Haha, it's true. Most young people only know automatics in the US. I grew up driving a standard when I was a kid so it comes naturally to me, but not everyone is so lucky.
Why would you prefer a stick when kissing is so much cooler while driving. lol plus the free leg makes it even more interesting. I prefer a robot driver now lol
Saw your video, I have been married to a Lithuanian woman for 7 years now, our child was born in Vilnius, she is a Citizen of the USA and Lithuania ... we live part time in Vilnius, other place to go that I would love to live there is north of Vilnius, Palanga area, we are presently in Palanga now, the Baltic Sea is a little cool, but once you just dive in, your body adapts to it pretty quickly ... Lithuanians are very good people and many young people speak English, so, communicating is easy, but I tried to learn Lithuanian, extremely hard to learn. Thanks
It's so weird when English people think it's hard to learn Lithuanian. IDK I'am Lithuanian and i learned English so easy. I guess Lithuanian language is A LOT HARDER then English (MAYBE)idk :)
Your language is hard for me I went to the University there in Vilnius for about 3 months and I just couldn't get it and weird thing about it was I could read the language and understood it but speaking it was difficult. I'm learning Russian because it seems to be easier
Thank you for going to Lithuania. My grand father emigrated from there in the early part of the 20th century and I've always been curious about the country.
Omg! I actually live in Anyksciai, the town you guys went to. You should have stayed a full day out here. There are so many more places you would have loved. I.e there’s a village out of town, literally in the middle of the forest with a church and all.. I still can’t understand how they built it so many years ago. There’s a beautiful hanging bridge across the river. I mean you’ll never meet any groups of tourists there. The most people I’ve ever seen there was another couple. So quiet and so beautiful!
Cool Lil Yellow Bumble Bee Auto ,Yes Good To See Not The Only One To Shake Gas Pump Nozzle To Get All The Petrol Gas Out,Cool To See You Got To Enjoy Fall This Year.
I met a lithuanian woman on this bus the other day, Im from UK. We started chatting and had a few drinks, she was telling me that it is hard living in Lithuania. She was really nice and kind, she told me how her boyfriend just works gets home and drinks. She sounded fed up of him.
@0:58 there is building with sign "IN THE FUTURE EVERY BUILDING WILL BE WORLD-FAMOUS FOR FIFTEEN MINUTES". Where is that sign exactly? I seriously want to know because I lived in Lithuania my whole life and haven't seen such building :D
You guys are awesome, cant believe you sold all your things to go backpacking like this, looks like you're having a blast, so open-minded about other cultures its nice to see that in people.
The car is so cute! And so is Ashley - "curated wildlife"! 😊😀 Too bad you didn't really get to experience what you wanted to but road tripping is still a lot of fun even without a destination! 👌 Lotta/Lanttimatkat
My grandfather’s parents left Lithuania 🇱🇹 during the Russian Revolution. My paternal great grandpa (same line) was from Vilnius and served in the Romanov Army. My great grandma came from Kaunas. I met some Lithuanians here in NJ. I want to visit Lithuania 🇱🇹 soon.
my mum and my bestfriends mum grew up together in Lithuanian because they were born there and I honestly love going there, I go there with them together and I just love seeing my family and her family
There are many beautiful places much closer to Vilnius - a beautiful cave on the bank of river Neris, few km north of Nemencine town, with hanging bridge ! (quite impossible to cross lol), gorgeous lakes, a lot of them! (u can reach some using Vilnius public transport), Europe park (Europos parkas), exeptionally pure river Žeimena, the place where wild salmon travels, Trakai medieval castles (the only lake castles in Eastern Europe), cliffs of the river Neris, up to 50 m height (one of them - Pučkoriai, in the very heart of Vilnius). And these are the objects u can find just about 20-25 miles around Vilnius...
Hey guys this is the first video i'm watching from your channel and i am from Lithuania, Klaipeda and the witches hill is near Klaipeda city and the sculptures are insanely beatiful but you should come to Klaipeda
😂😂 we took our 10 year old (at the time) daughter to FL from PA in our Fiat!!! I gotta know, how long did it take you to figure out the reverse? I remember when we got ours we didn't know you had to pull up on the stick to get it to go in reverse! Talk about embarrassing!!!! Almost caught up on your vlogs! Yay!!!
When I was in Paris, I saw people actually lifting those little Fiats to get out of parking spaces...and Ashley--we're all distracted by Josh...as a Grammy, if I put the little ones in the front seat in their car seat, I would be in deep caca--babies, rear facing car seats in the BACK seat..this video INFO packed--Ashley your enthusiasm is contagious..makes me do my best to appreciate fall here in the northern VA. Fall is my wake up call that winter is just around the corner--ugh!
I have been in witches hill ( raganu kalnas ) once, it is a nice place to visit. There is a lot more places in Lithuania what is worth to see. This is my summer plan this year.
I was born in Lithuania and I am proud to have been born in a special country like Lithuania and I miss it to death because there I have all my brothers and sisters and then also my grandson 😍😍🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹
Witches Hill is a real thing and it is exactly as you described it - its a lovely hike trail in the woods with great carvings, however, it’s located in the Curorian Split which is about 300km away from where you were at the end of the video.
Watching your playlist 'all vlogs (from the beginning)' and this video isn't in it. I love watching all the videos and wouldn't want anyone missing this one.
Ashley...you simply must learn to drive a stick...you CAN you CAN...! I believe in you! I ,too, love Fall but seasonal changes are subtle in Florida...like an 8 degree temp drop and that is about it. BUT I am going to do some work in my home area of New England and excited to see the foliage...if the pictures come out good I will send you some! safe travels xo!
OMG!!! We were there and I am so so sad our videos are a bit behind because I totally would have taken you up on this. I LOVED Liège...like I want to live there one day so I am almost 95% sure we'll be back:) Thank you so much for the invite. -Ash
Omfggg. These roads... I know that all lol woah... Your close to my house haha. And Tree top walking.. Idk but yea.. I live very close to that.. One kid screamy... Gelbekit! Like help me!
Lol I turned on random video and I saw my uncle in gas station :D
I always find it funny that Americans are not used to driving manuals, while it's basically the norm to learn it that way
over here
Haha, it's true. Most young people only know automatics in the US. I grew up driving a standard when I was a kid so it comes naturally to me, but not everyone is so lucky.
