Too hard for me to answer that. I love so many different artists.
1:23, Ian Gillian ? it's spelled Gillan.
and also the Sex Pistols were not an "early 70's band".
Neither were The Police
I wish the younger generations would just leave our music alone, they weren't there for it and absolutely don't get it
Damn Straight!
I wish boomers would stop acting like what theyre told by Facebook & Fox News or CNN about Generation Z is in anyway a reflection of reality, I was born in 2001 & I don’t think I knew a single kid I went to high school with that didn’t like fleetwod mac, Led Zeppelin etc. even my friends who’s favorite music was rap loved both those bands. the younger generations very much do get it you’re just a sad bitter old person who wants to make yourself feel like a special snowflake in any way you can, so you have to pretend like as if the fact that the music of your time being way more unique than the garbage mainstream pop music of today in any way translates to you as a person being more intelligent or better than young people 😂
Nobody owns music, it’s for everyone.
Music is dynamic. Always changing.
@leegray6657 ,I agree even though my tendency is to tease my 90s born son to stop wearing shirts with 70s bands 😂
Ian Gillan was the lead singer of Deep Purple, I have no idea who Ian Gillian is...
Ian was a fantastic singer, and pretty much irreplaceable.
He also sang for Black Sabbath
Terry Gilliam's brother 😅?
Ok, we get it. The streets of London had a vibrant music scene... Enough already.
I think that they just got old. Some in both senses of word. Some others just grew up. And sometimes the audience grew up.
Its crazy to think Keith Moon was only in his early 30s when he died. Dude partied so hard, he looked easily 10 years older.
🤯 This is what happens when you abuse your body like he did . He paid the price !..
you missed the doors
The Doors were the 60s.
Why are you yelling?
Ppl into those bands are in their 70s
lol really.. seems a lot of these channels have narrators on meth
What happened to them ? It’s ONLY 50 years later !! What do you THINK happened to them ??? 🤔 Duuuhhhhh
It’s Ian “Gillan” not Gillian ffs !!! 🙈😖😖😖🤷♂️🤦♂️
The saddest story is the Police, such fantastic musicians, they still had a couple of more albums under the belt.😢

Where did you get that picture of Fleetwood Mac? Looks like Vegas impersonators.
If you can’t even do enough research to be able to pronounce a person’s name correctly, it doesn’t say much for your authority on this subject.
How are The Police "Early 70s"?
Cracking up at everyone sounding off on his pronouncement of Ian Gillan.
RIP Syd Barrett, may you get the peace in death you never got in life
I agree with that!

50 years ago? Long time
Tales from Talese, was their last and first great album. Then, redundancy for cash.
Gillan not an additional i after the a please!
Rise & Fall ? 🤔 I don't understand. Queen fell ?? Deep Purple fell ?? Legends both. No falling...just running the course & leaving behind some of the best music ever. What is music of today going to achieve compared to those bands ?
Respect your opinion
It's "GILLAN."

early 80s
No one ever talks about Grand Funk Railroad. First 10 albums went gold. Sold out Shea stadium in 3 days, faster than the Beatles. I could go on, a tragedy that Don Brewer was so greedy and destroyed what could have been on the great bands of our time.

Wow! Most of these bands are British.
Did he say "chiller queen"?
whom?
@@VintageTVShows the narrator. It sounds as if he said "chiller queen", not "killer queen", referencing the song by that name by the band Queen.
Guess what? The people in the bands got older!
🤔 No kidding Columbo ?. I would never have guessed that !..
Sting ...talented but self centered. Was fortunate to see them on the last tour but not knowing " This is the END". Sting on his own has done well...but nothing like The Police. Nuff said

Never cared for the Clash or Sex Pistols. Didn’t like punk. Nor did I care for Grunge. If all you can do is power chords, I don’t have time or money for you.
I liked the early Eagles up until they came out with THE NEW KID IN TOWN. That was, in my opinion, when the Eagles officially started to suck. And after having to hear HOTEL CALIFORNIA over 100 trillion times in 1977, I grew to hate, loathe, despise, detest and dislike that song beyond description. I never could understand the appeal of Fleetwood Mac, especially Stevie Nicks. When she sang, she sounded like she had a really bad cold.
Some of this commentary is ridiculous!
To me the eagles are a country western band. And I don't care what anybody says.I saw them live at tampa stadium and it was the most boring concert that I had ever seen, even to this day. I remember it began to drizzle a little bit of rain, and I said at the time they were so dull, they were even making God cry.

Ya they tripped over the rock
I can't with the narration. Just can't.
Sorry for that
It's AI.
The Dude hates The Eagles.
Get out of my cab!!!
Sting became too full of himself. He ruined a great band that had a lot more to offer.
Copeland and Summers deserved better.
Terrible. Awful narration and poorly researched
Sorry about that
Queen is way overrated. Could never stand them.
WHy is so?
I never was a big fan either, and they pretty much made Freddie Mercury into Saint Hood. Never understood that at all
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
@@williamsherman1089 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
@williamsherman1089 I could never stand queven to this, but none of these bands were bad. Except for the Eagles to me, I cannot stand that man. I switched the station or turn it off, Anytime one of their songs comes on. They put on the dullest concerts of all time.
1976 is NOT EARLY 70'S!
I think so
Which band?
Sorry. I preferred the version before Buckingham Nicks
But why?
Because they were a better rock band
