I love when Lucy said I love you and would discuss with Kate first before made the decision, writers really did a nice job. I love couple having a healthy relationship with real conversation instead of using fighting to make ups and downs for the storyline.
The writers of this serie did a better job than the writers of station 19 whose make me felt full of nervous in few last episodes. I almost quit watching that show, so exhausted to continue.
I don‘t think she‘s hurt. I believe, she‘s just suprised how much she had hurt Lucy. And that was the reason for her sad face. I mean: agent on a ship in the middle of the ocean?🤔
I feel like this is the reason for the look in episode one. When Kate said they put everything that happened in the past. Also Lucy is just not that good of a liar when it comes to Kate.

Maybe it's just my observation 🤔. Their body language is off. The distant hugs, hand holding, even the kisses. Lucy touches the neck or shoulders. Same with kate. Its just a little off with the body language their very distant no body chemistry.. Their chemistry is neck up. Which is strange.
I believe I read somewhere that the actress that plays Lucy was sick during that episode so that's why she kept her distance, also why they didn't even kiss even though she would be gone for a while.

A kiss in the cheek would have made that scene more realistic and Lucy who take the opportunity to kiss Kate didn't. 2 How Whisler kissed Lucy forehead. Before she admits she has trust issues. And in the end 4 perfect missed opportunities.

Sure wish people would pay attention. Some of us keep repeating this same thing. These actors do have other commitments like Yas with the Chosen and Tori last year with her Hallmark movie. Been watching Tori for years in many of her projects love her. Now also becoming a fan of Vanessa and Yas.
