Beautiful Car👍👌!!!
Greetings from Amsterdam 💯

Now this is what a Maserati should be. They are stepping in the right direction.
Despite the lack of a redesign, it's actually refreshing to see a more analog vehicle like this. I actually really like this car, never thought I'd say that about the Quattroporte.
I like some analogue-ness in a car too. Not the basic bitch things found in modern mercs, audis etc.
I personally don't mind the lack of redesign on this car. And I like analogs too
Wow Maserati finally making good cars again
Finally
Actually the discontinued GranTurismo MC Sport was THE best Maserati by far. The only one hand-built with excellent fit and finish in the original factory in Modena, with 100% Ferrari V8 engine from Maranello. ;)
@@Isalei84 *disapproves in MC20
Kia stinger type
They never stopped
Now we just need a video on that 4C 🙌
Haha I wanted it! They were working out a deal on it so we’ll see if it get scooped or if I Have to wait for another one
Alfa Romeo 4C? this is not the same catergory, very good car, but Alpine A110 S is way better. If you talk about 8C she had a V8 of the same family a great design, but this car is a total disaster on tricky road or track... like your muscles cars but costs x 20 when you buy it and the maintenance only to be able to drive it.
He doesn't fit in Alfa 4C
Alfa 4c 🤘
ua-cam.com/video/nvktZdUkgSg/v-deo.html 🎬👀🦵🏾🔥
This actually looks amazing. I like the blend of elegance and sportiness. Sounds great too
They have finally given it the motor it oh so deserves.
Jazzed to hear about the Ghibli with the same motor.
The ghibli’s getting the same engine?!
Wow that’ll be nice.
@@maximusdecimusmeridius4325 You bet! Starts at $109k
This motor has been in the quattroporte since 2014 I believe in the GTS. I have a 15 Quattroporte GTS. Same motor, 523hp. Trust me though, I wish my engine looked like that and had 580hp lol.
@@intruder217ESmith Ik how you feel
I have a 2017 Quattroporte SQ4 and love it! The suspension in normal mode is a little floaty for me and you will bottom out the car if you drive fast over a speed bump. But the exhaust sound in sport mode sounds awesome especially when shifting between gears you can hear the exhaust kind of boom. It almost sounds like a canon shot. Mine is white exterior with red interior and it gets looks and comments all the time. I had someone park beside me one day in kind of a beat up car and as I got out he said he parked beside me to keep someone else from parking too close and dinging me. LOL. If you want to stand out from the ordinary crowd of German cars then you won't regret this Maserati!
Owned an 07 Quattroporte years ago and LOVED driving it! I've driven many sportier and faster cars than it since and haven't felt that solid planted down, I just want to go fast feel that quattroporte gave me.
I like this channel a lot, since I have gotten my license around 4 1/2 months ago (Yes I am a fairly new driver) I've been always finding excuses to drive places and have never let down a driving experience whether it be near or far. Keep up the good content!
Have always had a big place in my heart for Maserati... taught my little son to say "Maserati " when he was tiny... he nailed it, before he learnt to speak properly! Thanks again for a fantastic review :)
I really like the analog instrument cluster, looks really good imo
Always loved the Quattroporte , terrified of the depreciation that steamrollers you as soon as you drive it from the dealership. However, they are a great buy second hand with full manufacture warranty. I no longer need the big four door high speed cruiser but if I did it’s be on the list. I had the GranTurismo for 3 years and that was awesome, loyal and fault free to drive. Now we’re in a Porsche 911 which is totally different but great fun also
Maserati stepping up their game, I'm really glad. Excellent video as always ✔
Italian heritage here and getting goosebumps!
Ps: you should try out that 4C...
Glad they have gone back nearer to the incredible 2006-2011 body shape.
I cant wait until these depreciate
Won’t take long
I too would like to thank Boston Motorsports for lending Tedward these vehicles! only way i get to know these cars
Yessss!
Just found this channel and got some new headphones. I'm really appreciating the audio experience in your videos.
Thanks Edward!
@@TedwardDrives You forgot the 'T'.....
One of my favorite designs on Maserati's is how the hood curves down giving it that really aggressive look. Beautiful car.
This car still looks very beautiful even though it needs a redesign
I'm really digging the smokey tail lights
@@TedwardDrives 👍
hey, atleast they updated the interior which was a big thing
It doesn't, it's perfect like it is
Best looking saloon next to the new flying spur
Been a while since Ive heard this many positive things about a Maserati!
I'm so in love with that car 😍😍🔥
Wow, I was very surprised by the way that engine looked... Very surprised. I am not a huge engine guy, I am more a feeling the power kind of guy, but that is a nice engine. The only thing I don't like about the car is that while it is absolutely beautiful, some ambient lighting as well as a metal accented steering wheel instead of those plastic buttons would go a long way in my humble opinion. I also like the redesigned tail-lights and metal speaker grilles would spruce up the cabin as well.
Thanks Maserati for finally bring us touchscreen entertainment system🥳
The intake manifolds on ferrari engines are so ICONIC, seeing them in a different car is odd but fitting
I'll buy it in 3 years when it's 22,000 dollars
anyone who buys one of these or a maserati new is missing some marbles
God bless for depreciation
@footballcoreano troll
@@hx.925 Repair bill will be $24,000
@@hx.925 - I think you'll have to wait a lot longer than 3 years. ;-) 6 at least.
If you can afford one of these new, you don't give two shits about depreciation.
I have a 2007 Quattroporte 4.2 ltr V8 ferrari built engine .........its only done 34000 miles and i picked it up for £11000 two years ago and have yet to have any problems with it . 400 horse power nateraly asperated engine still gives so much grunt I can only imagen what it would be like with twin turbo !!..................for a 5 meter 2 ton car it drives like a proper sports its fantstic ,i love it !! .......and it is very good on the eye !
Combination of Luxury & Power in 1.
A great review by a driver who drives cars hard and well in real world conditions without destroying the rear tyres in 20 miles like Jeremy 'ooh look at me, I know how to drift' Clarkson!
For me, this is definitely the most desirable luxury saloon on the market today! not contrived, old skool, single-minded Italian mien, while rivals are becoming ever more boring, contrived capitalistic, self-driving, tablets interiors, etc...
The Best Car of the World 💪🏻💪🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Maserati is stepping it up I’m proud of them! I hope they get rid of some of the plastics, then it would be next level luxury
It's amazing that they get good performance out of roughly 240 cubic inches of displacement
Compression ratio is probably insanely high.
You know what? I was totally expecting the interior to suck and remind me of cars from 2005, but I am pleasantly surprised!
I thought so too. I sat down in the rear for the first time while I was filming it and I was really impressed.
I think for some amount of people that like rwd (most of them ? all of them ?), it's this little "danger" red beacon light in the back of the head that gives this thrill, but it's so rewarding. On the dry not so much unless you have tons of jam or you really pushing. But as soon as the condictions changes a slight bit, wet patch, winter etc, you know you'll have to manage your inputs an this is what's cool (I like beeing involved in the driving part), sure, on a daily basis, in a bad climate region, having awd safety is a peace of mind and you know its works so good. But as a fun/second car or what, having something that can bite you is also part of the rwd fun. What I liked about the e39 m5 the first time, it's how docile it is at low speeds, but as you open throttle, man it's a nice car to be in !
That sounds great
The kind you presentated this lovely car was excellent! You thought about so many things (radius of turn around and stuff).
I really enjoyed watching it :)
Best wishes from Germany,
Knopfi
Beautiful car! Greetings from Italy ;)
Loving the high-quality B-roll!
Thanks!
This car is so cool. The Ghibli Trofeo is going to be even cooler, but neither of them will sell well. This is exactly the car that people say they want, but something they never actually buy these days.
Maybe because it’s $170,000 + and the competition still offers better bang for buck
@@mark1542 “Bang for your buck”. A BMW M8 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes AMG GT are similar money. Both would leave this in the dust, but neither of them can match the cool factor that this car has. Maserati’s have taken a lot flack in recent years for not being able to keep up with the competition, but the badge still commands a lot of respect. Not to mention, this is the only 4-door luxury sedan with a Ferrari V8 under the hood. This is a car for a person that’s not shopping based on stat-sheet performance metrics and info the motoring magazines will tell you, but for a person that wants an experience that is wholly different from the competition. Unfortunately, that buyer doesn’t really exist anymore. Especially in the *$150,000 price bracket.
This is beautiful, so if they upgrade the Ghibli to close to this quality, they will have to make a lot more of them.
I like the Maserati roll you're on. The Ghibli S RWD video was great too. Levante Trofeo next. And Ghibli Trofeo for that matter.
Looking forward to the Ghibli trofeo!
Serious ride, Loved my 2014 GTS QP , however have to wait a bit till these depreciate, Amazing looking ride.
Am I the only one, who thinks this would be a really good cannonball car?
You are not
love the dials , analog baby
This is the Italian Redeye 💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for your super great videos that you made.these are motivating me to keep working and don’t give up until the day that I can buy the car like this.
You know it's a good car when the name is Italian.
I already loved maserati but this😍
I just configured it in the website. Hope to get it one day
Thank you...thank you...thank you :) I have been waiting for A MQT review and there seems to be little info about when it was being released. Then bam you deliver the first one on YT that I am aware of. You are "DE MAN"!
Thanks Chad! I was really surprised that there was almost zero information about this car. Certainly exciting to be one of the first to drive it
Amazing videos, love Bentley and Maserati
Nothing beats Coffee and Eggs with Tedward!
Dream car
I didn’t even know the newer ones had a V8, and it still has a very Maserati flare about it. Hopefully you get to drive a good example of one of the older ones with the 4.7 V8 that sounded like nothing else
Most underrated car's brand
When I see Tedward upload I click. 💯
Can’t wait to see these going for 30k in 3 years
Adore this car. Brilliant review.
Nice when these hit the pre-owned market.
Got the opportunity to drive a Lavante Trofeo last year, I was actually quite impressed! I haven't much liked most of Maserati's recent product line, the last great car they built IMO being the GranTurismo, but it stuck around soooo long that by the end of its production it seemed like such an old, and overpriced design. With the Lavante's, Ghibli's, and QP's... though I DO understand the complaints of shared Dodge buttons, and less than stellar quality in some areas, if you can look past these low points, the handling, sound, and overall driving experience is quite stellar. I was surprised how well the big Trofeo on its squishy air suspension can actually firm up and really handle on a winding back road! And there is something to be said about it being such a unique choice in the ultimate SUV market. Though you may see V6 new Maserati's around every day, its not all that often you see one of these new Trofeo or GTS's....
this video is my fav💪🏽💪🏽
brilliant. a true dream car.
0:50 oh my god that sounds unreal 😍😍😍
The Quattroporte is a great vehicle, but still has shared FCA parts in it. The discontinued GranTurismo was the best model offered by Maserati. It had a the best sound, it was hand-built in Modena with no shared parts and superior fit and finish, V8 engine 100% Ferrari made in Maranello, and it had the timeless Pininfarina design.
The Trofeo trim is the only one worth buying in the quattroporte and ghibli
I wonder if they fixed the leather peeling issue that I had on my 2016 Ghibli? I don’t care what anyone says about Maserati I absolutely love these cars they’re smooth, fast, handles country roads really well, and sound amazing, before 2017 they didn’t have many features and the infotainment screen was horrid but if you get one get a 2018 or newer.
holy shit, this is a big step forward for maserati. they finally got their quality back up to par with the rest of the industry
I'm actually looking for reviews of new trofeo lineup for months since maserati introduced. This is the ver first video. I am waiting for ghibli trofeo, that will be totally new experience.
Looking forward to getting my hands on it!
Not really a fan of FCA cars.. but they're doing really well with Maserati. Would love to drive one of these for sure.
Busted! Lane keep assist only bothers those who don't properly use the turning signal when changing lanes. 😁
Great review. If I was in the market for a luxury sedan, that would be it.
somehow completely missed any news of this or the Ghibli getting the nuts Trofeo trim . finally a decent alternative to M and AMG!
I think the marketing has been way too quiet about these new Trofeo models.
Top car..amazing
He could easily recognise V8 with its sound
Love this brand
Maserati is coming back it’s good cars again. The mc20 is also coming back
Omg look how that carbon fiber shines under the sun
Another great video! Can we see you drive an Alfa Guilia Quadrifolio?
Such beautiful analog dials, would trade any boring LCD screen for those if I was ever to buy a post-2005 car (very unlikely)
The infotainment system is new to bigger than the previous year
This is what beauty means to me!
Thank you for first video on UA-cam with that baby
No problem 😊
We still love tedward
I would definitely choose this over a boring s class.
Imagine calling the S class "boring" and choose this overpriced piece of shit over the S class
@@Timesplitter888 not no peice of shi
@@Timesplitter888 this isn’t overpriced well what u call a Bugatti then huh? Bugatti or Benz huh?
@@Timesplitter888 this is slightly better than the s class cuz it feels sportier and luxurious at the same damn time and the bently flying spur and the bmw and especially the Audi but the maybach and the rolls Royce hits different
@@mdegaming1706 explain to me how bugatti and mercedes are overpriced?
Can't wait to get it for 20 grand in the next 4 years.
my favourite car🔱
Maserati ❤
I imagine that a tune would wake that up very nicely as well.
agreed...and we know that gearbox could shift faster. A transmission tune would go a long way
Honestly I prefer the Quattroporte IV series. The actually series have a platform derivated by Chrysler LY, meanwhile the preview series is a real Ferrari saloon with transaxle trasmission and very balanced weight.
" But then we put it in sport mode, oh hohoho"
Almost at 100k!!
So close!!
@@TedwardDrives congratulations on 100k man here's to 1 million 🤙🏼
Nice Ferrari.
Congrats on 100k!!! Only way is up ⬆️ 👌🏼
Thanks Dominic!
It should have all those things if you’re paying 140,000$. None the less beautiful car I would just rather spend money on the competitor car. Only thing convincing me buying that is the engine
Hey Tedward any chance you could turn right out of the dealership and drive around storrow drive and memorial drive. I like watching your videos because I like seeing roads that I know and I drive on those roads frequently.
Despite being old as sin I couldn't care less. These cars are a work of art, but I'd want double the money it's worth before I bought it
They mated the Hellcat's (and 392) 8 speed ZF to a 488 Engine, which is hella dope. But heard some have failures which sucks for the brand
they dont actually suprising
That car shifts really great! 😉👍🏻
What a beatiful car :)
