Ian you look fabulous in your pj's custom made for you by your lovely wife! Great job Jean! Prayers for all of you, especially Maxwell! You'd laugh if you sew my sewing room! It's a corner of my kitchen/dining room. It has to be organized to hold my 3 sewing machines; cutting g mat and ironing board. Right outside of my littl"room" is my q zone frame. I sure hope you all start feeling better soon! God bless you all!
Awesome pajamas! Very nice job, Jean! Praying for you all to get well and stay well. I use Airborne effervescent tablets in my cold water. Keeps me from getting sick. Also, my vitamins for my age. 50+, which I'm 69 now, so they don't have vitamins for older than that...lol.
Thanks for sharing!! I AM dosing up on "C" D3" Zinc,., etc. but this cough is still hanging on. Ian got me supplements from the health food store also. I have a doctors appointment next week Thank you so much:)
Poor you , you have been so under the weather recently... hopefully you will all soon make a full recovery... Poor Maxwell, he has so much to cope with. Yayy you are an exhibitor.... well done. Ian's right about the jim jams..... well matched patterns and bonus pockets....
Thanks so much:) Trouble is Ian now wants lots more!! LOL! Its' been a bummer being under the weather, this cough just won't let up. Have doctors appointments next week:)
I am so sorry you ill again Jean, seems like it won't ever end. Prayers and hugs sent to you for a speedy recovery. Ian, you were great; love the "tailored looking" tartan pajamas.
Hope you will be fully well soon. COVID is around still, down here in Fla. My 4 yo great-granddaughter just tested positive for it. The pajamas you made for Ian really turned out nice. Love the plaid. I sure hope Maxwell will be feeling his old self again soon. I'll keep him in my prayers.
Thank you:) Yes, the dreaded lurgie is still around wreaking havoc, but not nearly as bad as it was at the height of the pandemic, luckily. I hope your great grandaughter is not suffering too much. Thank you for your prayers, we need them
Our always smiling Jean. My husband shared his Covid with me over 4th of July! OMG. The plaid in Ian’s pajamas match across and down! That would never happen if I sewed them! Congrats on your quilts being accepted. 🙏🙏
I try to smile, although it's getting a bit harder with this dreadful cough. I have an appointment next week. we shall see. Yes, Ian loves his jammies....trouble is he wants more!!!! LOL!
Dear Jean, sorry to hear that you have not been feeling very well, especially Maxwell, it must be quite a challenge for you all. Christine has a well organised room, I too have table envy! Looking forward to seeing your quilts at the show though not in person so please post lots of pics. Love and blessings to all the Trueloves 🏴
Yes, Maxwell handles his challenges like a champ, but it is getting old now. He didn't have a seizure for ages, and then BOOM. Such a terrible shame. Dear boy. Thanks Margaret. Trying to get better!! Hugs:)
Aw, you poor things. All the love and hugs and prayers from us here in the UK. I got covid from our convention in Newport, 3 weekends ago, but am only just feeling better. Still worth it though. Loads of love, Deb xx 🤗💕
Yes, that seems to be the norm now. We know LOTS of different places where there was sickness after the conventions. Bound to happen though...all the Love, hugs, kisses, sharing etc.,!! Thank goodness it's not as bad as it was though! :) I'm still not well, Maxwell is a bit better, but we do have two doctors appointments next week. Hugs:)
Lovely tartan pjs for Ian! Good job with matching the pattern and the snap tape is GENIUS! My pneumonia last fall about did me in as I hate taking Rx but there I was with an armload. I vowed to never ignore my allergies that started the bronchitis. I try to eat super healthy too. Speaking of, I learned the ketogenic diet was created in the 1920s for kids with epilepsy with great success! ❤ Take good care Jean- of YOU, and Maxwell and Ian. Best wishes.
Congratulations on getting your quilts accepted for the Oaks, PA show. I can’t wait to see them there. I’m sorry you haven’t been well. Strangely enough, I was great until around lunch time today and then wham! Had some kind of cold or something hit. I took a bunch of stuff and hope I caught it in time and I won’t get too much worse. I will pray for Maxwell. That is a rough go. P.J’s look very comfortable and Ian seems to enjoy them!!!!!
Aw thanks Jill! I hope you are feeling better. Me not so much! Have a doctors appointment next week for this dreaded cough! Don't know what's up with that!! Thanks for your prayers! Especially for our dear Maxwell. He doesn't deserve the horribleness he has so endure.
Family always comes first the rest of us can wait. Praying that Maxwell gets medication that works for him, also prayers for you and Ian. So happy for you that your quilts got accepted into the show ❤ Thank you for showing my room it’s a horn cabinet and billy shelves the room is only 13ft x 10 ft ! Ian we have plenty of distilleries and only 12 miles from the home of golf ❤
Oh thanks Christine! Ian would be in his glory!! And thanks for your patience. We got around to you eventually:) Prayers are very much appreciated for Maxwell, we need them.
I'm in Wales and still using Fahrenheit; can you tell I'm in my 70's! blessings to you all and hope that Maxwell gets the right medication to restore him to an even keel. Prayers and blessings from the valleys.
Maxwell was doing so well and then not so great. He has a doctors appointment next week. we shall see. I too have an appointment, as this cough just won't go away.
Hi there Jean, Ian and Maxwell. I hope all of you are on the mend after this rocky time 🙏🙏🙏very cool pyjamas. No fun at home when everyone is ill, love and many hugs from Torbay, North Shore, .auckland, New Zealand ❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
If it's any consolation , we all got back from our three day convention and pronto... three days later we all went down with the covid. Well it's the principle of "sharing with your bothers and sisters, n'est-ce-pas? Have a speedy recovery and best wishes and hugs to Maxwell.
Yes, I believe that is happening in a lot of places. All the hugs, love, sharing, kisses, close proximity etc., it's bound to happen!! Stressful three days, but a good stress, then boom!! Oh well, this too shall pass. We were just praying the delegates got home safe:)
I pray you all start feeling better soon! Praying Maxwell will get a medication that will help him!🙏❤️ Congratulations on your quilts being accepted into the show!
Hi Jean ,Ian and Maxwell. Sending some healing hugs. Hope you all feel better soon. I just love your interaction with Ian. You both are so sweet. Praying for Maxwell.
My prayers are with you all. Just what you needed! With a lot of prayers from us and your church community, and doctor's care, hoping for a speedy recovery. I recognized that cough. Just be careful that this doesn't turn bacterial. Your lungs sound so congested. I love Ian's pajamas. You got a great deal on the fabric! But, with your eye for detail, you did a fantastic job sewing his pajamas. 😊 My prayers are with your family Jean. 🙏🤗😔❤️🙏
@@jeantruelovetruelovequiltsfory My daughter was like that last spring. Turns out she had walking pneumonia, then she woke me up in the night having trouble breathing. I got her in the tub, put warm towels on her back and chest. I got her to cough up quite a bit. She coughed so much she began vomiting. I called her Dad to pick some things up at the store. Called the doctor, who answers his own calls. I told him what was going on. She had to go through 3 rounds of antibiotic and a nebulizer. The doctor had x-rays done during the first round, as her entire right lung was full. He didn't want her in hospital as RSV and another round of Covid was going around. So, nurse Mom and Dad got her through. Turns out that someone was fixing something at the zoo where she worked. It had to do with fiberglass. She was inhaling fiberglass particles and it scratched her lungs. I kept up with the hot baths and towels. She eventually recovered. Two weeks off work. I told them I thought this fell under workers comp. They tried to argue and I mentioned, if it were not for her, more people and many animals would have suffered the same situation. She was reimbursed... sometimes that momma bear has to roar just a bit. 🤗❤️
Hi Jean ,so good to see you. So sorry to hear you've all been so sick. We too had a very misfortune summer this year. Although we still have at least another 2 months of summer here in Malta. Im still not 100 % Recovered from my knee replacement surgery, then We had covid. and colds now my hubby pulled a muscle from his back and it was terrible Anyways he's on the mend now and hope we will all be good . Hope maxwell will be better soon. Sending ❤ to you all. Xx
I hope your knee surgery will be the right ticket for you! We all seem to be going thru something! This dreadful cough is still lingering and Maxwell, who was doing so well, is not now. :/ Always something :/ But blessings to you both:)
Hi Jean & Ian! So sorry to hear of the illnesses & Maxwell's issues. Hope all are on the mend 💗💗 Love Ian's pj's!! Great idea to use the snap tape. Thrilled to hear your quilts were accepted!!! Kudos to you! Christine must get things from Missouri Star. I got that same parking sign in one of my Countdown to Christmas boxes. Also, that aqua colored clip-on light on her table-got that, too. I may be mistaken, but I think her sewing cabinet may be by Koala. Pat Sloan has a similar arrangement.
Jean I missed you and wondered how you were doing....I'm so sorry that you all had covid....its rife here at the moment 😢. Hope ye all feel better and I'll say a prayer for poor Maxwell. I'm delighted your quilts were accepted and you made a fab job with the pyjamas....so clever of you to ne able to match the pattern. Christine's sewing room looked quite big to me. If she thinks that's small she'd die if she saw where I sew 😅. Love to you all xxx
LOL!! I'm sure where you sew, Martina, is just wonderful:) Small can be super too:) Thanks so much ~ yes, the dreaded lurgie is out and about! I have a doctors appointment next week ~ this cough!!!! Maxwell also is seeing his neurologist.
Dear Jean, Ian and Maxwell, praying you keep on the road to recovery. I hope you got to go to the convention??? Anyway, thanks for jumping on and sharing. Prayers for the Trueloves. So happy your quilts were accepted.
Oh yes! We got to the convention. And were greeters at the airport, Evening Entertainment for the delegates, field service day, etc., etc.!! We got all three very long days (via a coach with the congregation) but on top of all the love, hugs, goodies, talks etc., it was very stressful nevertheless. Blessed but lots of work!!! LOL! LOL! But now ready to Declare the Good News!!

The weather is wreaking havoc everywhere it seems:) Debby passed us by for the most part, just some strong winds and driving rain for a while. Thank goodness!!
Congrats on your quilt being accepted in the quilt show yay for you Jean. So sorry that the Truelove family is under the weather, wishing you all a speedy recovery and please tell Maxwell that I wish him well wishes and hope his medication is working. Please take care of yourself....thanks for the video, sending hugs from Massachusetts.
Thanks Terrie. It's such a darn shame about Maxwell ~ he was doing so good. Then boom! He has a doctors appointment next week. So do I. Hopefully can tackle this cough!! Bless you!!
thanks Regina;) We have been busy, but a good busy, However, I think we got a bit run down and stressed and are now paying the price!! Maxwell has been doing so well, and then, Not so good :/ My dreadful cough just won't go away and it is so tiring. But we will TRY to keep smiling!! Although it gets old after a while!! LOL! LOL!
Jean I hope you feel better soon. And yes you absolutely did a fantastic job, making Ian a pair of PJ. Again take care of yourself and thanks for sharing another great sewing space. There are certainly times I wish I had a long arm quilting machine. Thanks again👍❤️🙂
Thanks Carmen:) Feeling a bit better but have a doctors appointment next week. This cough just won't go away. Maxwell too has a neurologist appointment. If it's not one thing, it's another!! LOL!
I will keep you in my prayers that you all get well and stay healthy, love the PJ’s I would love to see a video of you making this pattern and I would follow along with you. Just saying that would be nice. Hint hint, love you always, also how did you enjoy your special convention. I enjoyed mine in Buckingham, i hadn’t been there in years we have been going to Turnersville, well talk to you later sis.
Aw thanks so much Jane:) We used to live about 15 minutes from Buckingham Assembly Hall, now about an hour away. Our son lives only about 10 minutes from Turnersville!! We were there for the first time for the Special Convention Evening Entertainment for the overseas delegates! It is a BEAUTIFUL assembly hall!! The convention at the Wells Fargo Center was beyond awesome, but to be honest, very stressful for us 'older ones'! We got there all three days, via a coach for our congregation, which was lovely, but it meant VERY early days, which turned into VERY long three days:) Lots in our hall got ill, but not too bad. Worth it though:) LOL!
I applaud your work on the tartan pajamas! Phenomenal plaid matching and bound buttonholes. Jean and Ian, you make a great team! The sewing room was inspirational. I am on a journey to get my sewing room under control. Thanks. Hope you get better sooner than later!
Nice to see you all again I thought you would be busy with the convention and we all seem to get sick after so many of us together I guess. Rest up prayers to you all❤
We WERE so busy with the convention! Greeters at the airport, then the Special Evening Entertainment for the delegates, field service day, then the convention which was awesome! But stressful in a good way! Lots of love, tears, hugs, stairs, hours sitting, etc. We got a bit run down a did others. But in a good way:) LOL!
I'm so sorry you all got covid again.Wishing you all better soon. Plus, I hope maxwell new meds work for him. Good English man loves pj's. Take care of you all. From D johnson UK
You Truelove's have sure had your share of tribulations this year. Hopefully all of you heal soon. Congratulations on your quilts being accepted in the show. I had no doubts you wouldn't be accepted. You all are so beautiful people. Please take care of yourself.
Aw thanks so much Marji:) Yes, we have had our share, but others are much worse. We continue to pray for those less fortunate as we are:) We are feeling a bit better, I have a doctors appointment next Wednesday. Maxwell on Monday
😂 The Darth Vader iron!🤣 Nice sewing room Christine! Maybe you can share the brand/source for your very practical sewing table?🌟 I love buying flannel at JAF, when on sale, to make pj pants for myself and others. For the tops I buy the $2-3 tee shirts to coordinate, and sometimes I appliqué the fronts to go w/ the theme of the print on the pants. Matching plaid is no small feat, and you did a fab job! I’ve done it twice and don’t ever want to do it again! 😱 I buy the prints! 😝 The pattern I use is from Simplicity and it’s the one that only uses one piece for each leg; so there’s no side seam. More comfortable. And if you’re matching plaids, there’s two seams you won’t have to match! 😅 I’ve never done bound buttonholes. How do they compare with regular buttonholes? It seems I always have trouble making them on flannel, as something always seems to jamb up! But I do like the draw string, along with the elastic, bc my size changes a lot, up & down. And the drawstring makes them adjustable to my current size. I put one of those little toggle squinshy things on the drawstrings so I don’t hv to keep tying them. And a trick I learned from Land’s End pj pants is that grosgrain ribbon makes a convenient drawstring. I’m sorry you guys got hit again with the Covid! 😢 Hoping you feel better soon and that Maxwell gets his seizures under control. Soon, no more sickness! Yay! (Isaiah 33:24) And last, but not least, I’m glad your quilts were accepted to the quilt show! I never had any doubts!!! 🤗🤗🤗
First, my prayers for Maxwell. My daughter has a TBI (traumatic brain injury) from several concussions. She's not the most graceful person, neither am I. We joke that we are gracefully challenged, as well as vertically challenged (petite). She has two different types of seizures. She had a Grand Mal seizure two weeks ago. I helped her through it. Then last week, someone at the zoo where she works had a seizure. He had aspirated, and she had to take over the scene, pointing at each person, you call 911, you go get the AED, you do you know CPR. After his seizure, she immediately began CPR and was able to get what he aspirated out of his lungs and breathing again. As he regained consciousness, she talk with him to keep him calm. He was well over 6 feet tall and muscular. My daughter is just shy of 5 feet tall. She's pretty muscular. She does sword fighting, but they are historically accurate weapons, armor, shields, and sometimes, just leather. So, I know how scared you must feel when Maxwell does have a seizure. 🙏🤗🙏❤️
Maxwell was doing very well, and then Boom. Its been a bit of a nightmare, yet again, for us. You speak so glowingly of your lovely daughter. Proud momma there!! Hugs:)
I thought about sending a message a couple of days ago to check on you since we hadn’t seen you in a bit. I’m sorry you are not well. Get some rest and take care. Congrats on you acceptance in the quilt show.🎉🎊
Jean, you Ian and Maxwell seem to be stumbling from one crisis to another. Make a drink for your cough with hotwater, honey lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Drink it as hot as you can bear it at least twice a day. Praying that Maxwell's meds will get sorted soon. Trying to stay positive can be exhausting. Lovely pyjamas Ian. Well done Jean.
Stumbling is our middle name!! LOL! We just take whatever life gives us and sometimes it is not so great, but we learn to count our precious blessings when it is SUPER! :) LOL! But you are right, staying positive is so very tiring, when this cough is incredibly debilitating. I have a doctors appointment next week as does Maxwell also. Thanks again so much:) I've tried your remedy, works to a great extent. Also dosing up on extra vitamins!

thanks Regina;) We have been busy, but a good busy, However, I think we got a bit run down and stressed and are now paying the price!! Maxwell has been doing so well, and then, Not so good :/ My dreadful cough just won't go away and it is so tiring. But we will TRY to keep smiling!! Although it gets old after a while!! LOL! LOL!

Keeping you all and Maxwell in my prayers 😘
Oh we do appreciate that:)
Love the pj's. You did a great job Jean. Congrats on your 2 quilts. Hope you all feel better. Hugs to Maxwell and all of you.
Thanks Barbara:)
Get well soon, all of you. Ian loves his pjs-he is so proud of you-I love that! Bless you all. Pam Miller
He is so pleased with them....and now he wants more!! LOL! Thanks Pam:)
I applaud your work on the tartan pajamas! Phenomenal plaid matching and bound buttonholes. Jean and Ian, you make a great team! The sewing room was inspirational. I am on a journey to get my sewing room under control. Thanks. Hope you get better sooner than later!
Glad you like them! I'm sure your sewing 'space' is wonderful Gloria:) thanks so much:) Ian wants more PJ's!!
So sorry you are all not well prayers poor Maxwell hugs to everyone that is great about your quilts

Aw thanks so much Marji:) Yes, we have had our share, but others are much worse. We continue to pray for those less fortunate as we are:) We are feeling a bit better, I have a doctors appointment next Wednesday. Maxwell on Monday
Sending well wishes to get well soon
I really appreciate that:) Thank you:)
😂 The Darth Vader iron!🤣
Nice sewing room Christine! Maybe you can share the brand/source for your very practical sewing table?🌟
I love buying flannel at JAF, when on sale, to make pj pants for myself and others.
The pattern I use is from Simplicity and it’s the one that only uses one piece for each leg; so there’s no side seam.
Hoping you feel better soon and that Maxwell gets his seizures under control. Soon, no more sickness! Yay! (Isaiah 33:24)
And last, but not least, I’m glad your quilts were accepted to the quilt show! I never had any doubts!!! 🤗🤗🤗
Aw thanks Susan ~ we pray for that time to come VERY soon!!
You all are in my prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
We appreciate that!!! :)
Please Truelove Family be well and heal quickly! Blessings to All!
Thank you so much:) We are feeling a BIT better:)
Congrats on you acceptance in the quilt show.🎉🎊
Aw thanks so much:) Yes, this is taking a lot out of me, especially. I am resting and dosing up on my vitamins, more than usual. This too shall pass:)
I was concerned about you. I knew something was wrong. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Aw thanks so much:) Yes, on top of being (good) busy, we all got a bit run down and now are paying the price! I am feeling a bit better, not 100% though.
Clothes online not the same really have to do your research on clothing stores and good clothing. Stores are so expensive. Places like SHEIN and Amazon clothes quality is not there
Your husband accent is so detailed really neat
So true!! I used to make ALL my clothes....maybe will start again!
What is the man’s pajama pattern ?
She shows the actual Vogue pattern that she used near the end of the video.
@@joscreativewanderings yes I see Vogue ! I’ll run to joanns and look for it ! Thank you 😊
