I also already voted. I voted for the girl on DiPP's cover myself, as well as Okina, Miko, Yuuma, Murasa, Mokou and Tsukasa. The funniest thing is, I actually have a Ten Desires character on my Top 10, just that it's Miko.
I'll probably wait until next year's video though, 7th was surprisingly difficult to track down. (I was considering going for several characters, the most obscure being YuugenMagan and the Youkai Foxes (I liked the antics the Fake-Marisa Fox had in WaHH). I went with Minamitsu.

Nah, not my kind of character. Perhaps if she was blonde... with blue eyes and short hair... yeah... something like a doll with poison-related abilities, one that lives in a field of beautiful flowers like the lily-of-the-valley, imagine a character much younger than old mamizou, I imagine she would be the cutest and funniest character in the series, do you think ZUN would make a character like that?
(Edit) I just realized that Touhou already has a character like that, her name is Medicine Melancholy! Such a great and based character. Anyway my other picks were Kaguya, Alice, Flan, Sagume, Eirin and Star.

I for my part am keeping a close eye on Mugetsu and Gengetsu. I'm expecting them to get a boost from their appearance in LostWord, but we will see.
Hell yeah, you know im voting for Mamizou. I voted for Louise in both the 2022 and 2023 polls after your video on her (and I'm doing it again) so I'm for sure doing this, especially since Mamizou is a really underrated character.
One character that I'd also like to see being voted for more is Chiyari from Touhou 19. I know she's a newer character but I just really like characters that look like they would root through my trash can.

Yeah, the last time VIVIT was included was in 2004, and I assume that was due to the lack of characters at the time. The Q&A for the 4th Popularity Poll even states that Seihou characters had been dropped.
I already voted before this video came out. I went with:
1: Okina Matara
2: Toyosatomimi no Miko
3: Tsukasa Kudamaki
4: Fujiwara no Mokou
5: Yuuma Toutetsu
6: Jacketko (DiPP Jacket Girl)
7: Minamitsu Murasa
7th always tends to be a tossup for me, so I probably would've considered it there. Nonetheless, I'm happy with my choices.
As for Mamizou herself? Putting asife biases of oversaturation and liking foxes more, yeah, she's certainly not the worst character in the series. She does have her moments from time to time, and I can actually like her as a character.
Probably doesn't help that I'm not too fond of glasses on character designs most of the time.

There is a reason why Mamizou is rotting in the 70's despite all the propaganda ZUN gave her since Forbidden Scrollery.
People just don't like her very much. But let's hope she's making it into the 60's this year with this video...

Every year I try to vote in these polls but for some strange reason it just never works for me. That's just my luck I guess.
Although, I would probably vote for Sanae, Ichirin, Byakuren, Kanako, Tewi, Aunn and Narumi.
Mamizou is totally not ZUN's self insert. Also, she's insanely underrated. Her theme is also one of the best in the series, frankly.
If "someone" sees this, they are going to freak out. lol
(You know who should get votes? Mamizou's buddy Sannyo, because she's awesome, cool, cute, and Based)

you know what I was gonna ignore or maybe vote for some random ass character I like that people don't tend to love as much as I like Seiran, Larva, Kyouko or Hina, but the fact that Mamizou is such a central character and such a fun character with pretty much no real negative qualities and is so low is not right. I'll join your cause.
She's actually already in a pretty high place. It takes a ton of votes to move people up and down that high up. idk why she'd need publicity. Zun loves her, she's well used in manga and games and has plenty of fans.
Not to say its not great to hear enthusiasm from another Mamizou fan, i just think she's already pretty popular.
