James, Rhod, Phil, Jessica, and Kerry were by far the most chaotic in general. One of my favorite seasons.

Fun Fact: after Jessica fell off that stage extension/catwalk thing. they actually named it "The Knappett" in her honour and you can see it has that name on a sign at the end of the catwalk in all tasks using the catwalk in future series. it's amazing that the moment was so iconic it influenced the production team to have a reference to it for all series up to this day!
It's like in top gear when the final turn got named Gambon; after Sir Michael Gambon got his car up on two wheels during his lap

Season 7's lineup was the first to feature all three chaotic alignments with Jess (CG), James (CN), and Rhod (CE).
I'm missing the iconic two-line drawing task. "Only elephants and hippos have that kind of tail!" The other team pissing themselves from laughing sure counts as chaos to me
I thought it was enough of a travesty it wasn’t the thumbnail & then it’s not even in the video!

first time I watched that we had to pause the tv because I was crying with laughter. I think I slid off the couch too so I was convulsing on the floor (much to the concern of my cat)
James’ and Jess’s chaotic sibling energy kills me every time
Season 7 was pure gold! When Jess was on the podcast she said that she would do Taskmaster again in a heartbeat even without cameras or being paid 😄 I‘m still waiting for a full episode of cul-de-sac.
I'd love to know if anyone didn't enjoy doing the show. It's just pure fun
@@andrewbowden6982 Sadly Doc Brown has said he didn’t enjoy his time on the show, I think it was because he didn’t like being humiliated or something. Romesh also said he regretted the way he acted, and Phil Wang has criticised Greg for underscoring him, although with him you can never tell if he’s being serious or not.
@@iliketrains3495 Underscoring is definitely just a joke between friends I feel. Shame about Doc and Romesh, they provided some great moments

Something I didn't realise until Ed pointed out on the Podcast yesterday. James puts his arms out to try and catch Jess when she falls off 😂😂
It is still one of the sweetest and most genuine things I have seen him do.
He is **instinctively** helpful.
Ed Gamble and David Baddiel's drawings have to probably be my favourite task in the history of this show

After the first season, I think the one with James Acaster is my favourite. I absolutely love Rhod and Phil just holding each other from 12:17 onwards

There’s a moment on Hogan’s Heroes when Col Hogan is told to stop his men from rioting and he just stands there saying“Fellows, settle down please!” It’s like the converse of that scene.

@@mickeymickey9914 The CW network tried to show series 8 of the UK version back in 2020 but cancelled it after the first episode got bad ratings. I don't think most Americans get British comedy.

Falling 3' onto carpet would not bruise ribs.
@Erica Smith That really depends on how you land. You can fall 0" and end up with brused ribs if you are particularly unlucky. I knew someone who broke their leg by stepping off a curb.
I Once fell "from her own height", as written on medical report.. gracefully managed to break my elbow! 🤘 🥴

One of the things I love about Greg Davies as taskmaster is he genuinely seems like he’s there to have a great time and to make sure everyone else has a great time.

I love how in the UK there’s a pool of comedians to attend all these quiz/game shows. So different than US. I prefer UK stuff like this.
That talent pool does also exist in the States, we just don't have as many comedians that are effectively universally known nation-wide since the country is so much bigger. (As an American watching this show, it honestly doesn't matter to me that I've known... 3? 4? of these comedians over 14 seasons (still catching up after finding it when I was at home after surgery), it's still absolutely incredible to watch 😂

They're in the middle of uploading Season 10. Their streaming service "Supermax+" is ahead by a couple of episodes plus uploading other international seasons. Supermax+ shows they have plans to upload 11 & 12.

For Jesus's donut, depending on how well the developer coded the universe, the height could either be almost the height of the universe (if, once you get to the edge of the universe, you end up at the opposite edge, or in the case of height, once you get to the top, you end up at the bottom) or infinity (since if you start measuring up from the stage, you'd never get to the donut)
