Awesome footage! Beautiful cat, can't believe how busy that trail is. Kinda scary to think those people were walking on the same trail as a panther. I finally caught my first sighting of one a month ago. It was amazing.
I thought it was an interesting video. I come across wild orange trees all the time and wondered what eats them. The squirrels, racoons opossums, and rats love them. I thought the panther taking a nap right in front of the camera was incredible. That spot was very active. I was surprised the deer and bear didn't like the oranges. Looking forward to more videos.
That was so entertaining! I agree the panther taking a nap and stretching after was a highlight, but I also enjoyed the people interacting with the camera, the Great Egret, Gray Catbirds, and the young Raccoon that stood on his high legs, oh and the Squirrels picking up the oranges was pretty sweet too! Yes indeed, I was totally entertained. I'm a wildlife photographer just for fun, and I'm a new owner of a few Browning Trail Cameras. Not sure I could ever go even a month without checking footage! Not a hunter, just a photographer. Keep up the great videos.
Fantastic video, I like the squirrels when they are chasing each other, nice clear pic of the crane, but the panthers, the one napping was just so cute, I noticed a couple of times one came through in the daytime, that would be a little scary if you're hiking. Thanks so much for sharing these videos Tim, I always look forward to pick up day! 😍😍
I think you out did yourself this time Tim, awesome Panther shots, I think that one was waiting on you LoL Deer didn't want any part of Panther trail, Its cool that you had s many of them on this video...
The panther was awesome napping in front of camera !! Loved it !! And he had a tracking device! Love your videos. If your ever in Mobile County, Al. I would love for you to see my mom's property! There's ponds , alligators, turtles , swamp life ! Tons of acreage!
I'm glad I found your channel! I've been doing something similar in my woods in Connecticut for the past couple of months and you've given me some great ideas for other locations/cameras. It's really neat seeing what is out in the woods when you're not there.
That was so cool seeing that cougar take a nap. You call them Panthers Tim. Up north they are Cougars, and Panthers are black, sleek, and freaking awesome looking...but we don't have black Panthers up north, I think you'll only find them in the Amazon rain forest. :)
I’m a new fan! I just recently subscribed! I love the nature you’re catching on trail cam! The raccoon family was cool to watch! Nice cougars too! Surprised there were no deer! Keep it up! We will keep watching!
On the morning of April 3rd there is a guy walking from right to left on the camera. Just about 2 hours later there is a panther walking from right to left on the camera. I have spent time down in the Florida swamps during training and after having read up on the area from my grandmother's National Geographic magazines years before, I always kept an eye out for the creepy crawlers and those furry types with large teeth and claws.
AWESOME captures! Those three panthers rule the land there and the one was very smart to snooze around that high traffic tree. They are so majestic! Thank you
I love seeing all the wild animals in their own habitat, doing their thing. Love the big cats and they made this one special. Thank you for sharing your love and respect for the wildlife.
Jerry - Videos are great, try meeting one in the wild. If you do be prepared to defend yourself. I have had a coupe of encounters with them, one in my side yard, I lived in town at the time. Then one while on horse back in the mountains, needed to defend against that one as it was ready to pounce. Not sure if it was more interested in Big Red or me. I carry a sidearm in the back country just for those occasions and run into people all the time, who think it is awful that I carry a firearm when on hikes or rides. When they do not even carry bear spray with them, but then what do you expect from a bunch city folks.
Tim this was another outstanding video! I certainly did enjoy that "sexy panther" that you captured! But all kidding aside the two panthers chirping was totally incredible!! And then to have a big cat come in and take a nap right in front of your set up ~ INSANE!! Spectacular video pal keep up the fantastic work.
At the 9:30 to 9:50 mark with the two Panthers talking , I have heard that years go when camping and thought it might of been a Bob Cat , now I know what it really was. Just my thought.....With all the action on this video this has to be the best one you have posted.
Another awesome video! What ate the tops of the oranges.... probably birds ate the tops in the trees, and then all kinds of things finished them off. I was suprised to see just how many critters would eat on them! Seriously?! Who would thumbs down this vid with so many different critters?! Oh, and I think Key Roulette is silly fun, and a unique way to look at it.
Hey everyone, glad to see everyone commenting and praising the amount of panthers, but I just wanted to clear something up. While it may seem like there’s a multitude of them, it’s likely that we’re just seeing the same couple of individuals over and over again. Same goes for the other animals. No one is the wrong, just thought that I’d mention that for the next set of trail cam videos you may watch. It’s always cool to try and determine distinct individuals but certainly more than difficult. Awesome videos Tim, keep on providing us with more of wild Florida!
Pretty cool!! Those squirrels are crazy! WTH would runners go down where panthers and alligators are?? 🤓 I guess the one that came back to have his mug on there explains it! Thanks for sharing Tim! 😬
I call them Mountain Lion's, but I find it quite amazing in most of the video clips they appear not long after human activity. Almost as if human scent in the area attracts them or maybe they were watching/stalking the people that were up and down the trail???
Basically, This is a subspecies of mountain lion that used to be found from Texas throughout the southeast but is now found only in southern Florida's swamps.
Those people walking and on the ATV's are the park staff. I know them all and they don't mind me putting the cameras out there because I share all my sightings with them. There is no hunting in that area, so most people out there are nature lovers so I feel my cameras are safe out there.
The evening after the race those two uncollared pumas showed up very cool. Interesting to see the possum scent mark around the tree & then later 2nd one shows up. No coyotes, bears or deer this time. The most trail maintenance I think I have ever seen from one of your posts. That nap was killer, almost like he wanted to document.. TYTYTy
So the panther with the collar, would that have been a relocated Panther? Have you seen that one before? (Sorry if I've missed a video somewhere) Was great to see it take a nap like that! And is that a rabbit jumping around there, or some other kind of marsupial? so awesome to catch that one wearing fluro colours too lol!
There are a few panthers with tracking collars. I'm sure I have seen that one before on one of my trail cameras. They are not necessarily re-located. They study the territorial ranges of the panthers.
That possum thing looks scary by the possums I’m Australia looks way different so cool keep on doing those awesome vids🤪btw in Australia we don’t have🦝🐿🦡🐘🦛🐻
Unreal! Great footage. Really enjoy your videos. Of course, there always has to be that one guy "posing" for the game camera. At least it's not the old 35mm "wait and find" variety.
It was worth the wait for another exciting trail camera pickup! Thanks again for another fun video. The Fakahatchee Strand is my favorite of all the areas you video. I hope we get to see some orchids soon Take care Tim.
Hi Tim. Enjoyed your trail cam videos. I'm a retired hunter and still interested in the game animals, they pique my interest. The cougers(felines) are startling as we dont have them in Hawaii. Thanks, Mel
Lots and lots of kitties out there. Beautiful footage! Tim, do the cats ever bother people who are wandering the trails? They are my favorite part of any ecosystem and thank you for sharing your wonderful world with us! Its been many, many years since I have been to the Everglades!
@@ShrikeZone Not out here in Komiefornia, they EAT the slow runners! Seriously, ever since the ban on Mt. Lion hunting in the 80's they have completely lost their fear of man. They have been seen stalking elementary schools, and you must be VERY vigilant turkey hunting... You can have all these damn cats. They kill and eat everything. California deer herds are now non existent. Ask any sheep rancher how much they love those cats...
15:20 is such an awesome clip, cougars are one of my favorite animals. Really elusive and we dont have many in Michigan so i dont count on seeing one anytime soon, Florida seems to be stacked with them tho lol. Really cool to see him take a cat nap in front of your cam like that!
That was SUPERB Tim 🤗. Such a lot of panther activity there, loved it especially that one hour cat nap 😸. Have you ever met one in broad daylight Tim 😯 ? these ones here seem quite happy strolling about in the daylight 🤔. I would be very nervous walking around out there, but thankfully I dont have to thanks to you and youtube 😊. Good luck from here in the UK for your next Trail Cam Pickup Tim 😎👍.
Thank you Dave. I saw a mother panther with 2 babies a couple years ago. I was in my car but I was able to get a few pictures. I have not seen another during the day on my swamp hikes but I bet a few have seen me.
I cant stop binge watching your videos, am I the only one?
Running Grass I just found him 2 days ago and what I’m doing lol
Running Grass me too
That cougar taking a nap right there on the side of the trail was the best part! Really nice catch!
Awesome!! I loved the panther taking a nap !! So Cool !!💜 Keep em coming Tim !! Cant wait til the next one.. 🐾🐾🐾😁
The most surreal shots are right at dusk when the rabbit goes bopping along. It’s like the camera is switching from daylight to night cam. Thanks Tim.
Wow. That panther sleeping and stretching was the best.
Awesome footage! Beautiful cat, can't believe how busy that trail is. Kinda scary to think those people were walking on the same trail as a panther. I finally caught my first sighting of one a month ago. It was amazing.
That panther taking a nap was just wonderful! Great video.
When your high on the food chain.. you can sleep anywhere.. another awesome video thanks
The cat slept for one hour and nothing passed through. Awesome. Thank you I really enjoy your posts.
Outstanding Panther footage!!! Those crazy squirrels though 🤣

The collared panther taking a 1-hour cat-nap right on the trail was great, along with the two panthers talking to each other. Great stuff!

It's the correct name. They are called Florida Panther. The South American one is just called Black Panther.
Jaguars and Panthers(cougars) are different animals
Panther (Puma,Mountain Lion, Cougar) differneet names depending on area of the country
You must have been so psyched about the panther grooming and taking a nap right in front of your camera!! That was incredible!!
The two Panthers vocalizing after the battery change was amazing! I heard that on morning while hunting, wasn’t so cool then!

That cat having an hour kip was pretty awesome. 🐈
Thanks for sharing. I love your trail videos. 👍🦝
That mmale Panther with the radio collar was beautiful, especially when he took the nap. But who knew squirrels ate oranges. Thanks for the video.
I have orange trees in my yard and have watched squirrels chew all the way through the flesh of the orange to get to the seeds !
Another cool video, Tim. Thanks for sharing. So nice to see the Florida Panthers doing well there.
