Agree, been there I met really great people and they introduced me to their traditional and food specialities, Having learned about their culture and visit some historical places. I only have a warm heart towards them.

I'm from Poland and I love Lithuania. I've never felt more like home in any other country. I want to learn Lithuanian language so one day I could move there. :3
Nice, i live in england and hope i move to Vilnius one day and i hope to start a Travel channel soon when i go back to vilnius as i am originally from Lithuania and ye the comment u posted is very very late like 3 years.
As a Lithuanian can definitely say the hill of crosses is one of the most beautiful places in Lithuania. Many more places that you can visit if you ever want to come back. Vilnius has a gorgeous castle
Your smile and good mood and undisturbed reactions are valuable. In my opinion, the most beautiful in Lithuania is the nature and castles, the ancient history we are dwelling on. Good luck to you!
My great grandparents are from lithuania. My grandparents were born in the USA then taken back to Kaunas in Lithuania. Hope to go one day to visit my heritage. Thank you for the video.
I am from šiauliai i love that you visited my town but there is much more to see next time come for a longer stay. I recommed to see Vilnius the capital, Druskiningai its very beautiful and has lots of lovely Spa, also visit the coast Palanga Klaipėda, Nida i hope you'll love our beaches. And if you'll visit Šiauliai again there are few more sites you can visit. like the villa of Frenkelis and golden boy statue it is not as grand as sights in Vilnius but Šiauliai was destroyed a lot durring WW II so that is why there is not much here also next time go to the candy factory called Rūta it makes amazing sweets
We just visited the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania on our Mini Retirement. We saw your cross but the names are long gone and the cross had fallen over with it starting to deteriorate like many of the others. We placed our own on the hill as well. Thanks for the videos and travel ideas.
Interesting video. Have never heard about that hill with the crosses. Will definitely have a look when we are in that area (even if it's a small hill as Nate says). Enjoy the rest of your week where ever you are. Best Regards from Maxi and Maro.
Traveller - Flight Reviews & Travel Videos Lithuania has much more then a hill of crosses. Vilnius- Lithuanian capital owns most oldest old town in all Europe.
Traveller - Flight Reviews & Travel Videos Hi im Lithuanian i can say all ot off words lithuanian ; labas as esu lietuve!!! But this country really sucks trust me!!!
Regarding the cold weather for September, I just checked my world atlas, and in Estonia, you're as far north as Juneau, AK, and even in the UK, you're at the same latitude as Churchill, Manitoba, Canada--the polar bear town on Hudson Bay. The only thing that keeps northern Europe from being a frozen wasteland is the ocean currents.
my great grama was from Lithuania! and grandmother on my mom's side was Russian! I suppose at least some were ok with the mix! haha. thank you so much for taking me along on the trip! I could never have imagined seeing my heritage country and you did it! it is so small and an out of the way country with few pictures. Thanks.
Šiauliai is one of the worst cities for tourists lol. If you happen to visit Lithuania again and you like nature more than industrial cities you should check out western Lithuania. Mainly Palanga and Kursiu nerija (Curonian Spit)
I like that this video was recommended to me on Easter. I loved the hill of crosses. I definitely want to visit Lithuania. I had never heard of the hill of crosses before this video.
Viltė Malinauskaitė Well it depends on what people are looking for. Klaipėda, Kuršių Nerija, Palanga and Ignalina are the more nature type snd other cities are some other type. It depends of the persons taste. You may like Kaunas they may like Vilnius. Personally I like: 1. Klaipėda, Kuršių Nerija, Ignalina, Vilnius ( they share 1st place for me ) 2. Šiauliai, Druskininkai, Birštonas ( 2nd place all ) 3. Other But if we are talking about Vilnius, Kaunas I like Vilnius more. ( Personally )
There was nothing wrong with their destination. I find the best places those that have no tourists because you get to see the real country - the real ordinary people and their lives on an ordinary day. I think it was a good choice. If you ever make back to the Baltic countries, visit the capital and Trakai. White sand dunes is another good choice but not always convenient to get to if visiting for a short period of time.
Same with going to UK, visiting only London. That isint what whole island is, and deffinetly not the true United Kingdom. Wanna see how locals live and how it feels for majority of population, visit less tourist friendly cities.
This is one of the BEST videos I've seen on UA-cam for a while. Thanks ever so much for exploring (off the beaten track) and for posting too! :-) Many thanks.
Hi guys nice to see some of the"off the beaten track" places as well as the popular spots. Must say your editing is great. You always nail the music with what you're showing. Nice job
Vilnius, Trakai, Kaunas, Neringa are place's to visit in Lithuania! Vilnius is capital city with nice oldtown and lot's of history, Neringa has amazing nature and beaches!
Yay!!! First comment. Allan and I were just sitting down to watch you guys and we about to watch an old video until we saw this uploaded one. Much love guys.. we are huge admirers and watch every episode!
My wife is Lithuanian from Siauliai and I have being there some many times since 2010. Cool video, I wish you had more time there, it's a beautiful country. Also wished you could show the church as I wanted to show my mom in Texas where my children were baptized :D But it's ok she will see her city and the Hill of Crosses. I live in Norway for the last 12 years, but plan to move there on the next years, beautiful language, culture and food. Most of the people is lovely once you get to know them well. Next time you are there, try to visit the Trakai Castle and Palanga as well, on the last it's a Amber Museum and a beautiful beach with has a very long extension and thin sand. Amazing on summer! Good luck on your future trips :)
4:00 Actually, normally everything in europe costs a lot, even a bottel of water. You guys keep impressing me with the cost-efficient plans and affordable fun things to do. Way to go!
Samwalton85 Prices is low in smaller towns, but if you go in Vilnius ( the capital of LTU) the price would be like in Paris. But the salaries are realy small
If you ever go back here's a little advice - the best month to go is June cause due to climate change it is really hot wich is rare in Lithuania and usually in June we have the best weather. Siauliai is like one of the dullest part of Lithuania - I'd say it is MUCH better to visit either kaunas, palanga, vilnius, klaipeda. Also there wasn't many people because august is when school starts and it's usually when it also gets cold.
I read it! Love you guys. This is my third time watching you from the beginning. I know I see something new each time! Thank you for sharing your life with us!❤️
Hii! I'm from Lithuania and I can tell ypu that this hill was a lot bigger and there was much more crosses, but some man set this hill on fire like couple years ago.. It's really sad becouse it was much more amaizing than now. Also. I'm so happy you decided to visit Lithuania!
The Compiler are your English teachers native or non-native speakers? I wanted to teach English as a Foreign Language, but I saw that the salary was not very good, and that there was racism in this industry.
I was just in Lithuania,I met really great people and they introduced me to their traditional and food specialities, Having learned about their culture and visit some historical places. I only have a warm heart towards them.
Just rewatched this vlog because I stopped at the hill of crosses yesterday. I somehow forgot the part where you show where you have put your cross so I could try to find it. Also, I am hoping as well that you will come back to Lithuania and explore the country more since there are a lot to see besides the the hill of crosses (of course, you chose one of the great places to visit in Lithuania). Best of luck!
Love this video, just the thought of what it represents for so many people makes you rejoice for the human spirit. Thanks for taking us so many wonderful places.Love you guys💖😀🇨🇦
Hey guys! Really good quality videos! This was so insane-you filmed the building i grew up in this city! I must admit that this wasn't the best choice for touring Lithuania. The environment really does resemble the "era of great depression", especially in this city. I totally understand your disappointment! Hopefully, if you ever decide to visit the Baltics again, when we have hot Summers (which we do lol), you'll visit the capital city and the seaside region which is breathtaking! However, i am giving a thumbs up! ;)
I hope you're going to Tallinn, Estonia. It's so great, I really think you'd love it. Also as an Australian I always get a kick out Siri telling you what's what.
I really enjoy this type of content. Seeing places I have yet to explore is super motivating. I currently live in China which is always quite an adventure but I love seeing experiences like you have had here in Lithuania. What a great place to make content. Looking forward to the next one.
Hey no worries. I like seeing couples get out there and do cool stuff. I have been lucky to see quite a bit of the world with my girlfriend which is has been so awesome. We live in a place called Qingdao which is really well placed to visit a bunch of destinations. All the best on your next adventures together.
I've never seen anyone come to Lithuania for such a short experience and odd location choice to be a tourist :). Nevertheless, like you guys said, it was a quick side option for the day. And honestly, any Lithuanian that's a fan of your channel appreciates that you guys at least did a video on it. Keep up the amazing videos!
Agree, enjoy the travel videos, just please next time at the sacred Hill of Crosses, please do not laugh repeatedly in video when walking through, each sacred cross is placed in sacred remembrance of a persecuted soul over several centuries, from martyred priests to innocent civilians who lost their lives to foreign invasions of Lithuania.
I lived in Klaipeda, Lithuania for several months in spring of 2017 and loved every moment of it! It's too bad I didn't know about Kara and Nate then because I could have found their cross and signed it when I visited the hill! Anyway, so glad they tried Kepta Douna (the fried bread with cheese) so yummy and easy to make even in the US, although its not as good as the real thing since our rye bread isn't as dark and ingredients aren't as fresh.
I live in Minneapolis MN and I found your videos a while ago. I have been watching from the beginning. Just got to this video and wish I would have known about you guys sooner. My brother in law and family are missionaries in Lithuania. They just got a church up and open it’s called Journey church. They also were is Estonia and started a church there. Thanks for all of the hard work! God Bless you guys!!
I'll tell you a secret about my country Lithuania. We do have the main citys, they are preaty, they are easily accsesable, and are most turisty spots out there... what you dont know, that we Lithuanians, mostly pride ourselves with our nature. So if you have a campervan, i suggest you waste some fuel, and drive around less populated roads, to the smaller 'villages'. Trust me, you'll feel like your in modern-medieval country. it's a strange feeling, but very much unique. We dont have mountains, but we have beutifull nature, that we try to pride ourselves with.
For some reason I really enjoy it this video. You know something different. I travel the world with you guys!! Be safe. Take care. You guys need to go to Rio de Janeiro!!!
I don't know why, but I feel Lithuania has a lot of 16th century influence intact, almost as if frozen in time. The old castles, lifestyle & dances, housing architecture...It's very interesting for me to see in these modern days. Kind of shocking, actually, lol!
If you want some spectacular views you should visit Vilnius - the capital and the biggest city in Lithuania! And you must see Vilniu’s old town! It’s beautiful! Good luck
Cool video. :) Regarding the garlick bread - there are two distinct types: "black" rye bread with lots of garlick (often no cheese), and "white" bread with mostly salt and cheese.
Lol you made the equivalent of going to America and only visiting Detroit. Siauliai is too much of a shithole even for us natives, I can't imagine there being anything of interest for foreign tourists
hmmmmm.. Well.. Siauliai is the 4th largest city in Lithuania, so it's equivalent to Huston. If your 4th largest city is a ''shithole'' ,I can't imagine your largest city being that much better. (and by the way, Vilnius was built by poles and jews, hence northen Jerusalem ^.^ )
That comparison is just flat out stupid, look at how many cities there are in US and then in Lithuania. Also Vilnius gets pretty much all the country's money, while the rest are just left to themselves to slowly decay, so there's a pretty major difference between Siauliai and Vilnius, it matters very little who the hell lived there a 200 years ago
If you ever go back to lithuania either visit: palanga which is a beach town resort place (i was born there) or the kaunas area as there is loads of stuff to do there aswell
Lithuania has much more to offer than this trashy hill... it is a pity that you did not see more of the country, only one random nearest city. the landscape is flat in the northern and central part of Lithuania because the glacier formed it 11 K years ago. and the last ice age glacier ended in southeastern Lithuania around our capital Vilnius, so it is nice to see how the landscape changes as you travel through the country.
I got intrigued by your 100 country goal and the amount you reached in the first year. So for kicks and giggles I mapped out a one year trip and figured out how I could hit about 38-40 countries in the first year by starting in Portugal. It allowed for mostly 10 days in each country with the exception of the mini countries (Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, San Marino). It was a fun thing to do! Loved your day in Lithuania! When I get to Lithuania, I'll try to find your cross so I can sign it (if there's still room!) Your lunch looked/sounded Amazing!!
Lil' Pliosaur fun fact most many of 'Poles' in Lithuania are Lithuanians who got Polonized after living under Polish occupation. Guess they thought by pretending to be Poles they would be treated better and they remained so for generations now. That is why they can't even speak proper Polish. Only of mixture of Polish and Russian. And they are most vocal parts of 'minorities' here too.
I love your channel because you are from Nashville and that is my home and I love to travel. Also I’ve been to some of the places you’ve gone to, and it’s good to see them again through different eyes. Thank you so much
Hey guys! I am from Lithuania and I must say - you must visit the capital of Lithuania - Vilnius and coastal city - Klaipeda ❤️ Šiauliai is not a touristy city at all. It only has ‘Hill Of Crosses’ but that’s about it. Anyway , glad that you got to taste - kepta duona (fried bread) & bulviniai blynai (potatoe pancake) 👍 these are definitely some of Lithuanian treasures 🤗 Loved this video and still can’t believe that you visited my home country 😌
Hi guys! I am in the process of getting caught up on watching some of your earlier vlogs. Kara, I have to say that your editing skills are getting noticeably better and better. You can have the best subject matter and all of the fancy equipment known to mankind, but if you don't have the ability to put it all together the end result can be mediocre. You are so far from mediocre! I hope that you are able to continue to put your talent to use once you return home.
My next door neighbour is footballer from Lithuania and playing for my hometeam in Scotland! Him and his wife are so lovely, they have a little girl 🇱🇹🏴
Actually, Šiauliai is also well known for their museums. Bike museum, photography museum, CAT MUSEUM OMG. Please visit again. I am from Kaunas, but Šiauliai is my second favourite city.
What did you do to all the people tell them that you were going to charge them to be on your post the place was deserted for the lovely road and nice buildings must have been a town meeting somewhere stay safe
Bene C Town meetings in Lithuanian? What are you, gay? Just kidding, but we don't do that, only if that's on Christmas when there are concerts at the cathedral, then that night with fellow Lithuanians is lit.
TheDeadLinger well actually it's me who's gay. But it's okay. I guess I should blame myself for having to deal with your hatered, since I could have just killed myself when I was bullied and threatened daily in school
Mhm all lithuanians just hid, you know. Doing "seacret meeting" and "plotting " how to get rid of you. What an duche you are, person. People at work. That's the right answer. If you think everyone will run to meet tourists, it's wrong country. There be like zero people, who would even consider doing the "act" for the post. You would look like weirdo offering money. Maybe people will even call cops on you. And that "stay safe" statement... Are serious? Oh wait the town meeting. I ge it. Be aware of the plot twist. XD
Looks like you been on a work day in Šiauliai, nobody is there(everyone has to wok in this copuntry to survive, no parties all day/night ;) ), lol. And yes, this is not a touristy town, it is pretty dead thing to see, you have to go to Kaunas and Vilnius for that, Trakai in summer or other touristy places.
my best friend is from Lithuania, it's beautiful. You should've really gone to Kaunas or Vilnius as there's more to explore there, but the entire country is amazing.
"Amber is a thing" for tourists. :) I haven't seen locals really wearing a lot of it. But I love it. Almost ALL bars in LT have garlic bread. That's definitely a thing! With beer. And this summer WAS pretty cold. Visit us again! ^^ Btw, the Hill also looks very impressive at night!
How interesting. I know very little about Lithuania. That is a very cool place, with all those crosses. Never knew such a thing existed, and even if I had, somehow I wouldn't think it would be in Lithuania. As for the country's agriculture, I just did a little research, and it looks like the top 3 crops are: Potatoes, Barley and Wheat. So it was likely one of those crops that had just been harvested when you saw the fields.
Thank you Kara and Nate for your great vlogs, your love for life and each other are such an inspiration to me. The World is so amazing with it's stunning beauty, diverse cultures and delicious foods which you capture so well. Your travel experiences have been such a blessing. This vlog may not have been as impressive as far as the scenery and excitement of many of the others that I've watched, however it touched my heart profoundly with the message you wrote on the cross. So true. Thank you! Bon Voyage. (I don't speak Lithuanian :)

They grow a lot of rapeseed, used to make canola oil. If you go in early May, it's all yellow flowers in those fields as the rapeseed blooms.
Interesting video. Have never heard about that hill with the crosses. Will definitely have a look when we are in that area (even if it's a small hill as Nate says). Enjoy the rest of your week where ever you are. Best Regards from Maxi and Maro.

You guy look like the happiest people in the world! It's makes your videos very pleasant to watch.
It feels so weird to watch a vlog in english that's been made in my country. I get a really strange feeling tbh i don't know why.

Hi. Can we speak English and Russian in Lithuania?
The Compiler thanks for sharing. I am curious as to how English is taught in Lithuania. I presume it is taught as a foreign language?
The Compiler are your English teachers native or non-native speakers? I wanted to teach English as a Foreign Language, but I saw that the salary was not very good, and that there was racism in this industry.
I was just in Lithuania,I met really great people and they introduced me to their traditional and food specialities,
Having learned about their culture and visit some historical places.
+Susan Duquette glad you liked it 💜
Hey guys! Really good quality videos! This was so insane-you filmed the building i grew up in this city! I must admit that this wasn't the best choice for touring Lithuania. The environment really does
resemble the "era of great depression", especially in this city.
+Vanessa Norlander We did 🤗 next vlog! Haha love my Aussie Siri!!!
Thanks for visiting our country I love Lithuania I live in Lithuania every single tourist is a lot to me
I really enjoy this type of content. Seeing places I have yet to explore is super motivating. I currently live in China which is always quite an adventure but I love seeing experiences like you have had here in Lithuania. What a great place to make content. Looking forward to the next one.
+jackrubycrew So great to hear! Glad you are enjoying our videos! Thank you 🤗
Hey no worries. I like seeing couples get out there and do cool stuff. I have been lucky to see quite a bit of the world with my girlfriend which is has been so awesome. We live in a place called Qingdao which is really well placed to visit a bunch of destinations. All the best on your next adventures together.
Such a sweet gal, some guys are just lucky to have such a happy fun lady In their lives. 😊
Your comment at the end if anybody reads it....I do. I think your posts/videos are awesome and please don't stop with the written epilogues!
+smthbear808 aww thanks! Good to know 😉
I live in Minneapolis MN and I found your videos a while ago.
No Vilnius and Trakai castle=No Lithuania :( Šiauliai is not a touristy place.
Vilnius is not lithuanian. It was built by jews and poles and had a lihuanian population of 0.8-3% from 1870 till 1930's
Lemon Compiler in those times didn't matter what nationality people lived in cities, everything was decided by rulers.
so whhat now isnt 1930s and lithuanians make 80procent population in that city
I'll tell you a secret about my country Lithuania. We do have the main citys, they are preaty, they are easily accsesable, and are most turisty spots out there...
what you dont know, that we Lithuanians, mostly pride ourselves with our nature. So if you have a campervan, i suggest you waste some fuel, and drive around less populated roads, to the smaller 'villages'. Trust me, you'll feel like your in modern-medieval country. it's a strange feeling, but very much unique.
We dont have mountains, but we have beutifull nature, that we try to pride ourselves with.
Heeyy. Latvian here. Hope you had fun!🕺🏽🇱🇻
+Venue of course!

Um this iš not Lithuania
@@eliksyras ya what the fuck Ilze kreicmane
I just can't believe!!!you haven't seen all the beauty of this country!
Good luck
Cool video. :)
Regarding the garlick bread - there are two distinct types: "black" rye bread with lots of garlick (often no cheese), and "white" bread with mostly salt and cheese.
Also Vilnius gets pretty much all the country's money, while the rest are just left to themselves to slowly decay, so there's a pretty major difference between Siauliai and Vilnius, it matters very little who the hell lived there a 200 years ago
by poles and jews? vilnius was build in medievel times by lithuanian king mindaugas
Vidmantas Briska Iam from Lithuania as you can from my name and surename 🇱🇹🇱🇹🇱🇹
no way sherlock
If you ever go back to lithuania either visit: palanga which is a beach town resort place (i was born there) or the kaunas area as there is loads of stuff to do there aswell

I live in Lithuania, Vilnius.
me too vilniuje
Lina Audronytė as irgi vilniuje
Aš gyvenu šiauliuose :)
Lithuania has much more to offer than this trashy hill... it is a pity that you did not see more of the country, only one random nearest city.
the landscape is flat
in the northern and central part of Lithuania because the glacier formed it 11 K years ago. and the last ice age glacier ended in southeastern Lithuania around our capital Vilnius, so it is nice to see how the landscape changes as you travel through the country.
I am from Lithuania 🇱🇹
Same!!!! But I was born in Ireland and my parents are from Lithuania ;-;
Kams Msp I was born in Lithuania but I live in Ireland
Glalie AS IRGI MATAS
I Am too!
Hi
I got intrigued by your 100 country goal and the amount you reached in the first year. So for kicks and giggles I mapped out a one year trip and figured out how I could hit about 38-40 countries in the first year by starting in Portugal. It allowed for mostly 10 days in each country with the exception of the mini countries (Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, San Marino). It was a fun thing to do!
Loved your day in Lithuania! When I get to Lithuania, I'll try to find your cross so I can sign it (if there's still room!) Your lunch looked/sounded Amazing!!
>went to Lithuania
>failed to visit Vilnius
>Seen nothing
While I visited Nashville TN at that time LOL
Lil' Pliosaur historical monuments for starters?
Lil' Pliosaur you mean smaller and with terrible roads? No thanks.
It's funny, because now Kaunas has much much better roads than other cities in LT
ignorant what's wrong with polish people
Lil' Pliosaur fun fact most many of 'Poles' in Lithuania are Lithuanians who got Polonized after living under Polish occupation.
Thank you so much
Blet atvaziavo i Lietuva ir aplanke tik kaima.. mldc..
Koki dar kaima? Siauliai vienas is didziausiu Lietuvos miestu, grybe tu.
Oh please.
Hey guys! I am from Lithuania and I must say - you must visit the capital of Lithuania - Vilnius and coastal city - Klaipeda ❤️ Šiauliai is not a touristy city at all. It only has ‘Hill Of Crosses’ but that’s about it.
Anyway , glad that you got to taste - kepta duona (fried bread) & bulviniai blynai (potatoe pancake) 👍 these are definitely some of Lithuanian treasures 🤗
Loved this video and still can’t believe that you visited my home country 😌
I was in Lithuania and I can speak Lithuanian my mom,dad and my brother were born in Lithuania
Toma Pelakauskaite Your acount name is also Lithuanian
Toma Pelakauskaitė
I might be interested in moving to Kaunas or Vilnius, do a lot of people over there speak Russian?
My brother and my sister were born in Ireland but me my mum and my dad were born in Lithuania and I can also speak Lithuanian XD
Really enjoyed your Lithuania video and plan to watch more of your travel. Thanks so much for sharing.
Idk i don’t live in Lithuania anymore. Siauliai is where I used to live and it’s not really a touristy place. Vilnius is where I LOVEEE going though.
This iš hat happens when your grandparents were idiotus. IT gous from gen to gen.

Planning a trip to Lithuania next year. Hill of crosses is already in the bucket list!!
Why didn’t u go to Kaunas or maybe Vilnius
Or Taurage
Kara is so childish 😂 even though she is tired or not still she can put a smile on her pretty face that's the reason why I love Kara
Nice video guys. Just been there and did a vlog from Kaunas and Vilnius.
I hope you return to Lithuania as there is SO MUCH more to see than what you covered!
Hi! Your crosse is still there 💞 checked two minutes ago 💕
Bene C Lt doesn't do town meetings. There are actually not that many people populating the country
I guess I should blame myself for having to deal with your hatered, since I could have just killed myself when I was bullied and threatened daily in school
population density in lithuania and latvia is very low.
XD
I'm living lithuania and I'm glad you visit my town thanks and have best day
Welp... we have Vilnius, the capital. And Kaunas, Šiauliai. What about Klaipedą? You missed alot ppl
oh that was so cute guys ;) come back anytime and visit as well Nida, Klaipeda, Palanga, Kretinga ;) seaside is great! x
Hearing it from Ronaldo is great! :)
I have been there too!And I am half-lithuanian but i live in Greece.Lithuania is a very beautiful country!
Looks like you been on a work day in Šiauliai, nobody is there(everyone has to wok in this copuntry to survive, no parties all day/night ;) ), lol. And yes, this is not a touristy town, it is pretty dead thing to see, you have to go to Kaunas and Vilnius for that, Trakai in summer or other touristy places.
and druskininkus too
Omg it's the best thing to see my country, my city streets and school in your chanel.
they have a huge street and there is no people" you know why? cause all are emigrated, or drinking piwa in some ciuvakas house:D
White Dog true lmao 😂😂😂😂😂
Or it was actualy a work day and they are working there asses to feed there family -.-
Emigrated ? Where
my best friend is from Lithuania, it's beautiful. You should've really gone to Kaunas or Vilnius as there's more to explore there, but the entire country is amazing.
Sveiki

labsdiens is latvian in lithuanian it would be laba diena

"Amber is a thing" for tourists. :) I haven't seen locals really wearing a lot of it. But I love it. Almost ALL bars in LT have garlic bread. That's definitely a thing! With beer. And this summer WAS pretty cold. Visit us again! ^^
Btw, the Hill also looks very impressive at night!
Jesus is so amazing! Such inspiration that hill
I'm from Lithuania and I love my country! I live in the Uk though, but I'm going back to Lithuania in about 2 weeks now! Can't wait!
Heyyyy meee too are you there now?
75%Lithuanians watching this video (me)
25%People from other countries are watching this
We found your cross. It is still there 😉
I've been there cause I'm lithuanian
How interesting. I know very little about Lithuania. That is a very cool place, with all those crosses. Never knew such a thing existed, and even if I had, somehow I wouldn't think it would be in Lithuania.
As for the country's agriculture, I just did a little research, and it looks like the top 3 crops are: Potatoes, Barley and Wheat. So it was likely one of those crops that had just been harvested when you saw the fields.
you should go to Vilnius to the tower
Cia tipo i Gedimina?
Vaidas Tribulauskas which is sliding...
Vaidas Tribulauskas yeah! ¡!!! Its so cool
Vaidas Tribulauskas yo
Jo
Thank you Kara and Nate for your great vlogs, your love for life and each other are such an inspiration to me. The World is so amazing with it's stunning beauty, diverse cultures and delicious foods which you capture so well. Your travel experiences have been such a blessing. This vlog may not have been as impressive as far as the scenery and excitement of many of the others that I've watched, however it touched my heart profoundly with the message you wrote on the cross. So true. Thank you! Bon Voyage.
(I don't speak Lithuanian :)
