Hey platinumbaby, I see you went on a field trip to Vintage Kings, shoot they would have to drag me out of that double letter, I will try to spend the night in there!!!!!
The used music gear market around Nashville has to be absolutely insane, lol. (ALSO... +my+ understanding is that that UREI eq (539) was made almost exclusively to correct rooms and nulls. As a 'real' eq, it's pretty looked down upon. BUT... you obviously know 1000x more about gear than I do, so...)
@@nilespeshay1734 did some research on it and like that it’s vintage. And it does something that my other gear doesn’t do. Cut frequencies in two db steps. I have great eq s but for 179 dollars if got a 70’s maybe early 90’s piece of history, now that’s worth it.
I’m sorry Plat, I can’t do used growing up. My grandfather was a garbage man, so everything we had was used at the trash. Also, I can’t do layaway either, because as a kid we did that too, and it seemed like it took forever, I ain’t got the patience now, Bus salute you Bro. I love the content keep it up sir.
I feel the same bro until I heard about Reverb. That’s site got some PRO GEAR but you’re not paying those ridiculous prices. Plus you can do payments and still get your gear.
@ Hey, my brother from another mother… I want you to know man thank you for your service. I really respect you. I own commercial recording studio in Washington State. It is not a home studio but a 3000 square-foot commercial space that I own. There’s not very many UA-cam guys that I actually can say I respect but you are definitely one of them. I love your whole attitude and keep doing what you’re doing.
@@nicefish10 Thanks. I am not trying to be all that with my videos. I am just trying to let people know the deal. How it really is, it can be fun but people don't like to invest in themselves and that makes what we do challenging. Wishing you the best with the studio.
...."lil mixers"....(mike epps)
So many pro studios in Nashville that makes it a good place to find deals
Yes great deals
My first mic pre was a Behringer Tube Ultragain. I modified it slightly. Was a workhorse during the time I used it
@@blkgostnone4092 you got to work what you have. We all started somewhere, I am no exception.
Wow!
The used gear market where you’re at is beautiful ❤
@@blkgostnone4092 man I haven’t even begun to touch it yet. I plan on doing more of these hunts. I found 747 for 1,600 in a pawn shop here.
I've never seen such high end gear in the Guitar Center in MA.
@@LaurenPassarelli yeah it used to be better. The used stuff is the most expensive here. But they got a GC pro where the high end stuff is

They got more vintage than a museum, lol.
