Bhutan - Gross National Happiness - English text

MadeToGrow is on a big journey, where we travel to countries around the world to learn and get inspiration from different ways on how human potential can be developed and what brings life and career quality.
Regardless of nationality and culture, most people in the world strive to be happy. Why is it that a small landlocked country in Asia has taken a totally different approach to development than most countries?
MadeToGrow had the pleasure to visit Bhutan on our world travel and got to meet some of those who really are and have been part of the Goss National Happiness work.

Mr. Powdyel’s career journey and contribution to the world is impressive, through his dedication to share Bhutan’s work on Gross National Happiness, in addition to his passion for transforming the education system. It was particularly great to get to meet Mr. Powdyel, as we figured during the conversation that he was on stage on a conference in Oslo in 2017, where Sissel Naustdal, the founder of MadeToGrow, attended.
