We railway modellers ain't just old men, some of us are normal living a normal life, I will always bring my videos in a light hearted or comedic manner, as for being a hero...thank you...very much appreciated

Sir, I do not usually comment on any content, but I fully enjoyed watching this on a Saturday night. Please keep it real and I do hope I meet you at an exhibition/model railway show in the near future (I will be a volunteer on the big purple stand from Scotland). I do work for NR but it is great to follow someone who enjoys the hobby like me.

Mint!......exactly my style of railway modelling......I model in N gauge and DC......most of my stock is mostly old and which i modify and add details to bring it up to date plus its a fraction of the cost of expensive dcc locos.
Some non DCC locos are overpriced as well, Ahem Hornby 0-4-0, however its not $400.00 per loco either.

I'm one of those who would be scared stiff to take an airbrush to a new model, so nuff respect to you and all who aren't.
Great Eastern is very welcoming, as is Smith's. I DO try to buy something when I visit. I bought a new Accurascale loco from them at the Norwich exhibition a week or so ago.
Hornby used to sell isolation rails back in the day. Not sure if they still do...

I honestly loved doing the video, i do like to make people laugh, ive always been a bit of a clown so i hoped it came across like that, my Son kept some of the silly questions sealed up as lifted them off Messenger, and there was a bit of script from me also. A lot of the silly names and ridiculous questions came out of the blue..I thank my freinds and colleagues for helping me make comedy genius...you never know there may be another Q and A in the future 😊
How about a model of someone drinking a can of Stella somewhere? Maybe it could loosely based on you..

Hello Harold Road, just now saw your Q&A video. You mentioned you were near Great Eastern Models Shop in Norwich. I live in New Costessey, Norwich. How close are you to Norwich? I’m about to start building a OO/OO9 layout.. I aim to do a DCC layout using Hornby HM7000 bluetooth chips, so just need to power the track, the accessories and points etc via DC… I aim to build the baseboard in the next couple of months…. also starting to build general plastic models as well.. and was wondering if one day, if I need guidance would like to meet up, if that is ok? I am doing this slowly…. probably over some years.. I’ve early self retired myself… no rush.. and if you can’t that’s also fine. I’m aiming to go to the Norwich Model Railway show at Hellesdon High School this coming Saturday 6th April 2024. Very nice video… Thank you Aaron (Aaronville).
Really enjoying all your content John. Are you able to please share what - if any - insulation you have in the loft? Anything over the roof joists? I recently moved and have a draughty loft, starting to wonder if i should invest in any aluminium foil or anything like that before I start running trains. Appreciate your help, thanks mate.
The loft rafters are being insulated this Year, the guy who built the loft room is comming back to sort it out...he is a busy bloke being a builder and we have to sort it out when we are both free 😀

Enjoyed the video. Have you had any issues with your Accurascale class 37's?
None what so ever via running, had one where the lights stopped working, was fixed under warranty by Accurascale

Hi John. Great video tonight. You sounded like a pro when confronted with some unusual tongue twisting names. Please can you book me for a airbrush course, now i have my new airbrush. My favourite locos are the class 08s of all things. I have 10 at moment. I have been a good boy and checking Facebook at least four time a day this week.

Darrenbury Central Hi your dinosaur Park area would fit modern day life as I used to live by a firm who made life size dinosaurs out of v hard foam for display in parks and golf courses . Tatty bi 😊
