Good video,I have one question about when you need more power and your engine starts up,you said it was -9c and if your driving in electric only mode and for what ever reason you need full power is it really good for an engine to cold start and go full rev's ,I was always very careful not to rev an engine to much till it warms up.
All electric off roading is something I'd love to experience. I enjoy going out in the woods looking for wildlife and if I had the option to completely shut off my engine I would do it. My 2.7 ecoboost is quiet, but no noise at all would be better.
It's a great experience! I'm sure many will say that V8 roar is better (and I love a good exhaust note, don't get me wrong), but something about hearing nuanced things like your tires cracking ice and crunching over branches makes it more immersive.
It's funny you said that. My brother is big into hunting here in northern Pa and he goes back in the mountain in his Mojave then he gets on his electric bike and rides further in with on the bike! Lol

The truth is we're always walking the line of tough testing that doesn't damage vehicles. And to be clear, it's not really because of the manufacturers (they'll stop lending us stuff if we break everything, but for the most part they are pretty understanding of the risks of what we do). The bigger issue is that when we break something it has to come out of the fleet to be fixed, meaning other journalists lose their time with it and therefore lose money. My question is why do they decrease the tow rating when it has more horsepower and torque then the v6 model I know the 4xe is a combine number but I need to know why?
The full float rear axle is part of the reason. Only the rubicons have the higher tow rating. The 4xE and the 392 weigh more and does not get the higher rating for towing. Not sure why the 392 does not get increased tow rating.
