure it was 1080p and 30fps the whole time as i didnt expereince any frame drops, the 30fps cap alone was pretty jarring at first tho but i got use to it. i thought sekiro just got better and better and thought it was a perfect length with perfect pacing tbh, yeah ds2 is flawed but its fun, and same thing for me with demon souls i really like the game but its just the weakest in the series, thanks for the comment man
@@HunterHohn-wf9ju I loved bloodborne so much, but I hate the fact that I had that constant feeling on my head "this game could be so much better if it wasn't technically annoying". Just made the experience a little bit bitter overall

@@hubimagine8521 yeah definitely least replayable but since I don’t replay games that didn’t matter for me, I have done ng+ on a couple of these games but never cared much for replaying. Also the reason I have ds3 slightly over Sekiro was because I do prefer the more freedom of build variety. But I also love sekiros approach to combat and weapons there just different

S+ Tier - Elden Ring S Tier - Bloodborne S- Tier - Dark Souls A+ Tier - Dark Souls II, Sekiro, Shadows: Die Twice A Tier - Dark Souls III, Demon's Souls Remake A- Tier - Demon's Souls Here's my opinion of my own rankings: Elden Ring is the best game they've made bar none. Second to nothing in almost every aspect. Bloodborne is so fucking cool and has my favorite gameplay of the series. I like it more than Sekiro's ngl because it at least has variety LOL. Dark Souls is just so fun to explore, and the world building and interconnection is utterly phenomenal. Second half is meh, but only in comparison to the 1st half. Otherwise, it's a great game from start to finish. The only bad area is Lost Izalith. Dark Souls II is an underrated masterpiece, only held back by jank, which is funny because the jank in Dark Souls 1 actually enhances it for me while DS2 is the opposite. Sekiro is a masterclass in gameplay mechanics and underrated yet fantastic level design. The bosses aren't the best of the series, but they are legitimately amazing and an easy top 3 for me. Dark Souls III is overrated af but still a great game. I just wish it wasn't so boring to replay compared to the other games. The linearity and boring level design made going through the game feel not nearly as special as the others. Bosses in this game were great but aside from like the DLC bosses, were not complex enough for me to truly love them. Demon's Souls excels in paying attention to the small details as well as incredible level design that I'd argue is just as good as, if not better than the original Dark Souls. Otherwise, the lack of gameplay polish holds it back tremendously. It has aged more poorly than even DS1. Demon's Souls Remake enhances the overall experience by a decent margin despite an inferior atmosphere, but is still held back by the things it does the same as the original game. All in all, W list. I actually agree with everything here funnily enough. I think at the end of the day, DS3 just wasn't for me. I regret saying that because it really is a good game; I just couldn't bring myself to love it in any way like every other game. Maybe if it was harder though, I'd have enjoyed it even more xD.
Yes great video! I agree with your listing, I'd just put Sekiro over DS3. Man Elden Ring is on another level for me especially after Shadow of the Erdtree, it's such a game that is so good that I doubt From Software will ever be able to capture the same magic ever again. My best game of all time!
I started with Demon Souls on the ps3 so seeing people rank elden ring so high I just can’t understand it, but that could also be my experience with the series being so long ago now 8. Dark souls 2 scholar of the first sin 7. Demon souls remake 6. Dark souls 2 vanilla 5. Elden Ring 4. Dark souls 3. Demon souls ps3 original 2. Dark souls 3 1. Bloodborne To me when demon souls first released it felt like a horror version of Zelda where every single combat encounter was terrifying because of how you were punished by death in the game. The atmosphere was something so special. Bloodborne for me is my favourite in the series for its style, its combat and how the game progresses you. The pacing was perfect and the combat made the whole series click for me. Dark souls 3 felt like a mismatch of the best ideas from all the games and was a greatest hits experience for me. I put the most amount of time out of any title. Elden Ring is such a massive game and I enjoyed playing it, but I never loved playing it. It felt large open and empty at times. I’m personally not a fan of open world games so for me it’s one of the more enjoyable ones but I feel the level design is tighter in the other games. Not a bad game, it was fun but having played all the games on their release it doesn’t feel nearly as special as the other titles. Dark souls 2 can still be fun and sotfs might be one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. For every moment of fun there was another moment of frustration. Demon souls remake all they had to do was keep the atmosphere of the original, give us the missing arch stone and the quality of life improvements… b
I haven't played bloodborne and DS2, so I won't include bloodborne here: 7) DS2. I haven't played it, but the reason why I included it here is because it hurts even to look upon this game: bosses except sir Alonne and fume knight are mid at best, I don't like the max health chopping mechanic at all and I don't even want to try wasting my time on all those runbacks... Won't give it any objective rating though. 6) DS1. I played it once out of pure interest of what so special people saw in this game and deleted the game immediately after first playthrough. It is atrotious in every gameplay way possible: combat sucks huge donkey ass, game has not a single one good boss, half of mobs are annoying as hell, level distribution between location made by one-armed bandit (I don't know how else can I explain that I had to run from one side of the map to the other every time when I needed to go elsewhere because the next location to mine has too strong mobs for my level, and I don't even talk about the game start where I must guess in which of 3 ways I won't get my ass kicked), the famous "greatest level-design" sucks ass too (if making every single location as a tiny passage with mobs blocking the way is greatest level design then I'm a king of Lollipop Land). But at least the game looks pretty even still. 3,5/10. 5) Demon Souls. The most mediocre game I can imagine. Perfect mediocrity in everything: combat, bosses, locations...nothing special at all. 5/10. 4) Elden Ring. This game has best bossfights and locations visual wise in the series, but the open world harms this game so much that I can't even describe this properly. Lots of empty spaces, megaton of copy-pasted bosses, caves and catacombs, useless loot everywhere (may the cookboocks and all this craft burn in the frenzied flame). I like to fight in this game so much, but besides cool fights this game has nothing to offer: storytelling is absent as always, open world is dead and empty, 95% of NPC quests are unmemorable and uninteresting, just...nothing. Only bosses and cool builds to kick them with. 7/10. 3) DS3. This game is what Elden Ring was based on, but it does some things better. It doesn't have the open world problems, it doesn't share the flaws of previous games such as stupid runbacks, idiotic hitboxes and bosses with 2,5 attacks. Though it has the most uninteresting locations in series. And Ariandel DLC was pretty mid except Friede bossfight which is very good. Overall, 8/10. 2) Sekiro. Since I play parry games a lot, I instantly knew what I should do in this game. I don't even consider it to be a souls-like. But it is good at what it is: bossfight simulator. It doesn't have a single bad bossfight, combat is nearly perfect, the only problem is complete absence of weapon variety. And it has a normal story for once. Not a very good one, but at least it exists and this raises this game above previous ones in my eyes. 8,5/10. 1) Armored Core 6. Yes, this is completely different game and it wasn't even discussed, but it has some similarities in gameplay with souls-likes and I consider this game the best fromsoft game and best one I've ever played. Bosses are perfectly balanced, each of them is memorable and cool to fight, the story is very good (surprisingly...Fromsoft aren't famous for good storytelling), characters are charismatic, combat is perfect, build variety is endless, 90% of guns are not just useful, but actually good, there's not a single bad or boring mission, NG+ was realized the best way possible. The only little complaint I have is that basic mobs don't pose a threat at all. Compared to elite enemies and bosses they are immesurably weaker which makes a some sort of dissonance. I haven't seen a 10/10 game in my life, I doubt that such game exists in the first place, but this one is the closest to absolute perfection among everything I know. And I'm not even a mech fan. 9,5/10.
@@jjkae3930 in what world 7-8/10 is "I don't like it"?) I hate DS1 because it is objectively atrotious in every single way except vusual style and maybe lore (but I'm not a lore guy). Gameplay wise I haven't enjoyed a single minute of my 28-hour playthrough, but I wanted to finish it because I was interested, why people like this game, though in the end I saw nothing but nostalgia reasons. And to be capable to judge the game at the first place. Everything else is something of an experience. DeS is first of the kind. ER and DS3 are good at what they are: bossfight simulators, but aside bosses these games can offer nothing. And if I don't estimate something as 10/10, it doesn't mean that I dislike it😁. Also, objectively 10/10 game doesn't exist in this world.

I am very new to the soulsborn series, my first one was elden ring a few months ago, and since then i played sekiro, ds3 and finished BB 2 days ago. Elden ring is not the best game in the series. I love the exploration of the game that is by far the best part, however I have some major problems with the combat and the boss design. there is a line between unfairness and difficulty. orphan of kos is very hard because he is hyper aggresive, hits like a tank and is very tanky. but he has clear openings, and if yhou move correctly you can hit him like 6 times in a row. you can parry him, he gets staggered after a few hits, etc etc. ishin is hard because you have to master every single mechanic of the game, but when you do, that boss is actually very easy. same for Gael. Elden ring bosses are hard because of all of what I said, and because they have very small openings, infinite combos, many of which you cant get behind and punish, insane poise, etc. and yet, your character moves pretty slow compared to the bosses, and the game does not encourage aggresion the same way something sekiro or bb do. I think sekiro and bb are better games, and to some extent ds3 aswell

But the problem with Elden ring boss design u mentioned is only present in the dlc and I didn’t think it was a problem personally, just made it more challenging and requires you to be more patient but fair enough if your not into that, I do like the highly aggressive style of sekiro and blood borne as well
@@BeanosReviews yup, elden ring 100% makes you be more patient and slows down the game a lot, which i personally do not like. i feel the opposite. many of the bosses in the dlc fixed this issue for me, specially a boss like messmer, which has clear openings and he really encourages you to be aggresive, and fighting lady maria actually reminded me of fighting mesmer.
I'm quite a fan of Dark Souls II, and really like the slower and more deliberate combat in that game. I have yet to play Sekiro (will soon), but I'm holding out hope that one day From releases the "anti-Sekiro", a game that attempts to be as realistic and weighty as possible in its melee combat. Given industry trends, this is very unlikely.
In my opinion demon souls remake was better than ds2 Scholar of the first sin. Being the only version of ds2 I played. For me demon souls just felt better to play and the bosses didn't have as much gank to it, I also find the parry/backstabs to be wonderful in demon souls.
Since I never played DeS or BB, I'll rank my list without those 2. For me: 1. Sekiro/DS1 2. Sekiro/DS1 3. Elden Ring/DS3 4. Elden Ring/DS3 5. DS2 (ADP stats and way too many areas (each area felt smaller compared to other souls games))
@@BeanosReviews I'd probably go with: 1. Sekiro - I'm just sucker for the combat of Sekiro. The fast paced combat and the actual feeling of dancing with the boss is unmatched (for me). 2. DS1 - That map design till Anor Londo is top tier and only ER DLC probably comes close to it. I am fine with endgame as I only hated Bed of Chaos while Four Kings, Seath were alright. 3. ER - The joy and thrill of exploring new areas is great in it. Even tho this was my entry point to fromsoft like most players, I enjoyed DS1 and Sekiro more than this. 4. DS3 - Little unfair to the DS3, so it pains me to put it on 4. But Gael is probably my favorite boss in all from games I've played. The spectacle, the lore was awesome. And it being the final boss of the beloved trilogy makes me love it even more. He was the perfect send-off to the series (although fuck those sniping angels in the DLC lol) 5. DS2 - Its a good game once ADP is leveled up but I think it overused gank bosses. Its the only game I didn't bother to finish coz gank squad boss made me rage quit. I was only left with Nashandra in the base game. So I was pretty close to finishing the base game at least.

the thing is, that bloodborne is an incredible game, that have some minor flaws that are just annoying to me, I dont wanna farm blood vails, and I dont wanna play on a console forced to use controller and limited to 30 fps, but I get why people love it so much, I just prefer ER and DS3
yeah fair it does have some technical issues and the bloodvial farming can be annoying, but i found a pretty good spot to get heaps quick so it was a very small problem for me, also i play all games using controller whether im on my pc or PlayStation and got use to 30fps pre quickly
Everyone talks about the click with sekiro I wish I got it I have played through it 8 times and still think its one of the worst souls games I dont get how people compare it to bloodborne or dmc combat in terms of quality

really good list imo , but i personally wouldnt put sekiro number 1 cause it is barely a soulsborne game and it lacks good lore and miniboss quality compared to some other games in the series but i respect it

@@buckiemohawk3643first half didn’t need bonfires as the entire world was interconnected it took on more of a metroidvenia approach in its world design and would have been pointless if you could warp. I can understand not being a fan of it but I thought it worked in its favor having no warping personally and that aspect has received tons of praise from the community

I restarted dark souls 3 after shadow of the erdteee, I realized I never played either of the dlc s. I personally think ds3 is a better game then elden ring. All the buffs and min maxing required to even stay alive in shadows killed it for me
yeah dark souls 3 is fantastic, but all the buffs u need in shadow of the erdtree are the fragments which arent to hard to find and even got buffed recently, i think they should have had more fragments around the world so you didnt have to find every single one to get to max level since a few are in stupid places that are easy to miss
@@BeanosReviews I'm not talking about the scad tree fragments I'm talking about the actual buffs you need to apply to yourself, then enter a boss room, die and have to buff again over and over it's tedious.
@@benfarr6049 oh ok I didn’t use any of those buffs except on radahn I use golden vow and boiled crap, but every other boss in the dlc it wasn’t necessary for me personally
@@benfarr6049 u can get alot of laval tears through rannis questlline if u havent done it already, and i used the new great katana for every boss in the dlc besides radahn and gaiuss (i used guts greatsword for them) without summons,magic or incantations either so if you utilise those youll have a much easier time
if ds3 has nothing inovative then neither does elden ring who literally is a mashup of all souls games ( btw when do you think the weapon arts came from and flask sharing appeared )
@@dumi_019 I think Elden ring is pretty innovative, first game that is open world, more accessibility options for newer players (spirit summons). But combat wise it didn’t do much new yeah but I think it was innovative in other areas and did a lot to push the series forward. Also yeah ds3 did add weapon arts, i don’t think there’s 0 innovation in ds3 just the least innovative in the series which I don’t consider a bad thing it’s one of my favourites
@@pajko524 It has the best maiden, atmosphere, level design, story, and only truly good ending. If this list was accurate then Ds3 would be at the bottom and Demon's souls would be in top 3 with Bloodborne and Elden Ring.

@@BeanosReviewsindeed. The base game to me wasn’t fun just because of slow movement, terrible bosses and enemy placement. Getting into the dlc for me wasn’t different. The bs snow area was terrible, and if I could barely play through the base game I obviously couldn’t stomach the dlc. It’s just so damn boring
@@thealiminop7571 yeah most of the issues you mentioned are due to the scholar version, the enemy placements are fine in regular ds2, frigid out skirts is terrible no matter what but u can just skip it not like theres anything to important there

Here's my opinion of my own rankings:
Elden Ring is the best game they've made bar none. Second to nothing in almost every aspect.
Bloodborne is so fucking cool and has my favorite gameplay of the series. I like it more than Sekiro's ngl because it at least has variety LOL.
Dark Souls is just so fun to explore, and the world building and interconnection is utterly phenomenal. Second half is meh, but only in comparison to the 1st half. Otherwise, it's a great game from start to finish. The only bad area is Lost Izalith.
Dark Souls II is an underrated masterpiece, only held back by jank, which is funny because the jank in Dark Souls 1 actually enhances it for me while DS2 is the opposite.
Sekiro is a masterclass in gameplay mechanics and underrated yet fantastic level design. The bosses aren't the best of the series, but they are legitimately amazing and an easy top 3 for me.
Dark Souls III is overrated af but still a great game. I just wish it wasn't so boring to replay compared to the other games. The linearity and boring level design made going through the game feel not nearly as special as the others. Bosses in this game were great but aside from like the DLC bosses, were not complex enough for me to truly love them.
Demon's Souls excels in paying attention to the small details as well as incredible level design that I'd argue is just as good as, if not better than the original Dark Souls. Otherwise, the lack of gameplay polish holds it back tremendously. It has aged more poorly than even DS1.
Demon's Souls Remake enhances the overall experience by a decent margin despite an inferior atmosphere, but is still held back by the things it does the same as the original game.
All in all, W list. I actually agree with everything here funnily enough. I think at the end of the day, DS3 just wasn't for me. I regret saying that because it really is a good game; I just couldn't bring myself to love it in any way like every other game. Maybe if it was harder though, I'd have enjoyed it even more xD.
Yes great video! I agree with your listing, I'd just put Sekiro over DS3. Man Elden Ring is on another level for me especially after Shadow of the Erdtree, it's such a game that is so good that I doubt From Software will ever be able to capture the same magic ever again. My best game of all time!

To me when demon souls first released it felt like a horror version of Zelda where every single combat encounter was terrifying because of how you were punished by death in the game. The atmosphere was something so special.
Bloodborne for me is my favourite in the series for its style, its combat and how the game progresses you. The pacing was perfect and the combat made the whole series click for me.
Dark souls 3 felt like a mismatch of the best ideas from all the games and was a greatest hits experience for me. I put the most amount of time out of any title.
Elden Ring is such a massive game and I enjoyed playing it, but I never loved playing it. It felt large open and empty at times. I’m personally not a fan of open world games so for me it’s one of the more enjoyable ones but I feel the level design is tighter in the other games. Not a bad game, it was fun but having played all the games on their release it doesn’t feel nearly as special as the other titles.
Dark souls 2 can still be fun and sotfs might be one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. For every moment of fun there was another moment of frustration.
Demon souls remake all they had to do was keep the atmosphere of the original, give us the missing arch stone and the quality of life improvements… b

I haven't played bloodborne and DS2, so I won't include bloodborne here:
7) DS2. I haven't played it, but the reason why I included it here is because it hurts even to look upon this game: bosses except sir Alonne and fume knight are mid at best, I don't like the max health chopping mechanic at all and I don't even want to try wasting my time on all those runbacks... Won't give it any objective rating though.
6) DS1. I played it once out of pure interest of what so special people saw in this game and deleted the game immediately after first playthrough. It is atrotious in every gameplay way possible: combat sucks huge donkey ass, game has not a single one good boss, half of mobs are annoying as hell, level distribution between location made by one-armed bandit (I don't know how else can I explain that I had to run from one side of the map to the other every time when I needed to go elsewhere because the next location to mine has too strong mobs for my level, and I don't even talk about the game start where I must guess in which of 3 ways I won't get my ass kicked), the famous "greatest level-design" sucks ass too (if making every single location as a tiny passage with mobs blocking the way is greatest level design then I'm a king of Lollipop Land). But at least the game looks pretty even still. 3,5/10.
5) Demon Souls. The most mediocre game I can imagine. Perfect mediocrity in everything: combat, bosses, locations...nothing special at all. 5/10.
4) Elden Ring. This game has best bossfights and locations visual wise in the series, but the open world harms this game so much that I can't even describe this properly. Lots of empty spaces, megaton of copy-pasted bosses, caves and catacombs, useless loot everywhere (may the cookboocks and all this craft burn in the frenzied flame). I like to fight in this game so much, but besides cool fights this game has nothing to offer: storytelling is absent as always, open world is dead and empty, 95% of NPC quests are unmemorable and uninteresting, just...nothing. Only bosses and cool builds to kick them with. 7/10.
3) DS3. This game is what Elden Ring was based on, but it does some things better. It doesn't have the open world problems, it doesn't share the flaws of previous games such as stupid runbacks, idiotic hitboxes and bosses with 2,5 attacks. Though it has the most uninteresting locations in series. And Ariandel DLC was pretty mid except Friede bossfight which is very good. Overall, 8/10.
2) Sekiro. Since I play parry games a lot, I instantly knew what I should do in this game. I don't even consider it to be a souls-like. But it is good at what it is: bossfight simulator. It doesn't have a single bad bossfight, combat is nearly perfect, the only problem is complete absence of weapon variety. And it has a normal story for once. Not a very good one, but at least it exists and this raises this game above previous ones in my eyes. 8,5/10.
1) Armored Core 6. Yes, this is completely different game and it wasn't even discussed, but it has some similarities in gameplay with souls-likes and I consider this game the best fromsoft game and best one I've ever played. Bosses are perfectly balanced, each of them is memorable and cool to fight, the story is very good (surprisingly...Fromsoft aren't famous for good storytelling), characters are charismatic, combat is perfect, build variety is endless, 90% of guns are not just useful, but actually good, there's not a single bad or boring mission, NG+ was realized the best way possible. The only little complaint I have is that basic mobs don't pose a threat at all. Compared to elite enemies and bosses they are immesurably weaker which makes a some sort of dissonance. I haven't seen a 10/10 game in my life, I doubt that such game exists in the first place, but this one is the closest to absolute perfection among everything I know. And I'm not even a mech fan. 9,5/10.

@@jjkae3930 in what world 7-8/10 is "I don't like it"?) I hate DS1 because it is objectively atrotious in every single way except vusual style and maybe lore (but I'm not a lore guy). Gameplay wise I haven't enjoyed a single minute of my 28-hour playthrough, but I wanted to finish it because I was interested, why people like this game, though in the end I saw nothing but nostalgia reasons. And to be capable to judge the game at the first place.
Everything else is something of an experience. DeS is first of the kind. ER and DS3 are good at what they are: bossfight simulators, but aside bosses these games can offer nothing. And if I don't estimate something as 10/10, it doesn't mean that I dislike it😁. Also, objectively 10/10 game doesn't exist in this world.
I was so immersed in DS1. Its a shame you didn't like it cause I was so hooked to it. I found the jank to be a style lol

Can't rank Dark Souls 2 simply because I haven't played it. And Bloodborne and Demon Souls due to it's exclusivity.
I am very new to the soulsborn series, my first one was elden ring a few months ago, and since then i played sekiro, ds3 and finished BB 2 days ago.
Elden ring is not the best game in the series. I love the exploration of the game that is by far the best part, however I have some major problems with the combat and the boss design. there is a line between unfairness and difficulty. orphan of kos is very hard because he is hyper aggresive, hits like a tank and is very tanky. but he has clear openings, and if yhou move correctly you can hit him like 6 times in a row. you can parry him, he gets staggered after a few hits, etc etc.
ishin is hard because you have to master every single mechanic of the game, but when you do, that boss is actually very easy.
same for Gael.
Elden ring bosses are hard because of all of what I said, and because they have very small openings, infinite combos, many of which you cant get behind and punish, insane poise, etc.
and yet, your character moves pretty slow compared to the bosses, and the game does not encourage aggresion the same way something sekiro or bb do.
I think sekiro and bb are better games, and to some extent ds3 aswell

But the problem with Elden ring boss design u mentioned is only present in the dlc and I didn’t think it was a problem personally, just made it more challenging and requires you to be more patient but fair enough if your not into that, I do like the highly aggressive style of sekiro and blood borne as well

i feel the opposite. many of the bosses in the dlc fixed this issue for me, specially a boss like messmer, which has clear openings and he really encourages you to be aggresive, and fighting lady maria actually reminded me of fighting mesmer.

I'm quite a fan of Dark Souls II, and really like the slower and more deliberate combat in that game. I have yet to play Sekiro (will soon), but I'm holding out hope that one day From releases the "anti-Sekiro", a game that attempts to be as realistic and weighty as possible in its melee combat. Given industry trends, this is very unlikely.

In my opinion demon souls remake was better than ds2 Scholar of the first sin. Being the only version of ds2 I played. For me demon souls just felt better to play and the bosses didn't have as much gank to it, I also find the parry/backstabs to be wonderful in demon souls.

I'd probably go with:
1. Sekiro - I'm just sucker for the combat of Sekiro. The fast paced combat and the actual feeling of dancing with the boss is unmatched (for me).
2. DS1 - That map design till Anor Londo is top tier and only ER DLC probably comes close to it. I am fine with endgame as I only hated Bed of Chaos while Four Kings, Seath were alright.
3. ER - The joy and thrill of exploring new areas is great in it. Even tho this was my entry point to fromsoft like most players, I enjoyed DS1 and Sekiro more than this.
4. DS3 - Little unfair to the DS3, so it pains me to put it on 4. But Gael is probably my favorite boss in all from games I've played. The spectacle, the lore was awesome. And it being the final boss of the beloved trilogy makes me love it even more. He was the perfect send-off to the series (although fuck those sniping angels in the DLC lol)
5. DS2 - Its a good game once ADP is leveled up but I think it overused gank bosses. Its the only game I didn't bother to finish coz gank squad boss made me rage quit. I was only left with Nashandra in the base game. So I was pretty close to finishing the base game at least.

the thing is, that bloodborne is an incredible game, that have some minor flaws that are just annoying to me, I dont wanna farm blood vails, and I dont wanna play on a console forced to use controller and limited to 30 fps, but I get why people love it so much, I just prefer ER and DS3
yeah fair it does have some technical issues and the bloodvial farming can be annoying, but i found a pretty good spot to get heaps quick so it was a very small problem for me, also i play all games using controller whether im on my pc or PlayStation and got use to 30fps pre quickly
Everyone talks about the click with sekiro I wish I got it I have played through it 8 times and still think its one of the worst souls games I dont get how people compare it to bloodborne or dmc combat in terms of quality

@@buckiemohawk3643first half didn’t need bonfires as the entire world was interconnected it took on more of a metroidvenia approach in its world design and would have been pointless if you could warp. I can understand not being a fan of it but I thought it worked in its favor having no warping personally and that aspect has received tons of praise from the community

I restarted dark souls 3 after shadow of the erdteee, I realized I never played either of the dlc s. I personally think ds3 is a better game then elden ring. All the buffs and min maxing required to even stay alive in shadows killed it for me
yeah dark souls 3 is fantastic, but all the buffs u need in shadow of the erdtree are the fragments which arent to hard to find and even got buffed recently, i think they should have had more fragments around the world so you didnt have to find every single one to get to max level since a few are in stupid places that are easy to miss

@@benfarr6049 u can get alot of laval tears through rannis questlline if u havent done it already, and i used the new great katana for every boss in the dlc besides radahn and gaiuss (i used guts greatsword for them) without summons,magic or incantations either so if you utilise those youll have a much easier time
if ds3 has nothing inovative then neither does elden ring who literally is a mashup of all souls games ( btw when do you think the weapon arts came from and flask sharing appeared )
@@dumi_019 I think Elden ring is pretty innovative, first game that is open world, more accessibility options for newer players (spirit summons). But combat wise it didn’t do much new yeah but I think it was innovative in other areas and did a lot to push the series forward. Also yeah ds3 did add weapon arts, i don’t think there’s 0 innovation in ds3 just the least innovative in the series which I don’t consider a bad thing it’s one of my favourites

The bs snow area was terrible, and if I could barely play through the base game I obviously couldn’t stomach the dlc. It’s just so damn boring
@@thealiminop7571 yeah most of the issues you mentioned are due to the scholar version, the enemy placements are fine in regular ds2, frigid out skirts is terrible no matter what but u can just skip it not like theres anything to important there
