I know Scarra can do it. Type 2 is reversible. He loses the weight, his blood sugar levels go down, he won't be diabetic anymore and since treatment for type 2 is a lifestyle change, Scarra's gonna be so fit.
Can't wait to see the Don get buff.

First, fantastic video. I love that OTV used their platform to not only get healthy, but to inspire their fan base
Second, vodka and Gatorade Zero for low calorie drinking. I don't drink anymore, but this was one way to get drunk while keeping calories down 😂

birth control changes weight gain and loss, pcos changes it, antipsychotics change it, etc. weight is not that simple and ppl need to be aware of their specific situation. theres a lot of things that make weight out of ur control or u have to lose it differently. this is why u go to doctors and nutritionists for ur personal situation

This! There is weirdly a lot of things that you think would be unrelated but they do lead to weight gain/loss out of your control; like you said birth control, certain medications, thyroid issues, depression, hormone changes, aging, ect…

Just controls how you feel, it’s still calories in calories out

Those factors affect the "calories out" part of the equation though. Two people of the same age, sex, weight, height, and activity level can have very different calorie burn depending on all of those things. People will assume that an online calculator gives you an accurate estimate of your calorie burn but it can be extremely inaccurate if you're struggling with something like PCOS.

I would say a healthy way to gain weight are nuts. Cashews, almonds, peanuts, and more

There is a difference between carbs. Take a simple nutrition class if you want to take it seriously. Tbh it’s a simple class too

Losing weight is just calories in and out. Losing weight and gaining muscle is that PLUS protein intake. Carbs are the main energy source, protein is the main building block. Reduce carbs and fats (dont completely cut them out) and mainly focus on protein if your goal is muscle growth/definition. If youre only worried about losing weight, just eat less.

this doesnt work for everyone and we need to stop acting like it does. and saying to "just eat less" is how eating disorders start and is why ppl should talk to doctors and nutritionists instead of randos on the internet. everyone's body is different and in 2024 we should know this by now

@@skybear17 it does work for everyone, no ones body is getting fatter in a defecit, thermodynamics dont care what disorder you have, if you spend the energy your body has to get it from somewhere (your food or your fat) . No one said to starve yourself, even i only eat in a 500 defecit max when im trying to lose weight.
