I want to take a minute to thank you for taking the time to make this video, you’ve helped me and certainly SO many other people, at no benefit to yourself except to help other people. GOOD PERSON!!!!

Thank you so much! This video was such a big help. Literally took a minute to do it. I didn’t have a tool like yours but I used a tool that opens paint cans. It worked no problem. The first video I watched the guy was using a screw driver and cut himself in the process....yeah no not following that advice. Thanks again for this video - concise and helpful!

Thanks so much for taking the time to make this video! I have been dealing with my visor knocking me in the head for the last 10 years...I'm so over it! Hoping to fix it in the next few weeks now that I know I got this!

Did not have the pick screwdriver, but I ended up using a combination of a fork and a bent double-sided wrench to get the cover off. I had to absolutely destroy it as well but this video was very helpful. Thanks!!!

  • @Mahigeer1

The bent tool made it much easier to remove the cover. Some other presenters do it the hard way. Thanks for the tip.

THANK YOU for this short and easy to follow video!!! I was able to change my visor on my own in about 30 seconds just as advertised...lol! And a HUGE THANK YOU for saving me about $300 because that is what the dealer quoted me to do the SAME THING!!!

This is an excellent tutorial for replacing a visor. I was able to complete the replacement in just a few minutes! The real key was getting that tool at Ace Hardware. I saw other videos where people used a screwdriver, and had all sorts of problems getting the old visor down, including denting the headboard. Do yourself a favor, and get that tool - makes the job so easy! Thank you again for posting this excellent video!

That trim piece also serves to keep those clips from disappearing into your headliner cavity. Make sure the bosses on that trim piece are spreading those spring clips slightly before installing

Thank you so much for explaining step by step so thoroughly, especially about the very last step and the plastic trim piece; that step is essential to hold on the visor, and the other videos didn't explain that! I'll be checking here first next time I have a question to see if you have a video that'll help!

  • @thewayiseeit6710

i followed this video and it right on the money. but it took me a lot long than 40 seconds to get the piece out. that was the hardest part. took me more like 30 minutes. keep in mind that you have to pry one end and then the other.
