it will , for me as an example i was playing osrs because everyone said rs3 sucks ( didn't play it since 2007) and once i tried it tbh i really prefer eoc and everything much more than osrs it feels like a really great game ( the only thing is hated is mtx but i dc it doesn't devalue my exp ) so that means more people will be attracted to it like me so the player base will increase
One more thing, I'd recommend disabling the loading screen. You can go to places quicker without needing to pre-load each area, very nice for questing and such. Great job on the beginner video! Hopefully this will help future players better.
thanks for making this, you did a great job! the only thing that is more daunting than learning all the things to do in Runescape, is deciding how to condense it all into a simple beginners guide. my biggest piece of advice is to just focus on discovering one thing at a time about the game. i think the best way to do this is quests, they introduce you to new things, and the skill requirements give you goals to work for
Just started playing again (using a new acc) after 3-4 years and RS3 is so overwhelming 😩 i still have access to my old acc but i wanted to started fresh so this helps a lot!
Srsly sick of end-game guides. I know RS3 is way more rapid in levels, but still. I wouldn’t of ever came close to jumping into end game if it wasn’t for my old account.

This is why even as a higher level player with several 99 skills i still enjoy watching your beginner guides. Always seem to find at least 1 little thing i never knew: like dragging loadestone teleports to your action bar. Can't believe i never knew that.

Chickens? I’d recommend goblins for new players. Not only do they drop grapes, they have a variety of drops(runes, weapons, armor). This will be more fun to new people, rather than just getting same old meat and feathers lol
When your in combat, how can you see the opponents health bar and name with a number showing for their health. I started my runescape account like that and I somehow managed to disable it and I can’t seem to get it back

@@msbares7583 As of right now there are 3 different options when you make an account. 1. I've never played before. 2. I have played very recently. and 3. I have played before but not recently. Each option will start you off in a different spot, choosing "I've never played before" is the only option that will put you on tutorial island.

Im at 1200 total level and i feel like i know nothing about the game its super overwhelming, I want to pvm but know that goal is going to take longer than I anticipated. I think making small managable goals help make the game less overwhelming
The wiki is really the most important source. There is literally everything there. Other than that get a clan which can help you out and explain stuff. And just enjoy the game, run around, find out for yourself. That is the fun part. When you try to do max efficiency from the get go it takes away a lot of the "adventure" part of the game

Just rejoined to find my name was taken from me during one of the rename shuffles... They say I can rename myself as soon as I enter, but that never happened. Now I have to pay to be a member just to have a normal name again XD I also have a bunch of member only items in my inventory that I can't put in the bank. Guess I need to pay the hostage fee at some point? As for money, I go wood cutting and fletching. Make the arrow shafts and sell those for 3 gold each (makes 15 per.) Pretty easy to get thousands of gold fast.
I haven't played in a while and I been playing on and off since 2001. I remember the lumbridge catacombs and the god wars, etc. But I'm looking at this and all I can feel is a mild sad feeling and asking, "what the heck has happened to you RS?".
as soon as you leave tutorial island you can do quests together. Sometimes quests have certain steps that take you away from the main world into "instanced" scenarios, so during these moments you might be both doing the same task on the same quest but you will not see each other until you complete your task. The rest of the time, you will be talking to the same npcs etc.
OMFG, I am a long time player and I didn't even notice when they added zoom sensitivity until this video. How the frick did I miss that?? Edit: It actually is a huge game changer for me cuz I was being annoyed daily by huge scroll-ins and outs. And it might sound that I am joking. I am not.

Relaxing? Well here are some casual things you can do with your friends - Do a race to a certain level/amount of experience in a skill (or skills) - Try minigames runescape.wiki/w/Minigames - Go skilling together, maybe cook your friends fished food (idk? Just something random) - Progress together and make your own little clan I say this because most of the fun stuff / group content starts at the higher levels
Lol, just started trying to play the game again. I am a veteran that stopped in 2013 and came back to osrs in 2018,but stopped with that as well because I just missed that period of RS in which you had the nicer graphics but not EOC combat added. And I must say, it's feeling fun again after playing the game for 2 hours or so today. The prices of some items are hilarious though. Raw beef meat is like 1.5k a piece and other meats as well, which is nice actually lol. Unlike osrs that is riddled with bots and has extremely cheap f2p items making it worthless to farm.
Its because the "Player owned farm" animals require meat and fish. Its a new bit of content together with the ranch out of time runescape.wiki/w/Player-owned_farm

Update: New players now start in Burthrope once they finish Tutorial Island.
And what a zone to start. Feels much better and smoother than the lumby beginning.

Try to wait longer in between log in attempts. Try using a vpn to log in instead.

@@marcusbro2948 Youre so right honestly, trying to be maximum efficiency right away is such a bad idea and unrealistic.
If you get some people to carry you at ed3 (If you're a member) You can essentially boost your combat stats pretty quick to help you out

I wanted to ask you if could RS3 be a comfy home for me and my friends... me, my friends (+our girls cause we just can't shake them off haha) come from Wow ESO but mainly GW2 we enjoy casual pvp but mostly an adventure we can have together like fighting a dragon or crafting a magic sword to name it and gift it that kind of cheesy stuff. We got tired with action combat and wanted something more "relaxing" . Hope you can make an ideea about this lil' group and tell us your opinion! Thanks a bunch and cheers!
Relaxing? Well here are some casual things you can do with your friends
- Do a race to a certain level/amount of experience in a skill (or skills)
- Try minigames runescape.wiki/w/Minigames
- Go skilling together, maybe cook your friends fished food (idk? Just something random)
- Progress together and make your own little clan
I say this because most of the fun stuff / group content starts at the higher levels
Lol, just started trying to play the game again. I am a veteran that stopped in 2013 and came back to osrs in 2018,but stopped with that as well because I just missed that period of RS in which you had the nicer graphics but not EOC combat added.
And I must say, it's feeling fun again after playing the game for 2 hours or so today.
The prices of some items are hilarious though. Raw beef meat is like 1.5k a piece and other meats as well, which is nice actually lol. Unlike osrs that is riddled with bots and has extremely cheap f2p items making it worthless to farm.
Its because the "Player owned farm" animals require meat and fish. Its a new bit of content together with the ranch out of time runescape.wiki/w/Player-owned_farm
For some reason the new players now spawn in Burthrope.
training member skills is useless for free players right?
