At last, a proper video for home brewers from a couple of proper home brewers. Loved it, keep up the good work.❤🙂
Takes me back to the excitement I felt when I got my Bruheat boiler the 70’s, great fun.
This video has changed my view on all in one brew machines and shown how simple it can be without one,
Been brewing for 3 years now, but I still find there's something to learn from these beginner videos. James' enthusiasm and delivery in front of the camera is great.
Just goes to show, brewing excellent beer doesn’t need to break the bank. It’s more about mastering the basic principles and problem solving. Excellent video, thanks
DIY buckets with elements , think many of us who have been brewing for a while can remember buying and cannibalising Asda smart price kettles for the elements . I wonder how many coolbox searches on Argos this video will cause .
That kit looks amazing Rob & James make it straight forward not over complicated with lots of jargon. Going to give that brew a go.
Great to see how simple and low in cost this setup is..............and from here the craving for more and better kit starts.
Great video, Great way to brew, Great Giveaway, who had the Lightbulb moment for that idea!💡 🍺👍
The look on Rob's face at first sniff of the finished product was a picture.
I could almost smell it along with you guys and my taste buds started calling for a cold one!
Great video and a great advertisement for getting great beers from even the simplest of set-ups.
You go to so much trouble to make life easy for us less experienced home brewers.
Thank you.
Looking forward to my next brew. I think it might be Verdant Lightbulb!
#themaltmillerrocks
Oh, and I will use your set-up if I'm the lucky winner
Cheers
Andy, Purton.
Great shop and channel. This channel is what got me into brewing beer and I've since learned lots from you guys. The only place I buy my grains from. Hope to win the mash tun 😊
It's quite a thing when a video get you enthusiastic to make a beer style you don't normally even like! Thanks, guys, for breaking it down clearly, especially for a noob, but happy customer, like me!
Takes me back a few years, great upload..
Coincidentally I’ve just ordered this recipe from you, and will be brewing it on my old and creaky 3-vessel setup soon!
Thanks gents; as always a great video and it’s good to remember the basics and “keep it simple”! I haven’t tried your Verdant yet, but will be ordering it very soon.
Loving this setup! I’ve not long ago made an order with you. I’m the guy that didn’t get the yeast that you have kindly resent and looking forward to brewing with it. I’ve been binge watching your videos and learning a lot. Thanks for the guidance.
Love it. Had “Lightbulb” on tap a couple of times. The first time I had it was possibly the best ale I’ve ever had on tap! Up there like : ) 19th is my bday 🎉
Great video and a very generous give away!! Well done Malt Miller!!
Takes me back a few years before the "shiny" arrived !! 8-)
Only ever done extract kits so far, this looks really interesting
Great video chaps, simply the best
The beer looks great and shows what you can achieve with a simple setup taking the next step with all grain brewing 🍻 cheers
Comments are great for algorithms, well curated homebrew is better! ...daughter wants to videochat brew with dad whilst at university 300 miles away, ...technology these days is great for guiding hand instructionals (& video beer tasting) ..cheers for the instructionals lads, a great assistance from a great company 👍👍👍
I'm only 4 months into home brewing and have watched loads of videos about fancy equipment and setups, but you've proved how easy it can be to get into all grain. I've no excuses now, I'll have to give it a go! Thanks.
Proper lightbulb moment 😂
mmmmmm 😋....This is one of my favourite styles of beer.
The beer looks great, and the kit is likewise 👍
That looks like an awesome bit of kit. Gravity Brewing, I’m down with that, that’s why I’m dropping this comment.
Just starting my all grain journey after 3/4yrs of kit brewing at the young age of 72. Love MM vids.
Cheers
Love a 3 vessel setup! Great beer too!
Looks a very close clone, I'm more of a shark type guy.🍺🍻🍺
Looking good. I'll be moving on from kits to all grain soon. Looking forward to some great brews.
I’m even more basic I use a Wheeler’s widget so a plastic bucket drilled in the base inside another bucket. Wrapped with hw tank insulation.
I have a 10g version for prototyping, a 15l for production and a 23l for high gravity 15l brews.
I heat the water with a portable sous vide machine. I boil in a stock pot on a linked induction hob. I have to turn it down when boiling.
My beer is absolutely delicious.
This is the sort of video I would have loved 10 years ago when I made the leap to all grain brewing. So much great advice for anyone starting out and a really good demostration that you don't need super expensive equipment to brew great beer.
Well I've never tried Light Bulb 💡 so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I get lucky. Keep up the good work MM HQ 🙂
Looking forward to a similar demo and give-away for an all-in-one system!
i have never tried this method before, mostly sticking to extracts, time to dip my toe into all grain brewing, i shall sanitise it first though. loved the video, many thanks
Awesome giveaway and such a great way of making beer. Cheers guys 🍻
Will need to build an bedroom extension to house this , hop to it
Back to Basics, Love it!
I was so excited about this kit, I had to watch it again. It’s been my dream to brew my own beer, but can’t afford a Grainfather setup or the like. I’m stoked to see how affordable this looks, with such an amazing result.
Been looking at all in one systems for months now to make the break from extract brewing, you guys make it look so easy! Beer looked amazing as well.
Brings back memories
Super simple stuff! Gosh I love this hobby 🥂 🍻🍺
Much better than the Gas ring I started with, Verdant sound nice in it`s own right.
Love the bootleg approach here!
Brewed this for my wedding and it went down amazingly!
I’m just here to win your gear 👍
This has been a really good illustration of how to go to all grain brewing moving on from BIAB. Thank you very much for doing it.
🤞 this setup is a massive upgrade from what I’m using now.
Verdant rules. Oh, and Malt Miller too. Of course sir!
Was just looking back yesterday photos of my first all grain 3 tiers system, then I now watched lads.full on enjoyable. Brought back great memories. Brian D.🍻
The usual well made and comprehensive video from Malt Miller, great for all grain brewers like me who currently use basic methods and equipment and wish to up their game. Hope I win, some of my kit is needing replacement!
Awesome video, it's good to show how simple kit can produce great beer
Love the video and of course the beer 🍺
I've been using Malt Miller for a few years now. Always reliable and have equipment for homebrewers of all levels. A crazy giveaway btw. Good luck to everyone!
Food for thought, nice easy and cheap set up with great results!
Great starter kit into all grain brewing 👍🍻cheers
I bought a cool box ages ago but never had the confidence to try this method, will definitely give it a go now. Thanks for the great video!
Eureka, I've just had my lightbulb moment. Love the video and your brews. I'm keeping everything crossed 🤞👍
Old school !!! This is how I started out and learnt. Now using the 35l Brewzilla system I bought from you on Your Black Friday sale- it's amazing 😊
Can’t wait until 19 🎉😮😊😊😊
I am a fairly new brewer and love the detail that has gone I to this video. Thanks, guys. Will be buying brewing equipment and grain from the malt miller for sure
You made it look so easy and affordable with this setup
Something like that would help me get back into brewing. Been almost 3 years!
I had great results with your Kitchen Brewer 100W 5L kit - looking forward to scaling it up with the full lightbulb recipe.
Brilliant video, l brewed like this for over 20 years, then I bought a G40, my beer is definitely no better.
Love the idea of using the cool box Brilliant video.
Very impressive video and great presenter interactions. I am sure that this will persuade LME kit brewers to grain brewing. How simple, 2 buckets and a cool-box. I like a 3 tier gravity stand which will also be cheap as chips to make from wood or plastic.
It's such an amazing setup for someone who wants to get into all grain.
Another great looking beer guys keep it up!
The boiler inside the fermenter bucket looks like a real game changer. It’s given me a lot of food for thought. Thanks.
Great video explaining how simple and effective brewing with this type of system can be
I do like a 3v system for a change. I sometimes do this for small batches using a 7l cool box and 12l kettle to mix it up.
Great video, love the Verdant Lightbulb Clone. Had great results with this 🙂
I like Rob's haircut
Well done on the give away.
I really miss brewing on a 3 vessel system 🍻
Absolutely fantastic video of showing how easy it is to go from kits to all grain. This is definitely the next step in my journey. I’ve been brewing kits for over 15 years so fingers crossed.
Good luck to every one else who enters as well.
Great video! Beer looks a smashing drink! 🍺
I really enjoyed this video. Back to basic, simplicity is key.
One of my favourite brewery beers. Yet to start brewing, this would be a great starting point. Cheers 🍻
When I saw the side by side of the 2 beers it was insanely close! Like you said, sometimes they don't work out but you nailed this one lads! Iid definitley love to have a go with this kit and have been eyeing up the plastic boilers for a while!
Quality starter setup that.
I do like a bit of Lightbulb
The chubby looks awesome
Cracking little set-up! Should I win, I'll be keen to try your Verdant Light-bulb kit for myself. Cheers!
That’s mad! Such an easy kit. Well done 🙌
One of my favourite beers, great to see it done on this system. Currently building a home brewery, this kit would be great to start practicing! Cheers!
Nice one gents, back to basics, keep it simple
Excellent video, I've got two weeks to wait until my first beer is ready 😅
Been watching your videos for a little while now. Just about to start my third brew. Have found out so much useful info and techniques. Keep up the great work folks
Nice tutorial. I'm determined to move to all grain brews this year
Lovely beer and clear tutorial. Thanks Malt Miller!
Ideal starter kit, nice demo of using it too.
Love it, Love it, Love it 👍
I honestly had no idea you could brew quality beers with such low priced kit, I so need this in my life. Everything crossed and now it’s impossible to walk.
Thanks again for a super informative video. It's the little details which really help - such how to use the tap carefully in order to get clear wort from the boiler without blocking a hop filter. For people like myself who have just started with all grain it makes all the difference!
This is so cool!
Love it 🍺
What a tasty beer! 🍻
