In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.
The one where Joe immediately solved question after question was just remarkable, especially the maths one
I guess Mr. Gilbert was a better teacher to him than we first expected.
@@HOTD108_ "Oh, my mistake - he's a wanker"
@@HOTD108_ 🤣🤣🤣
It was his finest moment, I think. Well done, that man 😊
Would love to see Jo on the chase.
I see this compilation includes Joe Thomas' incredible display of mathematical skills, aka "the sexiest moment in Taskmaster history"
Nish Kumar summed up as a contestant at 0:38
If Russel had dropped a yolk on his head after taking the visor off, he really would've had egg on his face
Ba-dum tss
🤣
oh my god i am obsessed with how delighted alex looks at 9:40 after alice rolls her egg
Joe Thomas coming for Paul's job on the chase
Guarantee we'll be seeing at least one egg based task in the latest series. We've had our duck task so it's only a matter of time.
Which was first? A duck task or an egg task?
This is blatant coconut erasure.
In case anyone cares, "assessing the assassin wasn't easy" has 10 S's
"Is it one?"
@@kelseywu3723 said the man who forgets to get dressed past 10am
Exactly! Nobody tried to think about it, they just believed Paul
I bloody knew it! I worked it on fast in my head I’m well proud 🥲
Bob Mortimer lights up any show he is on, especially game shows. He is lovely.
Sean Lock would have been fantastic in these Taskmaster episodes. No one will make me laugh like he did.
Idk why but 4:34 was so impressive to me, he was so fast
I imagine he used the same strategy I do: work on each calculation as it’s said, rather than risk having to remember it all in order later.
And not only fast, but calm and confident too.
I got to 81 by the time he got the answer.
fast but completely wrong, the show itself aparantly dont know about the order of math.
@@lillepil7 Or, more accurately, BODMAS is not usually applied when a calculation is being read aloud in that way? 🙄
@@DrWhoFanJ wrong again, the way its said does not indicate that its isolated.
Anyone else like how they actually raised the nets according to their height
I'm under 5' and I am always mad when challenges aren't adjusted to height. American Ninja Warrior, most of the women going through that course are better than the men if you take the height disadvantage into consideration.
weirdly the way greg says "you put eggs under my chair?" has lodged itself in my brain and I love it
No matter what. Joe answering the math question, one of the sexiest moments on taskmaster 👁️🫦👁️
Lol this has 78 likes yet it’s the bottom comment
I know the first challenge the camera focused on Nish failing almost immediately but Aisling actually failed first by grabbing the pole.
Its missing Ed Gambles bouncing rubber egg
I mean. That’s textbook Nish. 🤣
The last "guess the number of eggs under Greg" was such a low effort tie-break task. I really want to know from the Production side why that happened. Maybe they didn't have any pre-recorded tie-breakers where Mawaan and Richard succeeded.
Not much different to guess the number on Alex’s arm.
They aren't meant to be high quality tasks. Their only purpose is for to reach a winner, that's it and they may not even used. So there's no point in putting much effort in to creating them.
It's also possible that your last point is correct and they had to create something in the moment.
Honestly, it is, but it's also a good gag. It fits into that slightly twisted Taskmaster logic of "there is a good reason for this to be the case [one for me, one for Greg] but nobody in the world would have a chance of figuring that out." That's a harder joke to pull off than it might seem
They do the tiebreaks in the order of how much they want them done. If that had been the first tiebreak of the series, then we'd see Mawaan & Richard trying to make a wind-up dinosaur travel the longest.
Also, that means Greg would've had the green egg carton under his chair for three episodes and might have never known about it if not for the tiebreak!
There's never been more than 3 tiebreakers in a series, so my theory is they film 3 per series (starting from series 4), and since there had already been two in series 10 (wind-up toy and loo roll), there was a third where either Mawaan and Richard tied or it was promoted to a main task.
Then again that doesn't explain why Kerry and Jess had to do the number on Alex's arm tiebreaker when that was only the second episode
I can't help but feel slightly disappointed that they didn't include "The Ol' Rubber Egg" from the 'Quisps' episode. Between Ed Gamble's reaction and David Baddiel's "possessed egg", I could hardly breathe on first viewing 😂😂😂
I have watched all seasons, funny how you forget tasks that were done
Not when you’ve watched them all a gazillion times. Then it’s more like “I love this one” as it starts.
I swear I don't remember the one where they have to throw eggs on the shelf while supine
“Assessing the assassin wasn’t easy!” is 10
Thanks for dedicating this episode to me.
1. How have I not seen this video?
2. How have I not seen any of these tasks?
7:48 Rhod Gilbert must be like, '' why is he thinking after he messed up the task ''
???
I've only just twigged why they added egg based tasks today
Some of these tasks would make great drinking games 😄
9:37 alex looks happy.
I miss the weekly taskmaster episodes so much

The new series just started.
@@Lizzo13 Will the new episodes be available on youtube?
@@harrylexx it already is

Have an eggcellent Easter weekend everyone!
I figured I'd watch it. After all- what the shell. The usual yolks, of course.
They were AMAZINGLY awful at the egg throw through the hoop
seriously Bob is twice Nish's age and bossed him in pretty much every physical task that series
Nish hitting the rim immediately, at the final task, just as he could have won an episode --- it was so on brand I died laughing.
Will new episodes continue to be uploaded here? I'm not seeing the first episode of the new series here yet.
Cheers.
I'd forgotten that first one, I need to re-watch that season
Can I ask, in the round where they need to avoid the green egg? How does that work? Is that green in nr 9 only? Like if they missed the answer on one of the others, and picked, say 5, would they then get the green egg?
That was eggcellent
4:50 so, according to Lou at least half the months have more than 8 letters?
Hassin kisses the egg and the judge looks up lol
2:58 😂
Eggselent compilation.
I'm disappointed that this video didn't achieve full egg.
Sally is so beautiful
they are egg -sessed on this show.
7:50
For the firsr task, they didn't say you couldn't use the broken egg
Alex did say the entire egg must go through. Plus it wouldn’t have mattered for Nish anyway after the coconut incident lol
What season is this one?
When you're so early that the video says no views but 5 likes 😭
