    These are such great tips! Something that has worked really well for me is to wake up in the morning and immediately drink at least my daily intake or gallon first thing. That way all my peeing happens earlier in the day and drinking water throughout the rest of the day is more of an option/bonus instead of one more thing I have to think about constantly.

    Great tips, this has inspired me to start tracking my water because I definitely don’t drink enough. I like the idea of the clear water bottle.

    Also, I realized that if I drink from the straw I drink more. So I got a clear bottle with a detachable straw (that I can open with my thumb and don't need both hands like with a regular water bottle). And... it really helped!!

    Sweet!!! Great video. I've been using the largest mason jar I can find. The only thing is, it's hard to drink water when I'm driving with that jar. Hehe

    Thank you for the great tips! I’m pregnant and it’s a good reminder to drink more. I like the smaller bottle idea because I do get overwhelmed with a big bottle.

    Love these tips but to be honest the music is too loud and competes with your voice. Couldn’t finish the video. I appreciate videos with no music when people are talking.

    I am a longtime sub and I really appreciate all your helpful videos. I was hoping you could do an updated "no-poo" video. I have read mixed reviews about using baking soda and was wondering if you still use it. Thank you! :)

      Thanks for watching for so long! That's awesome. I actually haven't used it for awhile...after Mila was born I was having a lot of postpartum hair loss and I couldn't tell if it was because of the no-poo or just postpartum so I stopped no-poo and haven't gone back. It worked great for me when I did it though.

      Currently I just use a SOMA water filter: www.drinksoma.com/products but would love to upgrade to a fancier water filter but always get so overwhelmed in researching which one to buy...someday!

    Hi Ashley!! Wonderful water tips! I definitely will be employing a few of these to drink more water!
    Couple questions;
    1. Do you do tongue scraping before or after your morning water? Since you talked me into buying a tongue scraper a couple years ago (I LOVE it!!), I simply cannot eat or drink anything or even go a few minutes after waking in the morning without running to the bathroom to scrape all the gunk off my tongue - and whenever I scrape my tongue, I immediately succumb to the urge to brush my teeth as well! Fortunately drinking cold water right after this is incredibly refreshing and quenches my thirst, however because of the minty freshness, I have to wait a while before I can dive into my lemon water.
    2. How do you avoid bloating with all this water intake? I've tried many times in the past to religiously drink more water and I always end up so bloated and/or running to the bathroom every 15 minutes! Also drinking water around workouts has never worked for me - I can't do any exercise that works my abs because I instantly have to pee. After using the bathroom, I always go for a little more water, and the issue repeats >_<

      Hi there! I do tongue scraping before doing my water/lemon water for the day. I usually wait till later for tooth brushing but if you want to do it then you can but I can see how that would throw off the lemon water flavor a bit. As for the bloating, I find I actually get more bloated from lots of veggies or lots of salty foods as opposed to just drinking more water, but I know everyone can be different. I wonder if you need to drink less? Lately I saw another cool hack here where you only drink 75 oz. per day or around that by using these 3 -25 oz. water bottles.--131bottles.com-- Just fill them up the night before and try to drink them all by bedtime the next day and that's has helped me so much (I found my own cheaper versions of the bottles so I didn't have to spend $90- but the bottles are so cute!). Just a thought- ( :

    Do you ever put apple cider vinegar in your water? I’ve heard there are so many health benefits to it! Just wanted to find out your thoughts on this?

      I wish I could tolerate the flavor but it's not my favorite...so I avoid it. I'm sure it does have good health benefits though. Anyone else try it?

      I agree, definitely doesn’t taste the greatest! I use a very small amount, like a tablespoon in an 8oz. glass of water. Would you ever be willing to do a Q&A?! I think that would be such a fun video idea :)
