So here's the general gist of my understanding of the RS3 economy: Price inflation on goods is a product of lower amounts of goods (due to skills and skilling) and a greater demand for said goods (due to skills and skilling). This may mean less Beep Boopin bots harvesting supplies AND it may mean that prices will continue since Jagex's data shows a larger margin of sales than purchasing on the GE. My hot takes:Markets are inherently unstable and RS3 is no different, yet it's in an OK place.
Osrs markets been stable for 10 years, bonds are the same 6m they always have been on there. It's possible if you know what you're doing, osrs is a conservative economy. Any changes that affect prices are small and few
Alot of FSW accounts are still using Challenger gear. When they transfer over they gonna be buying weapons and armor. Alot of merchers are hoarding some stuff waiting for jan 9. Could be a reason items are going up no one is selling them.
I brought over a dozen gloves of passage when they were like 7m. Pleasantly surprised when I repaired my personal pair the other day, immediately cashed in a decent profit 🤣🤣
I think prices change around this time due to wrapping paper, low - mid level accounts are getting dye's selling them for over 1b and just buying their gear at a bigger margin because they want it to insta buy and use it
Merchers also seem to have bought up most if not all of the high-level weapon and armour stock just before the christmas TH promos to capitalize on the fact that noobs will be getting aurora dyes left and right and they will want to get some good weapons. Noxious weapon prices are at an all time high for example.
I am a new player. Never played this game and after some time i really started to love it. Unfortunately after i realised what you need to play this game i just quit it as it is easier.
@@redhatlt yeah but how hard is it do do it and safe I can buy new acc but I rather keep original I do think jagex dosen't really deserve money not talking about devs but but that main guy and their investors so yeah.... :) 😃
Wrapping paper presents dumping a fuck ton of gold into the available money supply. Larger player base because of holiday events and more free time during the holidays.
Fsw players entered the main game wearing ganodermic and cywir weapons with really high stats then sold capes for billions. Dosent take a PhD to figure out why everything shot up
its a part, but the main reason is all the events jagex puts out with emphasis on mtx. they havent stopped for even a day. if treasure hunter doesnt have a discontinued rare, they make a new event that does. example being gold party hat, green santa hat. and immediatly before/after those there was a assassin walk(i think thats the one they re-released)/recolored santa+hween mask. and yak track of course
I think merchers have a lot to do with the price, I've read that clans have been buying them up to manipulate the economy and selling them at outrageous prices, causing a spike in price

I bought cinderbanes a long time ago for like 5m and just logged in to see they were 80m 😂
Cost of living means less people buying bonds in the store?
I'm really enjoying your content man. Keep it up!

All of the above. Putting in lowball offers on boss drops that don't sell on fresh start worlds right now.

to much gold coming in but not out
I hope everything crashes ridiculously so I can finally afford some of the stupid expensive gear
129 mil now, you used to be able to buy one for 16 mil
I'm happy merchers are rich and gonna buy my bonds cuz you can easy make way more money in real life
You can get almost twice from buying from other sites

The RS economy makes people want to quit permanently.

I bought 25 bonds at 69m total after I converted them to tradable. I sold all of them over the last 2 months at 80-83m.
My item collection has doubled in value
Sold my FSoA for 3.5b and waiting two months to buy again. It’s all gonna crash a ton soon, only takes one guy to start dumping

When fsw accounts merge to the main game you will see the market flooded with mid to high end items for the first week
21m was enough for a bon
Its great to be ironman and don't care about economy or prices.
You really need to know right price cuz there are big flip discords
how to get into these discords?

Fresh start worlds accounts haven’t even moved over to the main game yet please check your facts before making a video like this
Ergo no inflation from that till the 9th jan
Im saying with the boosts ending and reducing players are starting to move over.
I already moved mine over weeks ago 🤷♂️
Alot of people have moved from fsw already so check your facts before posting a comment you obviously have no clue about.
