I had great doubles from an indian man just by a Supermarket in Marabella, his doubles was awesome. We went to do business, finish by 10 am and had to go back for more, he was sold out and gone. I ain't forget his doubles yet! 😅

Sweet Sauce is a no for me in doubles. Chalta is very tasty,but you don't swallow it,just chew on it. It's sold as preserves in some supermarkets. In my opinion,Debe stretch wasn't the best place to get south doubles,they are great for other delicacies such as saheena,kutchorie,baigani, Aloopie, Phlourie and even sweets. If I do go there,I buy saheena by the green shed, Aloopie by Singh's, and doubles at Hoseins. The Blue Shed is also good... Best places to check for doubles in South is, Princess Town,Mucarapo Street, Gulf View, La Romaine,High Street, Marabella, Ali's Vistabella, Penal. My preference is old time doubles,where the bara is brownish and that distinct flavour of the channa,,,and I get that on Mucarapo Street,by the market opposite where National Cinema was.
