this is art! What a treat to wake up to! These videos are SO incredibly high quality and they just keep improving somehow, keep em coming hails from drauglur from germany
Loved this - although this piece and others by you are definitely in my 'abstract / noise' category I always find them compelling and listen to the whole work! You are definitely telling some fine sound stories here! Gr8 job
great piece! Thanks for the (to my opinion) best tutorial on Rossum Assimil8or! I've learned so much on this beast because of you. You're not seems to use it anymore in favor of a Bitbox Micro + DistingEX(s), here's any reason? Cheers
Thanks for the kind words! Glad the assimil8or series was useful for you! Why did I let that module go..... -slice options are fantastic on BBM. I was creating a lot of files to work with ass8, zones, etc. With a single file on the BBM, it will scan it, I can set the thresh-hold, get all the transients I want. Hit them randomly, or not, etc. Too easy. -with all that cv on the ass8, and I can't set one to be clock IN and sync loops to my bpm. With the BBM, I can set clock and my samples follow clock. It's so good. -price vs HP. Couldn't justify the space anymore. I love small systems. The only large module I can allow anymore is Starlab. LOL -internal FX on the BBM are decent, sometimes useful -good output routing on the BBM (great on ass8 as well) -internal LFO's on the BBM--super useful. This opens up input jacks you might have used for CV. Bottom line for me: Assimil8or is the caddilac. BBM is the Toyota that won't quit....a utility sampler kind of. Hope this helps!

*you're* rad.
Excellent 👌
much love, my brother
A masterful performance. Loved how you built up the layers of tones and textures then dropped it into something deep but also ethereal.
Inspiring.
thanks so much. The balancing act is really an act. LOL :)
Fabulous performance!
