Wow, has it been over a year already?! Let me see if I can find some time to do a follow up video reviewing how they are/have been after a year; too much info to communicate through a comment.
I see that in one of your replies to an earlier comment that the 12 inch skillet has warped slightly. Even if customer service replaces it with a new skillet the pan will still warp. Unfortunately that is the nature of thin stainless steel fully clad pans. Calphalon's past tri-ply pans are thinner than All-Clad's which are 2.54mm thick. I doubt even these newer ones reach 3mm thick like Demeyere/Zwilling clad pans, and those warp too. I wouldn't be surprised if your similarly large saute pan has also warped, but warping upwards instead of down and giving the impression that it still sits flat.
First off sorry for the delayed response! Second, I haven't noticed any warping in the other pans in the set besides the one mentioned in my previous comment. Fingers crossed for now. I've contemplated just switched to mostly cast iron pans but they are a little be harder to manipulate around the stove for those with less arm/wrist/hand strength. Thanks for the comment!
@@Heathbar That's alright! Is it possible that it has warped upwards so the oil ends up pooling around the sides? I've also found that it takes longer for the smaller pans to warp, but eventually they will. But definitely fingers crossed. Yeah the weight is the main reason why I seriously dislike cast iron. It's just way too heavy for me in general. There are much thicker stainless steel pans out there but they're very pricey and are nearly the same weight as cast iron. Demeyere Proline/Atlantis.
@@AngelusBrady I checked for warping in multiple directions and nothing so far. One day I want to get something like the round griddle that Sam the cooking guy uses and I will cook everything on it; but that's pending funding haha
@dillon harper We've definitely put them through a beating already! The only issue we have noticed is that the 12" skillet is a tad wobbly on the stove now and was not originally. Probably indicates some change in shape of the metal bottom; all the others in the set sit perfectly flat with no wobble. Your comment actually reminded me that I need to contact their customer service about it, so thank you!
@FatMan Oh heck ya! He's a big boy and can down a solid 32floz of water in a single go; leaving a mess everywhere for us to clean up..... You can see him in other videos on our channel.
Good evening sir! Any updates on it? It's been more than a year. How have they been so far?

@@Heathbar I mean, just a summary. So far so good? Lol
@@Heathbarwell... It's been 2.5 years now. Hopefully you have an update on its durability and quality.

@@Heathbar That's good at least.
Hope one day you'll be able to buy your round griddle!
I know it hasn't been very long but have you had any issues with these yet? Thanks in advance!

@@Heathbar Do you wet them while they are still warm? That happens to the pots you have to let them cool down completely because they will bend.
I'm here 2024. 13-Piece Set still goes for $396.89 -$539.99
With what I know now I would probably buy pans individually rather than a set.
Cute kitty
You only say that cause you don't have to live with him! Hahahahha
Wonderin’ why you didn’t shop Sam’s or Costco’s & saved even more $$$?
We don't have a Costco or Sam's near us and don't have a membership to either one.
Ngl. I watched this so that i could find out how they fit back into the box. Lol
Hahahaha Glad we could help! Did you have issues with yours?
@@Heathbar phbphpbphpb. Yes i did. And the video was a great help on that regard.
Oh that's a bummer! What issue(s) did you have with them?
@@Heathbar i couldn’t find the right Tetris of lids and pans and their locations. I was pretty stumped with the sauce pans.
Oh ahahahha while that's sounds like a terrible game of Tetris I meant what issues did you have with the pots/pans?
I believe 20% off of $300 is $15 + the $50 back is $75 off of your cook wear set
I suck at math hahahha
Superb
Y’all have one thirsty dawg 😂

@@Heathbar just the sound of him drinking was more than funny 😂
Returning our set after boiling salt water that left a stain on the pot. Real stainless does not do that.
Interesting I don't know if we've experienced the same. I'll have to give our pans a look over and see. What did the stain look like?
