Hay Platt people be slipping on them BBE Sonic Maximizer, I ghatt mines set at about 1 1/2, A pro wants told me once, when you Feel a Change, in the muzik, stop turning the knob. He said if you hear the change, then it’s too late already, you done gave it too much, I said A Man.

Hay Plattt, I was just thinking about some dbx’s I have 2 dbx 1bx Series Two, after cleaning and detox em, let it warm up about 15 minutes, they’ll run you out of here!!!!! They given mi Distressor’s a run foe they money, they be all in yo soul and yo body…….

So disappointing to see the music stores so empty and lifeless years ago they would have been bustling with people. get instruments for your kids people pay for them to have lessons. this is how we will maintain and continue a true musical Heritage and culture. thanks for the video😊
Unfortunately, people buy online, and don't talk to the real music community. Hence the overabundance of inadequate imitation gear and people who've lost interest

Bro you have some great gear. I got on apollo few years back and thats about as far I went with hardware and better plugins to make my audio better. I was in a session few months ago with Teezio (Chris Browns) mix engineer and he pointed out Apollo converter is kinda harsh and he prefers higher quality analog to digital converters so I know sometimes it's a struggle to get what I'm running from the Apollo vocal wise to get it to where I want it.
I love Teezio mixes, hope he’s a cool dude. He seems cool from his Video interviews.
@@Platnumbaby ya watching him mix and vocal track was something super cool he is so fast cus he said recording chirs theres no time for mistakes you gotta be able to keep up. It showed me a new level of work flow. This was at Chalice Studios in West Hollywood next door to Hitboys I also got to watch Hitboy produce and that was amazing I drop a video soon about it.

@@LaurenPassarelli I just made 3 payments and picked it up. I was going to buy it out right but there was no rush. I have another piece I owe 50 dollars on. Coming soon to a video near you 😂. It’s a 1970 piece looks vintage but still works. Can’t wait to rack it up

6:52 With SC frequency selected and engaged, Slow ATT Med REL makes it an incredible option for slow records with less beefiness overall. On Acoustics , RnB records stuff like that. Turning the tube on, pushing the input and compensating on the Out. Sounds lovely! 🥰 Check which tubes you got. If they were ever replaced or still got the OGs.

@@Platnumbaby Hey brother look into Premium NOS Tubes or Telefunken even, Sovteks are ok but these are definitely a step up. Avalon hates people chaining the tubes but it makes a difference especially in top end and overall performance. Not at expert but this is what I know
I found mine with a random old fellow who used to run a broadcast station. He so was cool, all he kept mentioning was the top end of the eq 🤣

Man make sure you look into that wolffaudio patch bay. Im telling you i dont even own more than 3 units atm but a guy like you would love that thing. It allows you to connect ALLLL of your gear on the fly, rn its the king of patchbays.
